Northmont City Schools sent News Center 7 the following statement: 'As soon as we became aware of allegations, we took swift action -- assigning the former staff member to home, directing them not to have any contact with students or staff, and prohibiting them from being on school property. After we placed Mr. Hunt on leave, we severed our employment relationship with him. We are cooperating fully with local law enforcement and will continue to do so.' Heck said Hunt worked for several districts in the area and was forced to resign from Vandalia Butler Schools in 2009 due to inappropriate contact with a student. On his application to Northmont City Schools, Heck said Hunt did not disclose that he had been involuntarily terminated from another job. Hunt is in jail on a $1 million bond.
