Here's a range of views from supporters, who shared their thoughts with the News & Star on social media...
I think it's epic and hopefully one we remember for all the right reasons (@MarkWard18)
I quite like it! Certainly better than the home kit for the last couple of seasons...this one has a bit of soul (@Keano1981)
Top class (@carlisletom)
I really like it, but it won't be for everyone (@Tomw0892)
I like it but I know it's gonna be like Marmite! (@guy_moffat)
Love it! (@KyleDixon30)
I like it! Mine is purchased (@Dean19921928)
Carlisle United reveal new home kit
I like it, it's distinctive and I prefer the deckchair stripes to some of the more abstract designs we've had. It should also shift plenty of associated merchandise (@mlgraham73)

It's a thing of beauty. I love the creativity. Our kits are so much better than the boring generic ones (@northumbrian_)
If it's worn by a winning team I don't mind. Mine is in the post (@adydent67)
I thought we would move away from the toothpaste colours...hmm (@BruceVander)
Too much red for me. I'm hoping it will look better in real life. The quality looks good and I quite like the fox watermark in the red material (@JHallHDI)
Good strip to get promoted in (@RobertPorthous1)

I like it but would have preferred that as the away kit and a simple classic blue as the home kit - more Aqua Fresh than Aqua Pura! I am old though. (@BackoSkiddaw)

Horrendous. That's not a Carlisle shirt for me. Way too much red and white, the back looks half finished and the design is a shocker. Have we ever had a striped home shirt before? (@ReiverPhil)
Leaked away kit is much better, not the biggest fan of the home kit (@andrewhoddie)
Fans queue in the rain to buy new Carlisle United home kit
Yeah, it's ok, certainly distinctive but will get toothpaste comments no doubt. Regarding the away kit, they don't seem to want to move away from last year's effort very much (@Rich_W27)
It's not to everyone's taste but it won't matter if we're winning matches and topping the league. I really like it (@karl72465)

Awful (@granttheone)
If whomever had kept it simple? Blue and white deckchair would have been epic, they just had to put the red in and made it a mess (again) (@bruntonblue10)
Too much red not enough blue. One of the worst strips for years imho (@frostie_)
If the stripes went down the back and if the shorts were white that could've been unbelievable I think (Hayden McGarel)
I like it (Lee Rotherham)
It will sell but not for me. Can't wait until we get a blue strip again. (Peter Scholes(
I think it's mint (Matthew Roberts)
Like it. Purchased (David Rigg)
Too many stripes, bad for the eyes (Margaret Wright)

It's like the old deck chair away kit only different colour. Horrible! (Christine Young)
Absolute shocker (Brian Johnstone)
I think it's a grower. I like it better now than when it was leaked a couple of days ago. (Matt Dickinsone)
It's distinctive unlike any other club's top. Let's make it a memorable season in it. (Paul Hal Irving)
Not for me doesn't really matter what they wear as long as they get promoted (Mally Poskett)
It's very marmite. I dislike it now but by the end of the season it'll have grown on me. (@Libraise)
As classy as a hot dog (Callum McLennan)
The kits are on sale in the Blues Store and online (Image: News & Star)

Where did the red come from? I don't like it (David Drinkald)
Like it (Graeme Stead)
Not a fan prefer traditional blue shirt but as long as we win I don't care (Phil Rickerby)
Wouldn't be happy as the sponsor as their name almost disappears in it but I rather like it (Andrew Lapping)
Way too much red! (Gary Parkin)
Wouldn't matter what the shirt was like there's always the moaners lol (Steven Shaw)
Doesn't really matter, we all love our club so will still buy it anyway (Adrian McGonigle)

Chelsea agree deal for Dortmund's Gittens
Jamie Gittens is set to join Chelsea from Borussia Dortmund (LLUIS GENE) Chelsea are set to add England under-21 international winger Jamie Gittens to their forward line after agreeing a deal with Borussia Dortmund, according to reports on Saturday. Sky Sports said an agreement has been reached between the clubs, who are both competing at the Club World Cup in the United States. Advertisement The Blues will reportedly pay up to 65 million euros (£55 million, $76 million) for the 20-year-old, who had been in Chelsea's academy as a youth player. Gittens eventually moved to Manchester City's academy before signing for Dortmund in 2022. He made 107 appearances for the German giants, scoring 17 goals, 12 of which came in the Bundesliga and Champions League last season. Chelsea were in the market to bolster their wide options after refusing the chance to sign Manchester United's Jadon Sancho on a permanent deal after his loan spell at Stamford Bridge. Mykhailo Mudryk also remains provisionally suspended by the English Football Association after failing a drugs test. Advertisement Gittens would be Chelsea's fourth signing of the summer, joining striker Liam Delap, midfielder Dario Essugo and defender Mamadou Sarr. Brazilian rising star Estevao Willian, 18, will also join the Premier League giants after his Club World Cup campaign with Palmeiras. kca/jc

