‘Well organised': Shocking details emerge of alleged murder of Zivan Radmanovic in Bali
Chilling new details of the alleged murder of a Melbourne man in Bali earlier this month have emerged, including the weapon used in the alleged attack.
Australians Zivan Radmanovic and Sanar Ghanim were shot shortly after midnight on June 13 at a villa in Bali's south, in what is suspected to be linked to the Melbourne underworld crime syndicate.
Mr Radmanovic died at the scene and Mr Ghanim suffered injuries to his leg.
After a five-day manhunt for the alleged 'executers', three men, Midolmore Pasa Tupou, 27, Darcy Francesco Jenson, 27, and Mevlut Coskun, 22, were arrested in connection to the shooting.
Bali Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya told reporters on Thursday the alleged crime was 'well organised'.
Inspector General Adityajaya alleged the trio, known as the Bali 3, had 'planned the act (for) quite long', accusing them of playing key roles in the alleged murder.
He alleged 27-year-old Jenson was the mastermind of the attack, booking the villa where the shooting occurred, and supplying the tools, including a hammer to break into the villa.
He is also accused of providing transportation for the other alleged offenders, renting a white Toyota Fortuner and a Suzuki XL7, as well as purchasing ferry tickets from Java to Bali.
Police allege 22-year-old Coskun and 26-year-old Tupou were the shooters in the attack, with Tupou reportedly purchasing the firearm and disposing of a motorbike used as a getaway vehicle.
Coskun is alleged to have helped dispose of the vehicle and purchased clothing for the attack.
During the investigation into the alleged murder, police recovered several pieces of evidence in the villa, including two bullet fragments, six bullet casings and 38 bullet shards.
Police also claimed to have found the gun used in the alleged attack, which was dumped alongside two magazines with bullets and an empty magazine in a river in Tabanan about 700m from the villa.
In a press conference on Thursday, police showed off the weapon in an evidence bag, as well as the sledgehammer allegedly used to break and enter the villa.
Police were able to identify the trio by tracking the purchase of the sledgehammer to a store, later linking them to their hired getaway vehicles.
Police are yet to establish a motive behind the alleged attack, however believe the men have links to the Melbourne underworld.
'We are still investigating their motive and continue cross-checking the facts,' Inspector General Adityajaya said.
If the trio are charged and convicted under Article 340, they could face the death penalty.

Major changes to speed cameras hitting one Aussie state
Drivers across one Aussie state will be forced to exercise further caution while driving on two major stretches of highway after state-government approved changes to speed camera functions come into effect on Tuesday. The NSW Minns Labor Government announced on Monday both light and heavy vehicles would receive penalties for speeding at two sites on two major NSW highways as part of a trial which has expanded the ability for standard traffic cameras to ping speeding light vehicles for the first time. Until recently, 'average speed' cameras have only been used in NSW to detect the speeds of heavy vehicles like buses and semi-trailers, but this will expand on Tuesday to fall in line with the procedures of every other state and territory and include small vehicles like cars and bikes. The trial cameras are located on the Pacific and Hume highways in regional NSW, which disproportionately bears two thirds of the state road toll despite being home to a third of the population. In the first week of the two month 'warning period' in which drivers would be formally cautioned rather than fined, one in every 122 cars and motorbikes were detected speeding on the Pacific and Hume Highways. Drivers were still fined occasionally during this period, but only if they were caught exceeding the speed limit by over 30km/hr. By the end of the seventh week, there was a notable increase in improved behaviour, with recorded speeding light vehicles dropping to one in every 235 on the Pacific Highway and one in every 194 on the Hume. Minister for Roads and Regional Transport Jenny Aitchison said the severity of the road toll has been – and remains – a major point of focus for the Minns Labor Government. 'Speeding contributes to around 42 per cent of road fatalities every year and so far this year, speeding has contributed to 33 per cent of all road fatalities. That's 59 lives lost due to dangerous driving, just this year,' Ms Aitchison said. 'Last year we committed to investigate ways to lower road trauma at our Road Safety Forum, including trialling the use of average speed cameras for light vehicles.' 'NSW is the only jurisdiction that has limited the use of average speed cameras to heavy vehicles, creating confusion across border communities and establishing a different standard for drivers.' The trial will continue for another 12 months, and all drivers caught speeding at the test locations will receive penalties during that period. Transport NSW keeps a running tally of annual road fatalities, which as of June 30 2025 is 182 – almost 30 more than the same time last year.

Firefighter suffers 'potentially life-threatening injuries' in truck crash at Mundoolun, south of Brisbane
A firefighter has suffered potentially life-threatening injuries after a fire truck crashed into a tree south of Brisbane. A Queensland Fire Department spokesperson said emergency services were called to the crash on Beaudesert Beenleigh Road at Mundoolun, west of Tamborine Mountain, at about 9:30am. "There was one occupant in the vehicle at the time," they said. "[Fire crews] used spreaders to access the patient who was transported to hospital." The spokesperson could not comment at this stage on the identity of the man injured. The Queensland Ambulance Service said the man was in his 30s and suffered "potentially life-threatening injuries to his lower limbs". He was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital. The Queensland Police Service said the road is expected to be closed for at least the next two hours

Family of Tamika Chesser speak after alleged murder of boyfriend
A desperate search for the dismembered head of a man allegedly murdered by his former reality TV star lover continues 11 days since police made the grim discovery of his body. South Australian police allege Tamika Chesser, 34, killed her partner Julian Story at their Port Lincoln Home earlier this month. Ms Chesser, a runner up of television series Beauty and the Geek, has been charged with murder, destroying remains and assaulting a police officer. Family of Ms Chesser told 9News they had held concerns over her mental health in recent times, with her sister claiming she'd suffered a 'life of trauma and abuse'. 'It's my sister but that's not who she is or the Tamika we know – that's not the Tamika anyone knows,' her sister said. 'It just started getting worse, you know, and she started being in and out of mental health. 'She didn't mention anything and she just told everyone that she loves them. 'It is very sad and I'm really sorry to Julian's family.' Footage has emerged of Ms Chesser at local businesses and beaches in the Port Lincoln area, on South Australia's Eyre Peninsula. The headless body of Mr Story, 39, were found on June 19 after allegedly being set alight in the Flinders Highway unit he shared with Ms Chesser. CCTV footage published by 9New s on Sunday night appeared to show the former TV contestant walking from a local petrol station. Police claim that footage was filmed roughly three hours before Mr Julian's charred bod was found. Detective Superintendent Darren Fielke, head of the Major Crimes Squad, issued an appeal for witnesses who may have seen Ms Chesser around the time of the alleged murder. 'All murders cause pain and grief for victims' families and friends. The circumstances of this murder are particularly harrowing, confronting and distressing,' he said. 'Major Crime detectives have spoken with Julian's family who are devastated by his loss and also by the circumstances surrounding his death. 'We are releasing the details of this horrific crime because it is vital for Julian's family to peacefully lay him to rest. 'We know that Tamika did not drive a vehicle and regularly walked around the township of Port Lincoln. 'We are appealing to anyone who can help us to identify Tamika's movements to please contact police.' Police had earlier released CCTV of Ms Chesser walking near her home in all black accompanied by three dogs. On Saturday, Port Lincoln mayor Diana Mislov spoke on behalf of Mr Story's family today as search efforts continued. 'I know he loved his family deeply,' Ms Mislov said. 'I just want the community and for everyone to understand that he was a human being who didn't deserve this and was much loved, very much loved.' Ms Chesser is currently being held in mental health custody and is due to appear in court again in December.
