Liverpool launches new $150 jersey to mark Premier League title win as flans flock to buy
The new Champions range on Liverpool's website allows fans to purchase this season's game jerseys with gold numbering and lettering including 'Champions 20', as well as a range of t-shirt and hoodies.
The 'champions jerseys', which were worn by the Liverpool players and staff during the celebrations and feature a Premier League trophy print on the back are priced at $150/$113.
One of the designs sees the words 'Premier League Champions 2025 — Liverpool, Liverpool Top of the League' emblazoned on the front of the garment, while the other contains the words 'There's a Golden Sky — 2025 Premier League Winners'.
As well as commemorative shirts and hoodies, the club is also selling smaller items such as mugs, glassware, scarves and flags to mark the title win.

Heading into the weekend, Liverpool required just a point from its final five games of the season to secure the title, and the Reds got the job done at the first time of asking, thrashing Spurs 5-1.
Arne Slot's team fell behind to a Dominic Solanke header in the first half but goals from Luis Diaz, Alexis Mac Allister and Cody Gakpo handed the home team a 3-1 lead at half-time. Mohamed Salah made it 4-1 with his 33rd goal of the season before a Destiny Udogie own-goal completed the scoring.
Liverpool head coach Slot paid tribute to his predecessor, Jurgen Klopp, as he addressed fans inside Anfield after the game. 'It feels great. I don't think I want to say a lot. The only thing now is to send my appreciation to Jurgen Klopp,' Slot said, before getting fans involved with a chant of: "Jurgen Klopp, la la la la la!"

Slot later told Match of the Day: "The work Jurgen and Pep [Lijnders, Klopp's assistant] did - the culture, work-rate, quality - was outstanding. I am 99.9 per cent sure that if I pick up my phone there will be a message from Jurgen.
"So many moments in the season the two of us have had contact. I think he showed last season what a wonderful human being he is by introducing me. But what mattered most is the team he left behind that was able to win the trophy."
Slot said he never anticipated anything other than victory against Spurs, despite going a goal behind: 'The way we arrived on the bus, everyone was thinking there is no way we were going to lose this game. Conceding first made it difficult, but they always find a way to win.
'Incredibly proud, but not only of the players. Everyone knows what effort they've put in over the last few years. Everyone standing here, you [the fans] should give them a wonderful applause as well. Let's forget that it's the second [title] in 35 years, it's the second in five years.'

Wales defender Woodham signs for Liverpool
Wales defender Lily Woodham has joined Liverpool following her departure from Seattle Reign. Woodham, who started all Wales' games at Euro 2025, left Reign over the weekend having joined the National Women's Soccer League club in 2024. The 24-year-old left-back spent most of the 2024-25 season on loan at Crystal Palace, making 20 appearances in the Women's Super League. Woodham returns to the English top flight on a permanent basis after joining a Reds side who finished seventh last season. "I'm a fan of Liverpool so it's a dream come true really," Woodham told the Merseyside club's website. "I'm really excited to meet everyone. It already feels like a home from home and everyone has been so nice to me and welcomed me. "I just want to bring everything I can to the team and always give my all in games and training." Woodham, who is Liverpool's fourth signing of the summer, joins fellow Wales internationals Gemma Evans and Ceri Holland at the Merseyside club. The length of Woodham's contract has not been specified. She moved to America after six years at Reading, while she has also played for Bristol City and Charlton Athletic. Sunderland set to land Granit Xhaka from Leverkusen
Sunderland have reached an agreement with Bayer Leverkusen for the signing of Swiss midfielder Granit Xhaka (h/t journalist Fabrizio Romano). The deal is worth around €20 million, with the player expected to sign a contract that will run until 2027. The 32-year-old has already been given the green light to complete his move to the Stadium of Light. Xhaka, who spent several years in England with Arsenal, is now set to return to the Premier League after a strong spell in Germany. The Swiss international helped Leverkusen to a historic 2023/24 campaign, where they went unbeaten in the Bundesliga to lift the title. He also played a vital role in the club's DFB Pokal success that same season. Xhaka will boost Sunderland's survival hopes Sunderland have been active in the summer transfer window as they aim to remain in the Premier League next season. Xhaka's arrival adds even more depth to their midfield and shows the club's intent to build a squad strong enough to avoid relegation. Manager Regis Le Bris has already welcomed several new signings, but adding Xhaka to the squad is a major statement. The former Arsenal man had attracted interest from several top clubs, including AC Milan and Juventus. However, the midfielder had a strong preference for a return to the Premier League, which helped Sunderland secure the deal. Xhaka offers leadership and experience that could prove vital in a long top-flight campaign. The move is expected to be completed shortly, with only medicals and final paperwork left before an official announcement.

Bees 'hold all the cards' on Wissa's future
Much has been written about Yoane Wissa and his apparent desire to go on strike to force a move away from Brentford. We will only know the truth when we see if Wissa turns up for training this week. One thing I am sure about, though, is that Brentford never would have promised Wissa a year ago that he could leave this summer. Everybody knew this would be the time when Bryan Mbeumo would move on and the club would not have agreed to let them both go at the same time. Things may have been different if record signing Igor Thiago, who barely played last campaign following a pre-season injury, had been fit. Last year would have been the Brazilian's settling-in season, but as he is a year behind schedule, Wissa's Premier League experience is still very much needed. In the past, Brentford sold players way too cheaply, but no longer. We hold all the cards here, with a one-year option in the club's favour meaning Wissa is still effectively under contract for two more seasons. However, the Bees always say every player has a valuation and if that is met then we are open to selling, but that could be why a figure of £50m has been mentioned - to put off clubs. Thiago is the main striking alternative but winger Kevin Schade could play through the middle. However, if Wissa goes then another experienced Premier League striker will be needed. This season is hard to predict, as nobody knows whether Keith Andrews is a good manager - only time will tell. Losing Christian Norgaard, in particular, was a massive blow but Jordan Henderson is a good and clever replacement.
