Indiana Fever On Wrong Side Of Kelsey Plum Announcement
After winning three straight games without Caitlin Clark, including the Commissioner's Cup championship, the Indiana Fever saw their winning streak snapped.

On Saturday, the Fever, once again without Clark, fell to Kelsey Plum and the Los Angeles Sparks 89-87, falling to 9-9 on the 2025 WNBA season.
Plum continued her solid debut season with the Sparks, tallying 20 points on 6-of-13 shooting, three rebounds and three assists.
Throughout her nine-year career, including her eight seasons with the Las Vegas Aces, Plum has now recorded 21 wins over the Fever compared to just one loss.

In fact, according to ESPN, Plum now has the "highest win percentage of any player in WNBA history against a single opponent (min. 20 games)" at 95.45% (21-1).
On the flip side, Indiana has landed on the unwanted side of this historic feat, now becoming the WNBA team with the worst winning percentage against a single player with 4.55% (1-21).

The only time Plum lost to the Fever came in her third season when Indiana defeated Las Vegas 86-71 on Aug. 27, 2019. In the loss, Plum scored 17 points on 6-of-13 shooting with one rebound and six assists in 31 minutes off the bench.
"Kelsey Plum has Indiana's number," ESPN wrote on X.
The Sparks have now jumped to 6-13 with the win, good for sixth place in the Western Conference standings. In fact, their only two victories since June 12 have come against the Fever.
Up next for the Sparks, the Minnesota Lynx, back in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, the Fever will host the Golden State Valkyries on Wednesday.
