Coronation Street fan-favourite falls and bangs his head in devastating scenes
Left responsible for the corner shop in Dev (Jimmi Harkishin)'s absence, Aadi was keen to show that he has inherited his father's flair for business. Sadly, for everyone concerned, he really hasn't.
He ended up getting the business into so much debt he was forced to enlist Brody Michaelis (Ryan Mulvey) to stage a robbery as part of an insurance scam to try to pay the debts off – only to find the insurance wouldn't pay up because he'd missed a payment.
Added to these woes, in an attempt to kick back from the world of business and have some fun, Aadi threw a party – but that went horribly wrong, too.
Lauren Bolton (Cait Fitton) ended up accidentally taking some LSD and wandered off into the night, being tortured by terrifying hallucinations of Joel Deering (Calum Lill), the man who previously abused her. She ended up falling and badly injuring herself.
Aadi and Lauren have started a sweet relationship together since then, but this is bound to be less sweet when she finds out the person who spiked her at the party was Aadi – even though it wasn't deliberate.
Luckily on the business front at least, Aadi's about-to-be step-mum Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove) came up with a plan to help him out financially by creaming off some of her and Dev's wedding fund.
In upcoming episodes the wedding day arrives, but as the ceremony is about to begin, Bernie's health takes a turn and she collapses, struggling to breathe.
As she's rushed off to hospital and Dev summons everyone to her side, it's clear that this is serious. For Aadi, his world has come crashing down. Fearing that he's partly to blame for Bernie's collapse he knows that without her in his corner it's only a matter of time before Dev finds out that he made a mess of the business. More Trending
Feeling incredibly guilty about that and about hiding the truth about the party from Lauren, Aadi resorts to getting drunk in Victoria Gardens, ignoring Lauren's attempts to call him.

Eventually he decides it's time to confess everything to Lauren. He also tells Bernie and Dev what happened, and they're horrified.
With his dad's reaction ringing in his ears, Aadi heads out again and Theo (James Cartwright) and Gary (Mikey North) later find him in a drunken state leaning against Gary's van. As Theo tries to gently steer him away, Aadi falls and bangs his head.

Is Patrick leaving EastEnders as soap legend is left to die?
This article contains spoilers for tonight's episode of EastEnders, which airs at 7.30pm on BBC One or can be streamed now on iPlayer. Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) has been left for dead. He was on cloud nine after placing a winning bet – scooping up £6,000 with thanks to Howie Danes (Delroy Atkinson) making the punt for him. As viewers will remember, fiancé Yolande (Angela Wynter) told Patrick that their upcoming wedding would be off if she caught him at the bookies again. He stood outside flashing the cash to her, hoping she'd be impressed, but got quite the negative reception and went to drown her sorrows at the pub. A gloomy Patrick then returned home, unaware of the horrors that would await him… Patrick was horrified to spot a masked intruder holding his cash. He slammed the living room door closed and prepared to stage an intervention when the robber launched towards him. During the scuffle, Patrick's head hit the floor and he was knocked unconscious. The burglar? None other than foolish Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier), who desperately needed the money to pay off his thuggish associate Fat Mike (Tai Hilferink). Mike had threatened the Branning clan's safety, and despite Oscar's efforts to form a business deal with Ian Beale (Adam Woodyatt), made the decision to target Patrick. Little did he realise, sister Lauren (Jacqueline Jossa) had already secured the funds with thanks to the kindness of her boss Jay Brown (Jamie Borthwick). But what about Patrick? Will he survive? Luckily, it seems Patrick survives the ordeal. As the week goes on we'll see his concerned family keep vigil at the hospital, as the police up their efforts to track down his attacker. With Patrick and Yolande's wedding scheduled for 1st September, it seems that they will eventually walk down the aisle. It's likely that she'll change her stance on his betting after today's assault. We also know that Patrick's beloved son Anthony (Nicholas Bailey) is set to return, with the two actors pictured on set. The former Walford doctor was last seen a little over a decade ago when he staged a short return for one episode following Patrick's stroke. More Trending We know he's back in town for the nuptials, however, also comes at a significant moment for Patrick and it means that his stay is longer than he intended. EastEnders Executive Producer Ben Wadey added: 'It's great to welcome Nicholas back to the EastEnders family to reunite Patrick with his son. 'But Anthony's plan for a brief return to surprise his father ends up with him staying longer than he expected when he uncovers what has been going on in the Trueman household.'
