BJP takes out huge Tiranga Yatre in Hubballi
The Tiranga Yatre, which began at Moorusavir Mutt Ground, concluded at B.R. Ambedkar Circle, after covering the thoroughfares of the city.
Sri Gurusiddha Rajayogindra Swami of Moorusavir Mutt, Union Minister Pralhad Joshi, MLAs Arvind Bellad, Mahesh Tenginakai and M.R. Patil, MLC S.V. Sankanur flagged off the Tiranga Yatre at Morursavir Mutt Ground.
Subsequently, students of schools and colleges, ex-servicemen, people from different walks of life and BJP members took part in the march holding and waving the tricolour.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Pralhad Joshi said that after the terror attack at Pahalgam, the Indian army gave a befitting reply to the Pakistani terrorists.
'We all should appreciate the bravery and sacrifice of our soldiers. This rally has been organised to send a message to all those in the army that 'we are with you',' he said.
Mr. Joshi said that Pakistan has been given a big blow by the Indian army which targeted the terrorist bases and training camps.
A host of BJP leaders led the Tiranga Yatre during which the slogan Bharat Mata Ki Jai reverberated in the air till the conclusion of the yatre.

The court said that the prosecution had failed to prove its case, including the allegation that the motorcycle on which the bomb was allegedly strapped belonged to Ms. Thakur. Speaking to media persons outside Bhopal's Raja Bhuj International Airport, Ms. Thakur dubbed the court's verdict a 'victory of religion and truth'. She reiterated her claims that, during her time in jail, she had been 'pressurised and tortured' into naming several senior political and social leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who was the Chief Minister of Gujarat at the time. He said that the Congress party will soon release shocking data related to the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Speaking at the Leaders' Meet organised by the Thrissur District Congress Committee here on Sunday, Mr. Venugopal accused the BJP of election manipulation and criticised the CPI(M) for allegedly colluding with them in tampering with the voters' list in Kerala. 'It is shameful that while the CPI(M) supports Congress's fight against electoral fraud at the national level, they engage in voter list manipulation in the State,' he said. He also criticised the BJP's double standards, comparing their behaviour to running with the hare and hunting with the hounds. 'The most recent example of this hypocrisy was seen in Chhattisgarh. Only Amit Shah knows the logic behind handing over the case related to the arrest of nuns to the NIA. Similarly, only he seems to understand the BJP's claim that they intervened to secure the nuns' release,' Mr. Venugopal remarked. He called for a decisive battle against election malpractice, stating that the time has come to confront and expose such corruption. The function was presided over by DCC president Joseph Tajet and included the distribution of ID cards to ward presidents.
