
PRSI signs MoU with St Francis College for Women
In order to bridge the gap between Academia and Industry, these two entities have signed the MoU on 30th June 2025 to create "PRSI-St Francis Student Forum" in the College.
"This collaboration is aimed primarily at providing hands-on learning opportunities and industry exposure for students pursuing media, communication and public relations", said Dr K Yadagiri, Secretary of Hyderabad Chapter.
"Our goal is to prepare students for the professional world, and this MoU opens doors for practical experience in a dynamic field like Media & Public Relations," said Prof. T. Uma Joseph, Principal, St. Francis College for Women.
The MOU was signed in the presence of Sri Y. Babji, National Legal Advisor of PRSI; Sri Krishna Baji, Convener and Dr. Fathima Raheem, Co-Convener of the Committe for PR Education of PRSI and also the Faculty of Journalism and Mass Communication of the College - Sri K. Ravi Kumar (HOD), Sri P. Clement Babu and Smt T. Suzan Spurthi.
The MoU is set to take effect immediately and will roll out a series of student focused initiatives initially for a period of 2 academic years ie 2025-26 & 2026-27.

Curtain raiser for JITO Connect 2025 unveiled
The Hyderabad Chapter of Jain International Trade Organisation (JITO) hosted a vibrant and prestigious Curtain Raiser event for JITO Connect 2025, its flagship national summit scheduled to be held from October 3rd to 5th, 2025, at HITEX and HICC, Hyderabad. This power-packed evening witnessed the official launch of key summit verticals and the glamorous unveiling of The Bridal Story, a luxury wedding exhibition curated by the JITO Ladies Wing. JITO Connect 2025 is projected to be the biggest edition to date, spanning over 8 lakh sq. ft., hosting more than 1,000 business stalls and attracting over 2 lakh visitors. The summit will bring together more than 50,000 changemakers from across India and the globe, including entrepreneurs, policymakers, and innovators. It promises an enriching mix of global speaker sessions, startup showcases, business networking platforms, cultural presentations, and sectoral focus zones such as Artificial Intelligence and innovation-driven enterprises (JIIF and JITEM). PRSI Dehradun organises session on meditation and positivity
NEW DELHI: The Public Relations Society of India (PRSI), Dehradun Chapter, organised a session on " Positive Thinking and Mindfulness : The Key to Effective Public Relations" at the HUDCO office on Rajpur Road. The event was held in collaboration with HUDCO and Art of Living . The keynote speaker, Ms. Shweta Golani, a senior teacher from Art of Living and State Director of the Government Executive Program (GEP) for Uttarakhand, emphasised the importance of meditation and mental peace .
