THE Foo Fighters have had more members than the Sugababes at this point and now the newest person joining the rock band has been unveiled.
The iconic group, which released a new song last month, have found the perfect replacement and it's somebody fans will already recognise – it's none other than Nine Inch Nails drummer Ilan Rubin.

Ilan, 37, has had tremendous success as Nine Inch Nails' touring drummer since 2009 and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2020, making him the youngest-ever entrant at the time at 32 years old.
Rock fans will also know Ilan as he's been the drummer for Angels & Airwaves since 2005.
The exciting development comes after previous drummer Josh Freese was axed from the group back in May after two years.
He joined the band in 2023 following the tragic death of Taylor Hawkins, who died suddenly while on tour in Colombia in March 2022.
The group had reportedly called Josh at the time to tell him they were 'going in a different direction' with no further explanation given.
Josh, 52, shared a picture of his statement revealing his departure from the legendary group, captioning it simply on Instagram: 'Well, there it is.'
In the emotional post, he wrote: 'The Foo Fighters called me Monday night to let me know they've decided 'to go in a different direction with their drummer.' No reason was given. :(
'Regardless, I enjoyed the past two years with them, both on and off stage, and I support whatever they feel is best for the band.
'In my 40 years of drumming professionally, I've never been let go from a band, so while I'm not angry - just a bit shocked and disappointed.
'But as most of you know, I've always worked freelance and bounced between bands, so, I'm fine.
Foo Fighters make surprise Glastonbury performance as The Churn Ups
'Stay tuned for my 'Top 10 possible reasons Josh got booted from the Foo Fighters' list.'
According to The Hollywood Reporter, while Ilan has joined the Foo Fighters, Josh is returning to Nine Inch Nails.
The news has been confirmed with the band sharing a story of Josh and tagging him with a caption that reads: 'Let's f*****g go.'
It's still unclear whether Ilan is joining Foo Fighters as a full-time member or as a touring drummer.
As die-hard Foo Fighters fans are aware, the band is fronted by Dave Grohl as vocalist and guitarist and also features bassist Nate Mendel, guitarists Pat Smear and Chris Shiflett and keyboardist Rami Jaffee.
The band was formed in 1994 after Grohl created Foo Fighters to release solo music after Nirvana broke up the same year.
During their three decade-long career, the group has released eleven studio albums, four compilation albums, one live album, four extended plays and ten Foo Files EPs.

The band took to their official Instagram account and shared a message regarding the last minute cancellation. The post said: "We'd like to sincerely apologize to our fans first and foremost. "We never intended on cancelling our 2025 European run but over the past couple years Attila and its crew have been put in situations that are volatile to not only our mental but individual health. "In return these scenarios have led us to set boundaries as humans beings as well as a functioning business. "We flew the entire band and crew all the way to Europe only to find out less than twenty four hours before our first show these boundaries were crossed again. "We are not here to speak negatively about any individual or company. "However, we have to stand up for ourselves and, more importantly, for the people who work hard to make Attila run smoothly. "Moving forward we are going to take the necessary measures to make sure nothing like this ever happens again. "We can only hope you understand and respect our decision." "Not saying it is, but the people being let down deserve SOME kind of info." Frank replied: "I think this is plenty of info without throwing a certain "company" under the bus. "But let's just say that we (Attila) did every single thing right, showed up to Germany, & got absolutely f****d over day 1. "We're not dealing with anybody's bull***t anymore- we simply don't have to." Another fan responded: "F**k Fronz, that's ****ing terrible, recoup, reassess and rebuild, what a s***show for you guys." Attila's most successful album, About That Life, was released in 2013, and debuted on the Billboard 200 chart at number 22. When And Just Like That was first announced, Kim publicly shared her reasons for not returning, having played Samantha in the original series from 1998 to 2004, and two movies. But aside from her series two cameo - which was a phone call between Samantha and Carrie which didn't require her to film with the rest of the cast - she has remained quiet. He said: "And just like that… the ongoing storytelling of the Sex and the City universe is coming to an end. "It's with great gratitude we thank all the viewers who have let these characters into their homes and their hearts over these many years." Sarah Jessica Parker, 60, subsequently shared her own lengthy tribute to the show and her character, Carrie Bradshaw. It will be forever before I forget. The whole thing. Thank you all, I love you so.' Sarah Jessica Parker After saying she had loved Carrie "most of all" out of any of her other roles, she concluded her post - which included a montage of moments from the original and reboot - saying: "And Just Like That…was all joy, adventure, the greatest kind of hard work alongside the most extraordinary talent of 380 that includes all the brilliant actors who joined us. Credit: Getty The source has claimed that under-fire BBC presenter Naga Munchetty has a reputation for going "ballistic" at junior staff. They also revealed that she humiliated an intern who didn't make her porridge perfectly. An insider told the Mail: "She has a reputation for going at young members of staff and making them out to be fools. "She would kick off about the smallest of issues, including one time she went ballistic over her breakfast not being prepared exactly how she likes it by an intern." Munchetty refused to eat porridge delivered to her by an intern during an ad break as it was too hot for her to eat in the time she had. "The guy walked off the set utterly humiliated and went back to chuck it away before trying again in time for the next ad break, it was pretty brutal to watch," the insider added. A BBC spokesperson said: 'While we do not comment on individual cases, we take all complaints about conduct at work extremely seriously and will not tolerate behaviour that is not in line with our values. 'We have robust processes in place and would encourage any staff with concerns to raise them directly with us so they can be addressed.' It comes as the BBC is set to launch an investigation into Munchetty following a string of complaints. The Breakfast host has been placed 'under review' while bosses consider escalating matters to a formal investigation. Gary Lineker tops BBC best-paid list with Naga Munchetty among biggest earners amid 'bullying' row as salaries revealed A source said bosses had heard from a number of aggrieved colleagues, logging concerns over her 'hard' and 'bullying' behaviour on BBC Breakfast and her Radio 5 Live show. She had also been hauled in by bosses over allegations she made an off-air sex jibe at 5 Live. The source said: 'Following the amount of people who have come forward to share their experiences with Naga, the BBC has officially moved to place the complaints under review. "The review is to ascertain whether a full-on investigation is required and that could come in weeks.' The Sun previously reported Munchetty faced complaints on 5 Live including a bullying claim and the use of crude, sexual language. Bosses were forced to apologise on her behalf after a tense interview with Spice Girl Geri Horner in 2023. Munchetty began work on BBC Breakfast in 2014 and covers Thursday to Saturday alongside Stayt, as well as presenting a Radio 5 programme three times a week. She is the BBC's 10th highest earner, on around £355,000. We reported since the bullying row had erupted on BBC Breakfast, her team had approached LBC radio to seek out new opportunities.
