Pedestrian hit by tram in Sheffield, say police
A pedestrian has been hit by a tram in Sheffield, police have said.Emergency services are at the scene in Woodbourn Road following the incident earlier on Sunday.South Yorkshire Police has not provided any details about the condition of the pedestrian.The road is closed at the junction with Staniforth Road. Supertram and other public transport routes were likely to be affected, the force added.

Murdered Plymouth University lecturer awarded posthumous PhD
