Sally Dynevor's cancer experience has made her embrace life more.
The Coronation Street actress was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2009 - when her character on the ITV1 soap Sally Webster also learnt she had the disease, who has since recovered - but after having a lumpectomy and six months of chemotherapy, she made a full recovery.
Sally's 63-year-old husband, actor Tim Dynevor, was diagnosed with cancer in 2023 and is now cancer-free, and now the pair are making sure to fill their life with adventure.
In an interview with the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "Going through something like that makes you want to embrace life all the more.
"We'd love to do more travelling. We're trying really hard to just do lots of lovely things while we can.
"You just don't know what's around the corner, do you? That's why we've decided we should do a couple of our bucket list things.

"We all put stuff off and think, 'It's too expensive, I'm not going to do that.'
"But we're in our 60s now and this is the time to be doing these things."
The 62-year-old star - who raised £100,000 for Prevent Breast Cancer after she trekked up to Mount Everest base camp, Nepal, in 2019 - feels "nervous" ahead of her mammoth challenge of climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, in October with her 28-year-old son Sam, in aid of the charity.
She said: "I am quite nervous about it. We're camping in the middle of nowhere and it's very cold when you get up to the top.
"But I'm determined and I'm definitely going to do my very best to get to the summit.
"I know people struggle with altitude sickness, but we've got a great guide and I think it's important to push yourself out of your comfort zone.
"Life is exciting when you challenge yourself. It's a big wide world out there."
Sally said her cancer diagnosis in 2009 affected Tim, Sam and her daughters, Phoebe, 30, and Hattie, 21.
The 2022 Dancing on Ice contestant admitted: "That's one of the worst things - the impact on families. It affects everyone in your circle."
And Sally hopes she and Tim will now have good health for the rest of their lives.
The star said: "You walk out and you just feel so grateful.
"While it's been awful, we look at it in a positive way and think, 'We've both been through it now, that's our blip.'

Annies earned great reviews for its homely dishes like steaks, pies, hotpots and afternoon teas, securing a top spot on Tripadvior's Manchester recommendations, even being named one of Tripadvisor's UK 'Best of the Best' restaurants last year. It also scooped the People's Choice award for best tea room at the Manchester Tourism Awards, cementing its place as a city favourite. Neither Jennie nor Chris have disclosed the reason for the restaurant's closure, but patrons have been swift to express their affection for the celebrated eatery. Fans were devastated by the sudden closure, with one writing "This is very sad news. One of our favourite places we've been too when us girls meet up - we've had afternoon tea, Sunday lunch, theatre and breakfast. You fit in nicely what ever time of our occasion." Another sad customer wrote: "It was the only place I felt comfortable in. The food was delicious, the decor amazing, and the whole place just had a wonderful feeling about it. I will miss Annie's terribly. It was also such a little busy place." The news comes just days after East Herts-based pan-Asian chain PEACH also announced it was shutting both its restaurants in Bishop's Stortford and Hertford after five years. Taking to Instagram, she confirmed the end of her time in the premises. Can't wait to update and see you all very soon xxx. Em." Emma previously took to Facebook and addressed leaving the tearooms behind. She wrote: "So, it's true…. My time at the Tea rooms has unfortunately come to an end. "I decided to leave due to the new lease not suiting my requirements. It was verbally agreed that I stay until the end of summer." But she's since been told that she needs to leave 'a lot sooner,' and her final trading day was set for June 29. She continued: "I want to thank you all from the bottom of my heart for the outpouring of love I've received over the last couple of days. It's been extremely humbling and heartwarming to have the support from all of you, you have no idea what it has meant to me. History of the Coronation Street set By Jake Penkethman, TV Reporter 1960-1968 - Whilst the Coronation Street set remained on Quay Street for 53 years, it actually had three separate studio sites. The first was an entirely indoor wooden set which was used for the first eight years of filming. This encompassed a replica of the Street built entirely indoors. The set was known to be awkward for actors to use and the houses brought to three quarter scale. 1968-1982 - In 1968, the addition of an outdoor set was created to adjoin the existing indoor set which was still used for filming right up until 1982. The set was used only when required with many of the show's cast reportedly hating it and describing it as 'the coldest place on Earth'. 1982-2013 - A brand new set was officially constructed in 1982 and was almost built fully to scale but still only permitted for one car to drive down the cobbled street. The house were purpose-built using reclaimed Salford brick in order to give it the most authentic feel possible. During these years, some of the show's buildings were adapted to allow for both interior and exterior filming at the same time. These locations included Elliott's Butchers, Barlow's Buys, Prima Doner and Webster's Autos. The final scenes to be recorded on this site occurred in December 2013. Elsewhere, Simon's side-hustle was revealed, with the soap favourite getting extra cash flow through Cameo. Cameo allows Simon to send personalised video messages to his fans, whether it be for a birthday or anniversary. And he's charging £37.50-per-video on the platform, which says fans will: 'Have the chance to customize your request for Simon Gregson, like asking them to mention inside jokes, share words of wisdom, or work in their signature catchphrases.' 4

Corrie, Emmerdale and EastEnders cancelled in huge schedule shake-up
Soap fans hoping to get their weekly Thursday and Friday soap fix will be disappointed tonight as all three major soaps, Coronation Street, Emmerdale and EastEnders are off air Soap fans will be left disappointed tonight and tomorrow night, as all three major soaps have been taken off air in a huge schedule shake-up. Viewers are normally treated to an hour long episode of Emmerdale on Thursdays, along with a 30 minute trip to Albert Square with EastEnders. However, tonight all soaps have been taken off air. It's bad news for Coronation Street fans too, as although the soap doesn't usually air on Thursdays, it'll be taken off air on Friday night (July 3). EastEnders fans got their two hour dose of the soap earlier in the week as they were treated to a double bill on both Monday and Tuesday. Many eager fans took to iPlayer to watch the soap early, while those tuning in at 7pm had to switch over to BBC Two. The change is down to a summer of sports, with Wimbledon taking over the BBC schedules for two weeks. However, it's not the only sport taking over, as the BBC are also showing coverage of the Women's Euros as the football teams battle it out in the group stages. ITV will also be hosting the coverage of a number of Euros games. Tomorrow night, they'll be broadcasting live from Sweden as Portugal take on Spain. On Friday, they'll be showing coverage of Germany's match against Poland, meaning Corrie fans will have to wait until next week until their next trip to Weatherfield. Unfortunately, it's a longer wait than normal as soaps won't be back on air until next Wednesday. It's good news for EastEnders fans however, as they'll be treated to a double bill once again when Wednesday finally comes. Emmerdale fans will have one less day to wait, as the soap will return at 7.30 next Tuesday (July 8). Corrie fans will have one extra day to wait, as the usual Monday episode will be cancelled due to more football on the schedule. However, their regular hour-long trip to Weatherfield will resume on Wednesday at 7.30. The schedule shake-ups aren't the only huge change for the ITV soaps. On Monday (June 30) ITV started releasing full episodes of both shows on YouTube at 6am, as well as ITVX. The official Coronation Street Instagram page announced: "Soap fans, rejoice! "Starting tomorrow, full episodes will be available on YouTube from 7am — the same day they air on TV!" The update included an image showing Emmerdale and Corrie characters posing beneath logos of their respective soaps.
