A look at some news from the last week about the NFC West rival Rams that Cardinals fans should know.
We have made it through another week of the NFL offseason and are 10 weeks away from the first Sunday of the regular season. As such, it is time to check in with the Arizona Cardinals' division rivals in the NFC West — the LA Rams, San Francisco 49ers and Seattle Seahawks — to see what has been going on with them.
Below are a few stories about the Rams from the last week the Cardinals fans should know about.
Jared Verse tagged as 'future of the league'
Former NFL left tackle Terron Armstead, who retired this offseason after a 12-year career, recently raved about Verse, calling him the future of the league with Aidan Hutchinson of the Detroit Lions. He couldn't believe Verse's incredible strength.
Training camp sold out
The Rams, like the Cardinals, require fans reserve a ticket to attend their training camp practices. The Rams practice at Loyola Maramount University. Their eight practices had ticket reservations "sold" out in under two hours.
Minicamp highlights
The Rams went a week longer in their offseason program than the Cardinals, but they held minicamp in Maui. Catch some highlights from minicamp week.
One stat for Stafford to improve
Rams quarterback Matthew Stafford is one of the league's best. However, his red zone numbers aren't impressive.
Kobie Turner cites one area defense needs to improve
The Rams' defense is incredibly talented. But they did struggle in one area at times. DT Kobie Turner, entering his third NFL season after logging 17 sacks in two years, cited the need to cut down on allowing big runs. If they do that this year, "the sky's the limit."
