Danny Jones' wife Georgia backs down as she gives praise to husband in family update
Georgia Jones has opened up about the title she's prepared to 'let' hubby Danny wear, alongside a heartwarming family update, following a period of intense media scrutiny.
The ex-Miss England and McFly frontman have been hitched since August 2014 and became parents to their son Cooper in 2018.
The couple's tear-jerking reunion in the Australian jungle for I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! last year captured the nation's hearts.
However, they faced turmoil when Danny was spotted sharing a 'drunken kiss' with his I'm A Celebrity campmate Maura Higgins during the raucous BRIT Awards 2025 afterparty in March.
The scandal erupted the day after the awards ceremony, held at London's O2 on March 1, with footage emerging online that seemed to catch the McFly singer in an intimate moment with Maura.
Nearly two weeks on, Danny broke his silence with his initial response to the swirling rumours.
In a message uploaded to his Instagram Story, he wrote: "Hello everyone. Sorry it's taken me a while to post this but I've taken some time out to be with those closest to me.
"I want to deeply apologise to my wife and family for putting them in this situation. I love them so much and we'll continue to deal with this privately."
Danny and Georgia have carried on as usual with their public appearances, and in a recent social media update, Georgia shared an adorable moment of their son, Cooper, enjoying a McFly concert with his mate.
Georgia posted videos of the boys eagerly watching from the front of the stage, before they got the chance to jump onto it in front of the huge crowd.
In her post, podcast host Georgia said: "I'll let @dannyjonesofficial have 'cool parent' if it means I get to watch Cooper and his bestie Jude have the time of their lives."
The comments section was soon brimming with messages. @slmarsh91 said: "We LOVED watching Cooper have the best time! He looked like he enjoyed every minute."
@ktbunko said: "Awww so cute! ! We were there on Sunday loved seeing Cooper and his friend living their best lives on stage." @beapipoca_ gushed: "So so lovely! At the age of 7, Coops can stir a crowd and dance with his bestie like the day won't end, that's so cute."
@charlt88 responded: "Omg them on stage waving is too cute." @joanneh0902 said: "Amazing, I think your son has 2 cool parents." And @cami. paixaoo added: "So amazing. I bet you both are cool parents!"

Anne Hegerty of 'The Chase' uninterested in relationships after wedding snub
The TV star is a regular on the showbiz circuit and admits that she's not one for romantic relationships There's no one quite like Anne Hegerty. A quiz champion on The Chase since 2010 and a memorable participant in the jungle in 2018, the 67-year-old, who was diagnosed with autism in her mid-40s, is unashamedly herself. Just last month, Anne, who boasts an estimated net worth of £3.2 million, shed light on the payment structure for the Chasers on the hit quiz show, explaining there's no fixed salary involved and their earnings are not guaranteed. Now, the sharp-witted and refreshingly candid TV personality has chatted to OK! Magazine about her disinterest in romance, her bone of contention with former jungle campmate Nick Knowles, and an ambition she's yet to fulfil. On being comfortable in her own company, Anne told OK: "Even at showbiz events, I need to take time out if it's very noisy. I need to chill for a bit, alone. I know many people like that. "People keep inviting me to things and I think, 'Are you lonely?' So many people have tons of friends and have to have them around all the time." Asked if she'd like someone special to share her life with, Anne answered frankly: "No, I really wouldn't. "I used to, but I realised I was wanting to want it rather than genuinely wanting a romantic relationship. "I don't even want pets. I've got pot plants and I mind when they die, but no, I'm very happy in my own company. I'm just fine." Anne said she keeps in touch with her old I'm A Celebrity campmates here and there, but that a special occasion concerning Nick Knowles prompted the reality TV show line-up from six years ago to reconnect. "We've still got our WhatsApp group," Anne revealed. "It's not very active, but I did post on there recently. I saw in the papers that Nick Knowles had got married. I didn't get an invite, but I'm not bitter – much! "I posted my congrats on the group and everyone else did the same. If I meet any of them out and about, it's always big catch-ups and hugs." So, with one reality TV show having been ticked off the list, could she be tempted to get her dancing shows on for another? A certain Strictly Come Dancing perhaps? "My agent tried to get me to do it ages ago, but I couldn't even formulate the words to say, 'I think this is a bloody terrible idea.' I can't dance to save my life. "When I'm in panto, you can make me sing a bit but, whatever you do, don't make me dance." Anne does harbour one burning ambition, though, admitting: "I would love to do a bit of acting. I'd love a chance to do a comedy role. I do love being funny."

How Meghan Markle's disdain for her 'tiny' home in Kensington Palace was the start of all her troubles, according to royal insider reveals
A royal insider has claimed that Meghan's dislike for her living arrangements at Kensington Palace were the start of her troubles with royal life and set the Duke and Duchess of Sussex on the path to 'Megxit'. It's Meghan's 44th birthday on Monday and following the so-called 'peace summit' last month, it appears at long last that the animosities between the Sussexes and the other royals may soon be thawing.
