Future of Channel 4 comedy series with big name host revealed after four series
Although it hasn't been officially green lit by Channel 4, the comedy show is set to return for it's fifth series, with filming reportedly take place next year.

The most recent series, which aired in July last year, was filmed back in 2023.
The delay in filming the next instalment is reportedly down to diary dates but the much-loved show is still very much on Channel 4's programming slate.
I Literally Just Told You sees four contestants battle it out for a cash prize of up to £25,000 by answering questions that have been written live while the show is being filmed.
Two contestants are axed during the episode, leaving two finalists to face off, with questions steadily increasing from £250 to £2,000.
The questions can present themselves in the form of anything that happens on the show to a celebrity cameo or an off the cuff joke.
The show first aired on Channel 4 in December 2021 and immediately became a hit with viewers, with 24 episodes having aired so far.
It was created by Blue Peter's Richard Bacon and is narrated by none other than Loose Women's Judi Love.
A previous episode of I Literally Just Told You saw a contestant almost left empty-handed after a mistake.
Sainsbury's worker Eddy, from Glasgow, lost out on the £18,000 when he could not give pop star Ariana Grande 's age - although there had been an error.
Comedian Jimmy, 51, who recently asked security to remove an audience member from his gig, 'owned the mistake' - as he later forked up the prize money.

After being brought on stage at one of Jimmy's gigs, Eddy was surprised with a giant cheque.
The 8 Out Of 10 Cats host said: 'Now I've got something to tell you, I've got something to confess.
'You lost the money on a question – it was Ariana Grande's age.
'We talked about her age but we never gave you the specific age so we messed up.

'And when you mess up in life, you've got to own your mistakes. Here's a cheque for £18,000.'
This isn't the only show of Jimmy's that is returning, as 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown returns to Channel 4 tonight (July 25).
The long-running show sparked fears it would not be returning after production was halted last year.
The comedy's production company Zeppotron had been told no new episodes would be filmed.
A spokesperson for Channel 4 said at the time: 'We have already shot episodes which are ready to air.
'To keep the show current we will shoot further episodes nearer transmission.'
However, 8 Out Of 10 Cats Does Countdown is now returning to the studio this month to record a brand new series.

The new pornography taskforce will propose legislation this autumn aimed at banning a type of 'barely legal' content produced by the porn star Bonnie Blue, the Guardian has learned. The proposed action by the independent pornography taskforce, launched last month by the Conservative peer Gabby Bertin, comes in response to the broadcast of the Channel 4 documentary 1000 Men and Me: The Bonnie Blue Story. The programme followed the performer for six months and included her claim to have had sex with 1,057 clients over the course of 12 hours. Visa and Smirnoff are among a number of businesses that have pulled online advertisements from streaming of the documentary, after reviewing the content. The film was condemned by the children's commissioner for England, Dame Rachel de Souza, for 'glamorising and normalising' extreme pornography. The documentary also includes footage of Tia Billinger, whose stage name is Bonnie Blue, in a classroom preparing to film an orgy with a group of models dressed in school uniform; the performers acknowledge that they have been selected because they look very young. Lady Bertin said she planned to lodge amendments to the crime and policing bill in the autumn to make it illegal for online platforms to host any content that could encourage child sexual abuse, including pornography filmed by adults dressed as children. 'This content is pushing at the boundaries. We will be trying to address the 'barely legal' aspect legislatively,' she said. The Online Safety Act charged the regulator Ofcom with monitoring whether pornography sites are protecting UK viewers from encountering illegal material involving child sexual abuse and extreme content, such as portrayals of rape, bestiality and necrophilia. However, other forms of harmful pornography that are regulated offline (in cinemas, for example) are not subject to similar restrictions online. This regulatory anomaly means adults role-playing as children to create pornography that appears close to child sexual abuse imagery is not prohibited online. Bonnie Blue's content showcases violence against women as entertainment and allows sexist ideas that women are 'lesser' than men to go unchecked.' Visa's advertisements were placed by a third-party agency, but the company requested that they be removed from online streaming of the Channel 4 documentary after staff viewed it and judged that the content did not align with its internal guidelines. Staff at the drinks company Diageo are assessing how a Smirnoff advertisement was cleared to appear during online transmission of the show, and have also subsequently pulled their advertising from streaming of the programme. An Ofcom spokesperson said the regulator was assessing the documentary and would decide whether to launch a formal investigation. The policing minister, Diana Johnson, said last week that she would discuss the ease with which children could access the documentary on Channel 4's website with ministerial colleagues. Channel 4 requires users to be 16 to register an account, but there is no age-verification process, so children could lie about their age. A Channel 4 spokesperson said the observational film was designed to provoke debate. 'The film looks at how Bonnie Blue has gained worldwide attention and earned millions of pounds in the last year, exploring changing attitudes to sex, success, porn and feminism in an ever-evolving online world. Director Victoria Silver puts a number of challenges to Bonnie throughout the documentary on the example she sets and how she is perceived, and the film clearly lays bare the tactics and strategies she uses, with the audience purposefully left to form their own opinions.'

