Actress Carryl Thomas is reprising her role as Nate Robinson's mum Cara for her on-screen son's funeral.
A source said: 'Nate's death has been heartbreaking for his family and with the truth hidden the Dingles and Tracy are more divided than ever.
'Cara returns to say goodbye to her son and walks straight into the middle of it all.
'She's going to have a few choice words for her ex Cain as she tries to understand what really happened to Nate.
'Carryl jumped at the chance to reprise her role after five years to do justice to the storyline.'
Viewers know that John Sugden killed Nate last year and then dumped his body in a lake.
Now Nate's wife Tracy has come under suspicion for the crime with the Dingles convinced her suspicious behaviour after his disappearance means she is responsible for his death.
She had opened a credit card in Nate's name, and gave up on looking for him, as well as being the only one who interacted with the removal men who took his belongings away.
Meanwhile she is convinced Cain killed Nate after brutally beating him the day before he disappeared.
However The Sun can also reveal that the pair will soon realise they are both wrong and join forces to hunt down the real killer.
Emmerdale's Nate Robinson reveals himself as Cain Dingle's son
But will they discover the truth about John Sugden? Or is there another twist on the horizon?
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV.

Rapist cop Wayne Couzens 'had secret NHS back op possibly costing £17,000'
Cowardly rapist and murderer Wayne Couzens, who killed Sarah Everard in 2021, was reportedly whisked off for a pricey back operation on the taxpayer's dime Grim killer cop Wayne Couzens was given an expensive operation on the taxpayers' dime, according to reports. The brutal murderer, 52, is said to have been taken away from the notorious HMP Frankland in County Durham to an NHS hospital for a lumbar procedure costing an estimated £17,000. The operation on his back, also known as a 'spinal tap', can cost up tp £7,000 - with the process of getting Couzens, who kidnapped, raped and murdered Sarah Everard, in and out of the prison possibly costing £10,000, according to The Sun. Couzens reportedly spent a number of days in a hospital before he was taken back to Frankland, around three miles away. A source told The Sun that Couzens' operation was not an emergency and was carried out to make him 'comfortable', adding that people were "angry" at how the cold-blooded killer was treated and the cost. The source said Couzens is 'constantly moaning in jail', and that he complained about back pain. It was the source that estimated that a security operation to get the killer from the jail to hospital would have cost the cited £10,000 sum. When approached by the Mirror, the Ministry of Justice (MoJ) said it does not comment on individual prisoners. The source also said Couzens was taken in a bullet proof 'Category A' van, which requires the supervision of four prison officers and a custody manager. Former prison governor Vanessa Frake said such a security operation would have needed significant planning, with staff considering the risks to healthcare staff as well as other patients and the public. Labour's North Durham MP Luke Akehurst said: 'I would be disgusted if it turns out that this vile rapist and murderer was able to jump the queue in front of decent law-abiding people to get his treatment. The cost of the security surrounding his time in hospital is an appalling waste of public money.' Sarah Everard, 33, was kidnapped and murdered by off-duty police officer Couzens in 2021, who then burned her body. Concerns over Couzens' treatment operation come as Sarah's family and others who suffered a loved one being murdered called on Sir Keir Starmer to create a new criminal offence against desecrating a body. Sarah's family was joined by the family of Michael O'Leary, a 55-year-old father of three who was shot dead by his friend Andrew Jones in 2020, after Jones found out the victim was having an affair with his wife. Jones then burned Mr O'Leary's body on a funeral pyre made of wood pallets, and tried to make it look like he killed himself. Plaid Cymru MP Ann Davies raised the issue in Prime Minister's Questions this month, asking Mr Starmer to meet with the families and hear their plea. The MP for Caerfyrddin said: "My constituent Mr Michael O'Leary was brutally murdered five years ago and his body was desecrated. I've made a number of requests to discuss his and other victims' cases with ministers and to explore introducing legislation making the desecration of a body a criminal offence." Responding, Mr Starmer: 'Can I thank her for raising this horrific case and the other similar cases and my thoughts, and I'm sure the thoughts of the whole House, are with Michael's family and all those affected by such vile crimes. I think we all need to listen to what they have to say…I'm sure the justice minister will be in touch at the first opportunity to take this forward

