According to this report, things went south when LeBron James was spotted vibing and singing along to Kendrick Lamar's track, "Not Like Us" at K.Dot's Pop Out concert.
Kendrick Lamar-Drake rivalry is one of the most talked-about beefs in the hip-hop world. LeBron not only sang along but also posted lyrics on his Instagram story:
'Therapy taught me how to open up / It also showed me I don't give a f**,"*, and a huffing emoji.
It was seen as LeBron picking a side and drifting away from Drake, who was once his good friend and great fan. Drake even had a tattoo '23' on his arm, which happens to be LeBron's jersey number.
Marca's report suggested that Drake considered Lebron's endorsing Lamar's track a serious betrayal by the Lakers' star. In his latest song, he has come up with lyrics that are a sort of direct attack on LeBron. Drake's track goes like this:
"Last time I looked to my right, you n**s was standing beside me…
"I saw bro in the Pop Out with them but been dckriding gang since 'Headlines.'"
Amidst all these developments, Durant's post is being seen as fuel to the fire. Though Durant has not spoken clearly on the matter, his reply to the fan indicates he wants his post not to be taken in connection with the Drake-James rift.
