
Form Four student killed, another injured in Shah Alam motorcycle crash
Shah Alam police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said initial investigations revealed the accident occurred when the two male students from SMK Seksyen 9 were riding near Ramly Halal Mart in Section 13 and allegedly lost control of the motorcycle.
"The motorcycle is believed to have struck the road divider, causing both the rider and the pillion passenger to be thrown onto the road," he said in a statement on Saturday (July 5).
The rider suffered severe head injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene, while the pillion passenger sustained neck injuries and leg wounds. He was taken to Shah Alam Hospital for treatment.
The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

SHAH ALAM: Police are on the hunt for a Pakistani man believed to be a suspect in four cases of sodomy and molestation involving children and teenage boys in Section 27 and Section 28 here this year. Mohd Iqbal said the suspect Muhammad Hassan, 25, is unemployed and with his last known address being Taman Bunga Negara Flat in Section 27, Shah Alam. He said any individual with information regarding the incidents can contact Crime Investigation Officer, Inspector Siti Mahanira Mahat at 017-6444895. Previously, a WhatsApp post went viral, showing residents' concerns about a group of Pakistani nationals asking for help from children, especially boys. Lorry driver arrested after fatal crash with motorcyclist in Permatang Pauh
GEORGE TOWN: Police arrested a trailer lorry driver today to assist in investigation into the fatal crash involving his lorry and a motorcycle along Jalan Permatang Pauh near here yesterday. Central Seberang Perai Tengah police chief ACP Helmi Aris said police learned of the crash at 8.20 pm yesterday and investigations showed the motorcyclist, who was from Mak Mandin heading to Permatang Pauh, passed the traffic lights at a T-junction when the lights were green. 'At the same time, a trailer coming from the opposite direction suddenly turned right without stopping at the lights and the motorcyclist was unable to avoid it and hit the middle left section of the trailer. 'The 19-year-old motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene while the lorry driver was unhurt,' he said in a statement today, adding that the case was being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987. The driver tested negative for his urine test, he said, adding that a remand application would be made at the Bukit Mertajam Magistrate's Court. - Bernama

Pakistani man sought over molestation and sodomisation of 4 boys
KUALA LUMPUR: Police are looking for a Pakistani man who allegedly molested and sodomised several boys. Shah Alam police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the suspect's name was Muhammad Hassan, 25, who is jobless and was last known to stay at the Taman Bunga Negara flats in Section 27, Shah Alam. He said the incident took place in Section 27 and 28, Shah Alam, and the victims were aged 9, 13, 14 and 19. He said four police reports had been lodged since April. "All the incidents were believed to have been committed by the same person. The modus operandi of the suspect involved initially asking the victims for help before taking them to a secluded area where he would sodomise or moleste them," he said in a statement. Iqbal said four investigation papers had been opened, of which two are under Section 14(a) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which provides for a prison sentence of not more than 20 years and whipping upon conviction. "While two other investigation papers have also been opened under Section 377C of the Penal Code, which provides for a prison sentence of not more than 20 years and whipping if convicted," he added.
