Cyberpunk: Edgerunners (2022)

Much like Ellie, Shadow's life is marked by loss, grief, and a desire for revenge, and his conflict with Sonic brings out the darkness in the Blue Blur himself.
Sonic the Hedgehog 3 leaves plenty of room for lighthearted humor in its tale of revenge, especially with Jim Carrey playing two Doctor Robotniks. It also features some spectacular anime-style action carried out by its superpowered hedgehogs, making it the most faithful and thrilling Sonic film yet.

Castlevania (2017-2021)
Long before The Last of Us hit HBO, Netflix showed how video game adaptations could be taken seriously with Castlevania. Similar to The Last of Us, Castlevania portrays characters searching for meaning and happiness in a bleak world while battling monsters, both human and undead.
Such a dark and bold series delves into heavy issues of religious oppression, grief, and depression, all while delivering some of the most compelling characters ever seen in a video game adaptation. Both Arcane and The Last of Us explore the cycle of violence that unfolds in a world seemingly determined to destroy itself, while also telling a story about finding love in the unlikeliest of places. Also, with incredible voice acting and animation on par with the Spider-Verse films, Arcane delivered a dazzling and immersive video game adaptation in a league of its own.

Fallout (2024-present)
Prime Video's Fallout follows Lucy (Ella Purnell), who, after living in an underground bunker her whole life, ventures out into the radioactive wasteland to rescue her father from raiders. Like The Last of Us, this vast and dense series takes place in a post-apocalyptic version of America filled with monsters, albeit one created by a nuclear war. The show's characters face several horrors and dark truths about the world they once knew and the people they love.
However, Fallout takes a more comedic approach to its dark, sprawling story. As the naive Lucy and her allies face a world plagued by vicious marauders, horrific 'ghouls,' and evil corporations, the upbeat fantasy fed to her and the other Vault dwellers burns away in a haunting satire of American society at the height of the Atomic Age. This all makes for a bold, thrilling, but enjoyable dystopian drama that does justice to its acclaimed source material.

The Fantastic Four: First Steps will introduce Marvel's First Family into the MCU's main timeline. It also brings in the cosmic heavyweight Galactus to the party! But the big question on everyone's mind is, why this version of Earth? Why now? Well, a new teaser just revealed the reason, and it confirms a rumor that has been making the round. it turns out Galactus set his sights on Earth not because it's ripe for destruction, but because of Reed Richards and Sue Storm's child, Franklin Richards. In the teaser, the team brought before Galactus by the Silver Surfer. It goes on to reveal the villain's massive frame, but he's hidden in shadow for most of this scene before he arrives on Earth and fully steps out of the shadows. The footage also shows Reed Richards telling the press that in exchange for the Earth, Galactus asked for their son Franklin. Mr. Fantastic told them that is too high a price, something the planet's citizens understandably feel differently about. If you're unfamiliar with Franklin Richards, he's absurdly powerful. He was Introduced in Fantastic Four Annual #6 in 1968, and is a reality-warping, universe-spawning, omega-level mutant who, at full potential, could rival cosmic beings like Eternity. Galactus onbviously sees Franklin as a potential never-ending food source. Franklin's ability to create pocket universes and new worlds essentially makes him Galactus' version of a personal chef. And Galactus is hungry. Before Galactus was Galactus, he was Galan, a survivor of the universe that existed before the current one. After merging with the Sentience of the Universe, he reemerged post-Big Bang as a being of insatiable hunger, one who requires the energy of entire planets to survive. In the comics, he's not evil, he's elemental and necessary, Aand when he sends his heralds like Silver Surfer or Shalla-Bal to scout planets, it's not personal. It's survival. The MCU's Fantastic Four is shaping up to be a story about parenthood, power, and survival on a galactic scale. It'll be interesting to see how Galactus' story arc ends up playing out and if he actually ends wiping out this 1960s-inspired Earth, causing the Fantastic Four to jump realities into Earth-616 setting up Avengers: Doomsday in 2026. But for Christopher Storer, creator, co-showrunner, writer, and director of the hit show, it all began with his frequent visits to the Original Mr. Beef on Orleans sandwich shop. Friends with Chris Zucchero, the son of the original founder, Storer penned and directed the pilot FX ordered in March 2021. And the rest is history, as The Bear's phenomenal success has also translated to huge growth for the Original Mr. Beef on Orleans sales. The Original Mr. Beef on Orleans on FX's The Bear The O.G. Original Mr. Beef started as a beef stand in 1979, established by Joseph Zuccero to serve tasty Italian beef sandwiches to locals and tourists and everyone in between.
