Fleetwood Mac's Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham tease long-lost debut album
Stevie Nicks and Lindsey Buckingham are officially reuniting — sort of — after sparking reunion rumors on social media.
The musicians have revealed that their 1973 album 'Buckingham Nicks' is getting reissued for the digital age.

The record will be re-released for the first time in the US since the early 1980s.
On Wednesday, Nicks, 77, and Buckingham, 75, released a joint Instagram video of a billboard advertising the album on Sunset Strip in Los Angeles, Calif.

'Buckingham Nicks is available for pre-order now, out September 19th. ✨ 'Crying In The Night' is yours now. Listen at the link in bio,' they captioned the post.
Fans flipped out over the news, considering Nicks and Buckingham had been at odds in recent years.

Last week, Nicks and Buckingham posted coordinated Instagram posts that sent social media users into a frenzy.
The pair began following each other on the app before Nicks posted a handwritten lyric from 'Frozen Love,' a love song off of 'Buckingham Nicks.'

Shortly after, Buckingham completed the lyric with his own handwritten message that read, 'I'll meet you there.'
The duo first met as high school students near Palo Alto, Calif., in the 1960s. Buckingham was in his rock band Fritz, and asked Nicks to join as their lead singer.

After leaving the group, they launched their own band, Buckingham Nicks.
Their album flopped, however, and they were dropped from their contract at Polydor Records.
Soon after, they moved to Los Angeles.

In 1974, Nicks and Buckingham were invited to join Fleetwood Mac but split romantically while recording the band's 1977 album, 'Rumours.'
Both exes remained in Fleetwood Mac until Buckingham was fired following a behind-the-scenes altercation in 2018.
Buckingham and Nicks weren't the only ones in the band with relationship woes. Around the same time as their late '70s breakup, Fleetwood Mac's John McVie and Christine McVie ended their marriage.

Nicks went on to write 'Dreams,' while Buckingham penned 'Go Your Own Way' on the group's 'Rumours' album.
Over the years, the former bandmates have thrown jabs at one another.
In 1997, Nicks told Rolling Stone that she 'resented' the lyrics that Buckingham wrote in 'Go Your Own Way,' with lines insinuating the singer was 'packing up, shacking up' with different men after their breakup.

'He knew it wasn't true. It was just an angry thing that he said. Every time those words would come onstage, I wanted to go over and kill him,' explained the vocalist. 'He knew it, so he really pushed my buttons through that. It was like, 'I'll make you suffer for leaving me.''
By 2018, things came to a head when Fleetwood Mac was honored at that year's MusiCares benefit gala.
An argument ensued, ending with Buckingham being fired from the band.

He was replaced by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers guitarist Mike Campbell, as well as Neil Finn.
Buckingham and Nicks allegedly didn't talk again until the celebration of life for McVie. The keyboardist died in 2022 at age 79.
'The only time I've spoken to Lindsey was there, for about three minutes,' the Grammy winner told Rolling Stone in 2024. 'I dealt with Lindsey for as long as I could. You could not say that I did not give him more than 300 million chances.'

In March, Buckingham reunited with another Fleetwood Mac member, Mick Fleetwood.
The guitarist sat in on studio sessions with the band's namesake drummer, 78, who is working on a new solo album.
Swedish producer Carl Falk spoke about the mini reunion on Threads.
'Slightly unreal moment to sit with Lindsey Buckingham and Mick Fleetwood to play Lindsey the album we have been working on,' he wrote. 'And to see his genuine happiness for Mick to finally do his own album and offering to play guitar and to sing on it. Can't wait to finish this one.'

