Ever since ChatGPT's image generation feature rolled out to free users a couple of weeks ago, creativity has exploded. One of the quirkiest trends to catch on involves uploading pet photos and asking the AI to reimagine them as people. It's taken over Reddit, TikTok, and Twitter, where users are proudly sharing side-by-side shots of their real-life dogs, cats, even parrots, alongside their new AI-human alter egos.

In one viral Reddit post, a user revealed what their golden retriever might look like as a person. The AI output? A soft-smiling, sweater-wearing guy who looked like he gave great hugs.
