Gates open to spectators 90 minutes before the start of the first game each day. Spectators are also encouraged to bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on the hill overlooking center and right field.
All four state championship games will stream exclusively at IHSAAtv.org via pay-per-view for $15 per game or $20 for all games.

Spartans left off preseason US LBM Coaches Poll
Not a single coach has Michigan State football in their preseason top 25. The official preseason US LBM Coaches Poll was released on Monday, with Michigan State failing to receive a single vote in the poll. Michigan State enters this upcoming season as a projected bottom half team in the Big Ten so it should come as no surprise that the Spartans didn't receive any votes in the preseason poll. Michigan State is looking to snap a three-year bowl drought, with the Spartans being the only Big Ten team to fail to reach the postseason in the last three seasons. Head coach Jonathan Smith is entering his second year on the job, leading the Spartans to a 5-7 record during his first season in East Lansing, Mich. The Spartans will open the 2025 season on August 29 against Western Michigan in a home matchup from Spartan Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET and will be televised on FS1. Jackson State lone HBCU in FCS poll
The 2025 STATS PERFORM FCS Poll is out and HBCU national champion Jackson State is the only one in the top State, the reigning SWAC champion and Celebration Bowl winner, was ranked 17th in the 56-person poll. North Dakota State was the top-ranked school other HBCU football programs were listed in the receiving votes category. Defending MEAC champion South Carolina State, which went 9-3 last season including a loss to JSU in the Celebration Bowl, received 35 votes. It will play this season without reigning MEAC Offensive Player of the Year Eric Phoenix, who led the team as its starting quarterback. Tennessee State received 21 votes after a 9-4 season that included a three-way tie for the Ohio Valley/Big South Conference championship and an FCS playoff game. It will start this season under new head coach Reggie Barlow following the departure of Eddie George. The final HBCU in the receiving votes category was North Carolina Central. NC Central went 8-3 last season, with its loss to South Carolina State the only blemish in five conference State went 12-2 last season en route to its third SWAC title in four seasons and its fourth Celebration Bowl. It lost leading rusher Irv Mulligan but returns a solid cast of players including starting quarterback Jacobian Morgan and defensive tackle Jeremiah Williams, one of the final holdovers from the Deion Sanders Era. Popular college football podcast picks Spartans to exceed expectations in 2025
It's predictions season, and one popular college football podcast likes Michigan State to exceed expectations in 2025. Michigan State comes into this season looking to snap a three-year bowl drought, with the Spartans again pegged to be right around the bowl eligibility cutline. But for one popular college football podcast, Michigan State will easily surpass the six win threshold in 2025. The Undergrad CFB podcast released their game-by-game predictions for Michigan State next season and have the Spartans finishing 8-4 overall and 5-4 in Big Ten play. The popular podcast has the Spartans picking up notable wins over Boston College, UCLA, Indiana, Michigan and Iowa this season. I personally have some similar game-by-game predictions that I'll be releasing in the coming weeks ahead of the season. So this prediction from The Undergrad CFB account is not far off from my personal opinion, but definitely is higher on the Spartans than most of the national or regional media.