Associated Press COOPERSTOWN, NY (AP) — For CC Sabathia, getting elected into the Baseball Hall of Fame was much easier than actually getting to the Hall of Fame. Sabathia, whose career spanned 19 seasons with the Cleveland Indians, Milwaukee Brewers and New York Yankees, was voted in on his first year of eligibility. Getting to Cooperstown for Hall of Fame weekend activities to be capped by his induction Sunday proved a tad more difficult. 'It was an adventure,' Sabathia said Saturday. Sabathia, wife Amber and their four children left their Alpine, New Jersey, home at about 4 p.m. Thursday. They traveled in two vehicles as is their family custom and were about 75 miles (120 kilometers) into their 177-mile trip when things got interesting. 'We stopped to get food. Everything's going great,' Sabathia said. 'We tried to get on the on-ramp on (Route) 17 and the car just stopped. I was behind her (Amber). Most of the time when we're driving, I'm gone. I'm never driving behind her, but for some reason I was taking my time riding behind her.' Sabathia had a clear view of what was happening. They called for assistance. The family piled into Sabathia's car and returned home to grab another vehicle as a tow truck towed their broken-down Escalade back to Alpine. The Sabathias arrived in Cooperstown at about midnight. What should have been a drive of about three hours became an eight-hour journey. 'It was pretty funny. I was taking pictures. My kids were doing TikToks and Amber was in the back like the super serious person she is getting everything done,' Sabathia said. 'People were honking at us and recognizing us on the side of the road. It was fun for us. 'For her it was a nightmare.' Comic-Con gets animated with 'Coyote vs. Acme' and 'Bad Girls 2' updates
SAN DIEGO -- SAN DIEGO (AP) — Comic-Con is headed to space for its third day. But first, it got animated. Fans got a sneak peek at 'Coyote vs. ACME,' a hybrid live-action and animated project that was shelved by Warner Bros. in a cost-cutting move but will get a theatrical release in 2026. The movie features John Cena, who is also a star of the DC series 'Peacemaker,' which will have a presentation Saturday in Comic-Con's massive Hall H. Animation was the theme of Hall H Saturday morning, with the cast of 'Bad Guys 2' teasing new footage from the movie and describing how they recorded their characters. Marc Maron, who plays Snake, joked he asked to be tied up as he performed his lines on the floor. 'The depth of the character should read a little more this time,' he said. The film, based on the graphic novel series by Aaron Blabey, introduces a new crew of animal criminals, the Bad Girls played by Danielle Brooks, Natasha Lyonne and Maria Bakalova. Saturday's biggest presentations at the pop culture extravaganza will be for 'Project Hail Mary,' which stars Ryan Gosling on an interstellar mission to save humanity, and for the next series in the 'Star Trek' franchise. 'Project Hail Mary" is an adaptation of the book by Martin Weir, whose book 'The Martian' was adapted by Ridley Scott in 2015. Wile E. Coyote is getting his day in court – and theaters. The stars of 'Coyote vs. Acme' delivered a rousing presentation of a movie that at one point wasn't going to be released. The underdog story – both of the movie and Coyote –- was a running theme of the panel. But rather than direct ire at Warner Bros., the real-world studio that shelved the project, the panel focused on the fictional Acme Corp. 'This is purely an Acme decision … and I am saying this for legal purposes,' moderator Paul Scheer said at the start of the panel. The movie is a hybrid of animation and live action and is based on a 1990 New Yorker article that satirized a legal complaint filed by Coyote against Acme, the maker of the TNT, detonators, rocket shoes, catapults and other products that consistently backfire during the Coyote's fruitless attempts to catch the Roadrunner. Laughter filled Hall H, the massive 6,000-seat venue as fans watched a montage of Coyote being blown up, flattened and falling into chasms in a scene set to Johnny Cash's cover of 'Hurt.' Coyote is replaying the moments in his lair when an ad for a personal injury lawyer appears on TV. They also played six minutes of the movie, including a scene of opening statements in the case in which Coyote's lawyer, Will Forte, accidentally unleashes a rocket skate into the courtroom, setting Coyote and the judge's robes on fire. John Cena plays a slick Acme lawyer who wins over the jury, which includes a cartoon character, quickly. Forte said he didn't think the movie would ever get to audiences. 'I'm pretty speechless. You think back to the journey that this movie has taken. I had kind of given up hope at a certain point,' Forte said. At one point, his comments were interrupted by a man playing an Acme lawyer who stormed into Hall H with cease-and-desist letters. Director Dave Green said the movie conforms to famed animator Chuck Jones' rules for the struggle between the Coyote and Roadrunner, which include the bird always staying on the road and the Coyote being ultimately more humiliated than hurt when he falls, is crushed or gets blown up by TNT. The movie, which features cameos from numerous Looney Tunes characters like Foghorn Leghorn, Tweety and Bugs Bunny, will be released on Aug. 28, 2026. Ketchup Entertainment teamed up with Warner Bros. on the film and in the release of 'The Day the Earth Blew Up: A Looney Tunes Movie.' An estimated 135,000 people — many in costumes — are expected to attend Comic-Con 2025, which runs through Sunday in downtown San Diego.

When Blair requested a Titleist driver, Nic told him to "get his shoulders loose" and hit a few shots so they could measure his clubhead speed. The 34-year-old, enjoying the moment, agreed, swung a few pro shots and acted along. At one point, Blair's friend, who was recording the whole incident, asked Nic to guess the Tour pro's handicap. "I'll say probably one ... a regular one," Nic replied as shown in the video posted on Blair's Instagram handle. "I'm a 2.5 so," he added. "So you think he's better than you?" the friend questioned further. "Umm no," Nic replied with confidence. The moment was pure comedy. Blair is known as one of the shortest hitters on Tour.