The Ministry of Defence told The Sun on Sunday in a statement: 'The Reaper's crew carefully tracked the terrorist on his motorcycle. "Having checked that there were no signs of civilians nearby who might be placed at risk, [they] conducted a successful engagement, striking the motorcycle and eliminating the terrorist.' Sources added the remotely-operated drone's crew were 'extremely careful' to wait for a 'gap' during the trailing of the terrorist. The took him out when no other traffic or pedestrians were within a clear radius of him. It is understood they had been monitoring him for 'some time' before firing the Hellfire missile at him. The June 10 strike was the second RAF drone hit on an IS member in Syria this year. In February — three months after tyrant Bashar Al-Assad fled to Moscow and rebel forces swept to power — another British drone pilot killed a member of the death cult in Aleppo. The UK has been fighting IS, also called Daesh, since 2014. The operation, codenamed Shader, saw the RAF conducting air strikes against the terror group in Iraq and later Syria. I fought ISIS in Syria & I know bloodthirsty thugs are plotting comeback after fall of Assad - Europe must be ready, says Brit fighter It has become one of the RAF's biggest operations in the last 25 years, with British pilots flying more than 10,000 sorties and striking more than 1,400 targets. UK jets have carried out a fifth of all air strikes by coalition forces, equivalent to the contribution by US pilots. Last year, former Defence Secretary Ben Wallace revealed that an IS terrorist had to be taken out by an RAF drone — because human rights laws prevented the SAS from seizing him. The Islamist, who was making biological weapons, was among several killed after snatch operations were ruled out. He was eliminated in a Hellfire missile blitz in 2022. Mr Wallace said lawyers told him the European Convention on Human Rights made it illegal to hand over any suspects to Syria due to the risk of torture. But they could also not be taken to Britain because there was no extradition treaty with the Assad regime.

Britain's Got Talent star's cause of death confirmed after sad death
Dancer Chantel Bellew was a contestant on Britain's Got Talent in 2019 where she delighted the judges and audiences with her uplifting routines. She passed away in March this year aged 34. The cause of death of Britain's Got Talent star Chantel Bellew has been revealed three months after her sudden death. The late dancer passed away in March at the age of 34. Chantel found fame as a dancer who auditioned for season 13 of ITV's Britain's Got Talent in 2019 when she was 28 at the time. While on the show, she delighted hosts Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly with her cheeky dance routines. After wowing in her audition, she advanced to the quarter finals - however, that season was ultimately won by singer Colin Thackery. In March it was revealed that Chantel had died after being rushed to hospital just weeks after her 34th birthday. Following an inquest into her death at Bolton Coroners' Court, it has been ruled that she took her own life and her death was ruled as suicide. The Manchester Evening News reported the cause of her death on Saturday. They quoted Chantel's mother, Jill Dawson described her as a "beautiful daughter" and "model student". It was noted that the inquest was told Chantel suffered with mental health problems for "quite some time". Assistant coroner John Pollard is quoted explaining that the tap dance star was in a "loving relationship" with wife Genna Timewell, but added: "Despite this she remained to some extent unsettled and unsure of herself." Her final moments were also documented during the hearing and it was reported she overdosed on painkillers on 17 March. The hearing was told that Gemma returned home at approximately 2pm and assumed no one was at home. The inquest heard that Gemma felt something "wasn't right" and that she was "really worried". She called her father-in-law, who said Chantel was not with him. She then texted Chantel who replied stating: "I'm good, I'm grand." Gemma then suggested they go to Wales for the weekend to "get away" and "leave it all behind". The inquest then heard how Gemma heard a noise in the attic and then saw Chantel "stumbling down the stairs" and "walking very unsteadily and looking disorientated". After calling 999 and being told it would be 40 minutes for an ambulance, Gemma drove Chantel to hospital - tragically she died over a week later on 22 March. Chantel's loved ones later set up a fundraising page to cover the cost of her funeral, writing: "It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Chantel, as we navigate through this incredibly difficult time, we want to honour her life and the beautiful impact she had on everyone who knew her." The statement on GoFundMe continued: "Chantel was more than a daughter, wife, sister, niece, cousin and friend. She was a kind, loving, and passionate spirit who brought joy and laughter to so many. "Chantel was a talent second to none who was the life and soul of every party, I am sure you will agree she was a character that nobody will ever forget. As Chantel´s friends, we would like to help the family give Chantel the showbiz farewell she deserves." As well as performing on BGT, Chantel worked in a supermarket before becoming a teaching assistant.
