Mathew Knowles says Kanye West may ‘Pay a Price' for attacking Beyoncé and Jay-Z's kids

ALBAWABA - Mathew Knowles warns Kanye West of consequences for attacking Beyoncé's kids.
Mathew Knowles suggests that Kanye West might face consequences for his disparaging remarks about the mental capacity of his daughter Beyoncé, who is Jay-Z's 7-year-old twin.
"Stupidity results in consequences, particularly in the music industry," the record executive told TMZ on Friday.
The 73-year-old Knowles said he's "hopeful" the "Heartless" vocalist "gets the type of help he needs," acknowledging that the latter's recent antics on X (formerly Twitter) may be the result of his mental condition.
Following his ex-wife Tina Knowles' mysterious response to West's "evil" attack on her grandchildren, Mathew made his voice heard.

Page Six was unable to reach representatives for the 47-year-old West for comment at this time.
The Grammy winner made fun of Beyoncé and Jay-Z's kids, Sir and Rumi, on Tuesday before swiftly taking it down.
West, who has been diagnosed with bipolar disorder, stated that he removed the message because he didn't want his account to be terminated, not because he was "a good person."
The next day, the "Bound 2" rapper admitted that he felt "bad" about what he had said, but he quickly attacked Jay-Z and Beyoncé for observing how the Kardashians "[ran] him over" during his marriage to his ex-wife Kim Kardashian.
However, West made no mention of Blue Ivy, the musician's 13-year-old daughter.

Although Jay-Z, 55, and Beyoncé, 43, have not yet responded to West's remarks, a source informed Page Six that they are "discussing" any legal ramifications.
We are informed that Jay-Z and Beyoncé are talking about how they wish to address this situation, whether it be in a private or legal setting, and that they are aware of the posts that Kanye has since removed.
Kardashian was "appalled" by West's recent outburst, according to another insider.
Our source claimed that Kim had had enough and had given up on trying to communicate with Kanye in a normal manner.
"Kids are off limits, regardless of Kanye's ongoing feud with Jay and Beyoncé."
Kardashian and West have recently had trouble co-parenting; the businesswoman was indignant when West produced a song with their oldest daughter, North, that featured Christian "King" and Sean "Diddy" Combs.
The reality star tried to stop West from releasing the song in order to "protect" the 11-year-old, according to screenshot texts that TMZ was able to obtain.
Additionally, the ex-couples have children together: Saint, 9; Chicago, 7; and Psalm, 5.

Ozzy Osbourne's home city hails star who 'lived life in rock n' roll'

BIRMINGHAM, United Kingdom — "RIP Ozzy", "Thank you for the music". Fans gathered in Ozzy Osbourne's home city Wednesday to pay homage to the heavy metal music icon. Floral tributes piled up for the legendary Black Sabbath frontman, just over two weeks after he and his fellow band mates filled a stadium in the central English city for a memorable reunion concert. Some fans told AFP they were still in shock and felt emotional at news of the 76-year-old's death on Tuesday after a battle with Parkinson's disease. "Today is, I think, one of the darkest days in heavy metal history because the godfather of heavy metal just passed away," said Burjor Anklesaria, a 32-year-old doctor from London. Nigel O'Connell, 63, brought his grandson with him to view a mural honouring the group in the city centre. He said he was saddened by the news but not surprised "because he lived his life in rock and roll". "Ozzy was just a bit of an icon of the city -- he was a bit of a fool, but everybody loved him!" he said, adding Osbourne had "done the city proud". Elsewhere in the city centre, posters of the singer sprang up on walls while flowers also appeared at the Black Sabbath canal bridge. Fans left lit candles, flowers, soft toys and even cans of beer at a bench on the bridge adorned with drawings of the faces of the four band members. Fresh in everyone's mind is the July 5 concert at Birmingham's Villa Park football stadium in front of tens of thousands of adoring heavy metal fans from around the world. Weak from Parkinson's disease, the ailing singer had to stay seated throughout the sell-out gig, the first they had performed in 20 years. His performance moved many in the crowd to tears. 'Mad days, good memories' Rebecca Brownell and her 13-year-old son Billy, a recent convert to heavy metal, were among those leaving flowers at the mural. The 45-year-old seamstress described Osbourne's death as both "sad and not sad because, you know, he had a great last few months". She said the heavy metal scene was "big for Birmingham" and the concert had "brought it all back". "Hopefully that will carry on for a little while ... and a new generation of kids will learn all about it," she said. Black Sabbath's first manager Jim Simpson, visiting the bridge, said the number and range of people who had turned out following his death showed the impact his music had on people. "There are people here who are 80 years of age or eight years of age and all stages in between and it shows he had a remarkable way of contacting people," he said. "It has been 55 years and still [Black Sabbath] are more popular than ever." The world had lost "an inordinately nice, balanced, human being" in Osbourne, he said. For schoolgirl Eliza Shepherd, 16, Osbourne had been a "massive part" of her life as her father had passed on his love of Black Sabbath. Praising him as "cool and funny", she said the concert had been the "best day of my life". "It was just sad to see him struggling a bit. But it was so good," she said. For many fans, however, the sadness was tempered by the memory of happy times and great music over the years. "All the concerts were mad, everyone was just jumping around and having a good time ... mad days, but it was good fun, good memories," O'Connell added.