Series seven of the beloved Channel 4 show kicked off on Sunday night as 14 famous faces were put through their paces. Chief instructor Billy Billingham and his team Jason Fox, Rudy Reyes and Chris Oliver also returned to our screens to put the celebrities through it. Celebrities taking part include former glamour model Rebecca Loos, Tasha Ghouri, Harry Clark, Michaella McCollum, Lucy Spraggan and Adam Collard. For their first extraction challenge, the celebrities were forced to throw themselves into freezing cold water before swimming a checkpoint. They had an allocated time to reach that point, where they'd be collected by a nearby boat. The Channel 4 military reality show opened with the 14 celebrity recruits hooded and standing on a breakwater, before they were asked for their identities by chief instructor Billy Billingham – who told many of the celebrities 'don't grin at me'. He then led them on two tasks, the first to plunge 26ft into the water and swim to intercept a boat, which picked them up, and the second to rescue three hostages from a building before blowing it up with a grenade. Before the second challenge began, Spearritt, 44, handed over her number tag to directing staff, telling them 'I'm done, I'm sorry, I've reached a point' – and in a pre-recorded interview which was played after her withdrawal, she said 'I don't think I'll go on the first day' adding she 'wouldn't forgive myself'. During the task, Spence, who is best known for Sky TV show Pineapple Dance Studios, threw a grenade into the building while it still had two hostages in it, and afterwards told the directing staff he wished to withdraw, and was given a second chance to put his armband back on, but turned it down. Spence said: 'I want to do an immediate withdrawal, I just don't have the conviction, and I feel as though I'm not dedicated enough.' He was told that he 'hadn't even started', but Spence replied 'that's what I mean'. After the first task, former model Rebecca Loos was pulled in by directing staff after she gave up during the swimming challenge, who asked her to open up on her alleged affair with footballer Sir David Beckham, who she worked for as a personal assistant, during the interrogation. In an interview before the first task, former Drag Race UK star Bimini Bon Boulash said the show would be 'a piece of piss' after growing up as a queer person in Norfolk. After the second task, former Watford striker Troy Deeney, who also threw a grenade into the building before clearing the hostages, was pulled in by the instructors, where he opened up on physical abuse he and his mother received from his late father. The show sees celebrities enter SAS training, where they are not eliminated and are instead culled by the directing staff or able to withdraw themselves, with those who remain at the end declared the winners. The rest of the celebrity recruits are made up of ex-drug mule Michaella McCollum, former footballer Adebayo Akinfenwa, Strictly Come Dancing 2025 runner-up Tasha Ghouri, former The Traitors winner Harry Clark, rapper Lady Leshurr, boxer Conor Benn, singer Lucy Spraggan, and ex-Love Island contestants Chloe Burrows and Adam Collard.
