The "Sharjah Sports Summer" programme is one of the most prominent summer initiatives implemented by the Emirate of Sharjah clubs, with the support and sponsorship of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC). It targets age groups of children and youth through integrated recreational, training, and educational activities, contributing to enhancing quality of life and reflecting the emirate's vision of human development.
5-Week Programme
The club is preparing to organise a distinctive summer programme spanning five consecutive weeks, starting in early July. Each week will include a different theme that reflects the club's comprehensive vision for youth development, according to a carefully considered sequence.
The programme begins with the first week under the theme "I am Creative," followed by the second week, "Here is Sharjah," the third week, "I am the Community," the fourth week, "I am an Athlete," and the fifth week, "I am the Future."
Sustainable Community Development
During the meeting, Ahmed Abdullah Al Ghasib Al Naqbi emphasised the importance of developing a summer programme that combines sports, cultural, and community aspects, stimulating participants' energies in a safe and inspiring educational environment. He pointed out that through this initiative, the club seeks to consolidate its position as a national incubator that contributes to honing the talents of future generations and supports sustainable community development.

Creative Event Attendance The outstanding event, titled "I Am Creative," took place yesterday morning at Dibba Al Hisn Sports and Cultural Club under the patronage of the Sharjah Sports Council, with a large turnout of participants of all ages. The event was attended by prominent figures, including Dr. Mohammed Ahmed Al Matoua, Chairman of the Club's Board of Directors, and Mohammed Abdullah Al Tarban, Chairman of Dibba Al-Hisn Football Club, along with several committee heads and administrative and technical staff. Anti-Bullying Workshop Impact The second day also included an outstanding awareness workshop on "Bullying," conducted by an officer from Sharjah Police. This session aimed to raise awareness about bullying, its various forms, and its psychological and social impacts, while fostering tolerance and positive behavior. Al Dhaid Club Launches "Our Holiday Is Different" Activities
Organised by the club under the umbrella of the Sharjah Sports Council (SSC), the programme saw widespread participation from children and adolescents, as well as a remarkable presence of parents and a number of officials and administrative and supervisory staff at the club. Optimal use of leisure time during summer vacation The launch of the programme comes within the context of the Emirate of Sharjah's commitment to promoting the concept of optimal use of leisure time during the summer vacation, embodying the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to nurture generations and provide a safe and educational summer environment that contributes to building their skills and enhancing their capabilities. The launch event was attended by His Excellency Malik Musabah Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Marketing and Investment Committee; His Excellency Saif bin Dalwan Al Ketbi, Chairman of the Planning and Institutional Excellence Committee; Mr. Muhair Obaid Al Khayal Al Tunaiji, Executive Director of the Club; a number of supervisors and organisers, and a crowd of parents who expressed their pride in the level of organisation and the activities the Club had prepared for their children. Al Ketbi pointed out that the programme will continue until July 31, 2025, and includes daily morning activities that cater to the interests of children and young people, opening up broad horizons for creativity, exploration, and active community participation, making "Our Holiday is Different" a successful summer model in the Emirate of Sharjah.