Katy Perry falls mid-air after butterfly prop malfunctions onstage in San Francisco

ALBAWABA - During her stop in San Francisco on the Lifetimes Tour, Katy Perry had a scary incident. The 40-year-old pop star was singing at the Chase Center on Friday, July 18. She was sitting on a flying butterfly prop when it broke down in the air, almost sending her flying into the crowd below. A fan recorded a video that was shared on X that shows Perry singing her 2013 number one hit "Roar" while flying above the crowd. During the show, the prop jerks down after coming loose from its wire, which almost knocks her off her seat. Perry stopped singing and grabbed the flying object to steady herself as it moved in the air. She looked startled. As soon as it calmed down, she went back to singing the song and finished the show strong. Perry talked about the accident in the air on social media after the show. "Goodnight, San Francisco," she wrote on her Instagram Story, along with a screenshot of how scared she looked as the bomb went off. INGLEWOOD, CALIFORNIA - JULY 15: Katy Perry (/AFP) This is not the first time the "Firework" singer has had a technical problem on stage. According to People, a similar problem happened during a Lifetime Tour stop in Australia in late June. The flying sphere she was riding started to tilt in the middle of her performance, causing her to grab onto the support cables to stay steady. Katy Perry isn't the only artist who has had problems with flying props lately. Beyoncé also had a scary moment at her Cowboy Carter show in Houston at the end of June. The "Texas Hold 'Em" singer's suspended car stopped and tilted above the crowd at NRG Stadium during a performance of "16 Carriages." This caused a short delay in the show. Perry is taking her new record, 143, on tour right now. The album got to No. 6 on the Billboard 200. On Monday, July 21, she will play her next show in Seattle. After that, she will go on tour in Canada, Europe, and South America. The trip began in late April and will end in early December.

Miyamoto reveals main cast for The Legend of Zelda live-action movie

Published July 16th, 2025 - 11:00 GMT ALBAWABA - Hunter Schafer is not starring as Zelda. Nintendo's Shigeru Miyamoto just took to the internet by storm after revealing the new leads for the upcoming The Legend of Zelda live-action movie. The upcoming movie, which is set to premiere in May 2027, sparked widespread debate on social media after fans voiced their concerns over a live-action adaptation of their favorite video game franchise, stating further that an animated show or movie should've been the preferable step to take when bringing Zelda into the world of cinema. According to a post made by Geoff Keighley on X (formerly known as Twitter), English actress Bo Bragason will be playing Zelda while Benjamin Evan Ainsworth will star as Link. A fan wrote, "Actually great casting choices." Another added, "Still think it's bizarre to make a live action over an animated." The live action The Legend of Zelda movie has its leads according to Shigeru will be played by Bo Bragason, and Link by Benjamin Evan Ainsworth.
