Horse racing tips: ‘She relishes every yard of this trip' – Templegate's 3-1 NAP can land a quickfire double

LADY MARIKO (5.10 Yarmouth, nap)
There was a lot to like about the way she got her head in front at Wetherby last time. She came from a good way back and battled right to the line, relishing every yard of this distance. The handicapper has been fair with a 2lb rise in the weights and she looks capable of improvement. Noisy Music looks the main danger after a good run on the all-weather at Southwell last time out.
BEACH POINT (5.50 Kempton, nb)
He made it six places from his past seven races when second at Leicester last time. This looks a good chance to get his head back in front with the step up in distance likely to suit. He has a top pilot in Mason Paetel on board in this apprentice race.
ROGUE ENDEAVOUR (7.10 Ffos Las, treble)
He went down in a tight finish over a similar trip at Bath 14 days ago. He likes to go from the front and his capable claimer Elizabeth Gale is full value for her 7lb.
TOMMY'S PROMISE (4.10 Yarmouth, Lucky 15)
He has few miles on the clock and just over half a length away when second here last time. He is proven over this trip and looks dangerous again from his basement handicap mark of 49.

‘Extremely hard to fault and his price will collapse' – Templegate's ante-post tips for a big week of racing
YOU can really get one over the bookies if you time the ante-post markets just right. And with a number of fields looking likely to cut up at this week's Newmarket July meeting and beyond, now is the time to strike. Advertisement 1 Templegate reckons William Haggas' More Thunder is a bit of a good thing in the Bunbury Cup at Newmarket on Saturday Credit: PA Sun Racing's Steve Mullen (Templegate) picks out three punts he fancies over the next few days. NEWMARKET Bet365 TROPHY (Friday) ENDLESS VICTORY wasn't given the greatest of rides in the Copper Horse Handicap at Royal Ascot last time. Advertisement I'm a big fan of William Buick but he held up this four-year-old for too long before he came home with a rattle to be beaten five lengths. Barely any Charlie Appleby horse did themselves justice at the Royal meeting but that was a useful return to the UK four months after his last run in Dubai. They know he sees out this 1m6f trip now so Buick can keep him a bit nearer to the pace and 7-1 looks a fair price. BUNBURY CUP (Saturday) Advertisement Most read in Horse Racing I know putting up a horse at 3-1 for a big handicap is hardly rocket science but I still think MORE THUNDER should be shorter in Saturday's Bunbury Cup. Straight after his fantastic Wokingham run at Royal Ascot, I suggested he would be cracking each-way value for the Group 1 July Cup at this meeting. Connections have chosen to keep him in the calmer waters of this 7f contest and he is extremely hard to fault. I wouldn't be surprised if he was something like 13-8 come off time. Advertisement RAAFEDD – BET 365 MILE (Newmarket, Sat) or JOHN SMITH'S HANDICAP (York, Sat) RAAFEDD has always given me the impression that he's better than a handicapper and he was the subject of a massive gamble into favourite for the Britannia at Royal Ascot last time. He had an absolute nightmare run there and was pushed backwards before being blocked at least twice when trying to make his run. Tom Marquand let him come home in his own time when it was clear the race had gone so ignore his finishing position. Advertisement It was just his fourth visit to the track and things can't go as badly this weekend at either Newmarket or York where he has entries. York looks the most likely target and he's a fair 5-1 shot. Should he go to Newmarket instead he'll be a good deal shorter than the 14s currently on offer. Horse racing tips: ‘He looks sure to score at his beloved track' – Templegate's NAP unstoppable on Tuesday
TEMPLEGATE tackles Tuesday's action confident of building the bank for the Newmarket July Festival. Back a horse by clicking their odds below. TIME PATROL (7.12 Brighton, nap) He can notch up yet another win at his beloved Brighton. Tony Carroll's five-year-old has landed three victories from four visits to the seaside and came home quickly when just denied here last time. The handicapper has left his mark alone and he takes a drop in class which can get him back to winning ways. He gets on well with today's rider Jack Doughty and decent ground is ideal. CRYSTAL MER (8.30 Uttoxeter, nb) He looked a cut above when bolting up over course and distance last month and can strike again under champion jockey Sean Bowen. The six-year-old powered clear with loads in hand that day and still looks well treated for Hughie Morrison who rarely misses when targeting these races. That was his debut for the yard and there's a lot more to come. SHADY BAY (7.42 Brighton, treble) She caught the eye with a five-length win at Nottingham last time out. She showed a blistering turn of pace there and clearly enjoyed dropping to this distance. She is back out quickly under a 5lb penalty and has a big chance of following up under Hollie Doyle. COMMAND THE STARS (4.25 Lingfield, Lucky 15) He showed bundles of promise on debut and then absolutely bolted up at Beverley, pulling four lengths clear despite still running green. That performance marked him out as well above average and this step up to 7f is sure to suit given his stout Sea The Stars pedigree.