'90s Icon Sparks Mid-Life Crisis Buzz With New Song ‘Pretty Girls'
'90s Icon Sparks Mid-Life Crisis Buzz With New Song 'Pretty Girls' originally appeared on Parade. might not have gotten the reaction he was hoping for amid the release of his new song 'Pretty Girls.' Online critics didn't hold back with their opinions of his latest music, and some even suggested the Independence Day star might be having a 'mid-life crisis.' 'I think Will Smith is having a mid-life crisis. He's performing a new song in the middle of the street in LONDON. No energy, no response, Nada!' wrote one person on X. 'Will should have performed at Coachella.' Parade has reached out to Smith's reps for comment. In 'Pretty Girls,' Smith raps, 'It's a full house, better play your cards right / I'ma post your pic if you pose / Make one phone call, you in Vogue / Head, shoulders, knees, toes / Hold up, wait, pose.' He continues, 'I like BBLs / That stand for 'Bad b--ches link up' / Poppin in the club all night in the section / Picture perfect, I swear you perfection.' The tune has left its mark with listeners, but not in a good way. 🎬 SIGN UP for Parade's Daily newsletter to get the latest pop culture news & celebrity interviews delivered right to your inbox 🎬 'Somebody please remind Will Smith that he was not a good rapper in his 20s that's why he became an actor & he ain't no better at 56,' another person chimed in and shared on X. 'Unc needa put the mic down and go do a movie instantaneously.' A third person even mentioned the infamous Oscars slap when Smith assaulted comedian Chris Rock on stage after Rock made a joke about Jada Pinkett Smith. 'Will Smith used to be the pride of Philly, but lately I just feel like he's doing anything he can to stay relevant. I'm guessing casting directors won't touch him with a 10 foot pole after the Oscar slap,' the X user said. However, not everyone was blasting the Men In Black actor for his return to the world of music. 'Why a mid life crisis and not someone who is rich and can do what he wants?' one of his defenders added. 'Will Smith being 50 yrs old free and living his best life vs a 40+ yr old tweeting about him on Twitter.' Woman Accuses Her Husband of Being ‘Sleazy' After He Commented on Another Woman's Body — Others Think He Was Just Being Nice
A woman says her husband made a comment about another woman's body, and she thought it seemed 'sleazy' The woman shared the comment on a popular community site and asked other women if they would have also been 'offended' The post ultimately sparked much debate among the woman's fellow community membersA woman said she thinks her husband was being 'sleazy' about another woman's appearance — but is unsure if she's overreacting. The woman detailed her experience in the 'Am I Being Unreasonable?' forum on the U.K.-based community site a place where women can go to seek advice from other women about interpersonal dilemmas. In her post, the woman explained that she and her husband were recently in a store when they passed a woman in 'tight-fitting' pants, which the woman said were 'very flattering for her admittedly lovely backside.' The original poster (OP) then said that after she and her husband were out of earshot of the woman, her husband turned to her and asked if she could 'buy pants like that,' because he 'liked the view.' The OP went on to say that her husband knows she is 'self-conscious' about her weight and so 'wouldn't wear anything really tight.' 'I think he wasn't making an observation [about] her fashion choice, but was being sleazy about her appearance and made me feel bad in the process,' the OP continued. Never miss a story — sign up for to stay up-to-date on the best of what PEOPLE has to offer, from celebrity news to compelling human interest stories. 'Would you have been offended at this, too?' she asked her fellow community members at the end of her post. Many of the woman's fellow community members said they thought she was overthinking the comment — and some even said they thought her husband was trying to compliment her. 'I'd take this as a compliment. Your husband saw a style of pants that he thought would look flattering on you and tried to prompt you [to get them]. Buy the pants, OP … You never know, you might love how you look in them and see something that your husband sees!' one person said. 'He's telling you he thinks you have a nice body and should show it off. He is telling you he doesn't see what you see in yourself,' added someone else. However, others thought that the woman's husband could have handled the situation with more tact. The PEOPLE Puzzler crossword is here! How quickly can you solve it? Play now! 'I think it was a rude thing for your [husband] to say. It's one thing to notice another woman's arse — it's quite another to chat to your wife about it,' someone said, adding, 'If he genuinely thinks those pants would suit you, there would be a more appropriate time to suggest them to you. In direct comparison with another woman is never going to make you feel nice.' Read the original article on People
