The 2025 summer season kicked off for Sandro in March, when the French brand announced its capsule collection inspired by artist Louise Bourgeois. The summer line, which hit stores in April, featured a bevy of spirals and textiles created in collaboration with Louise Bourgeois' foundation.
'Paying tribute to an artist who has such a singular creative and artistic language brings substance to the brand and allows our customers to live a unique experience where fashion meets art in its expressive power,' chief executive officer Isabelle Allouch said in an interview with WWD in March.
The French American artist, who died in 2010, is best known for her giant sculptures of spiders, including a 20-foot-high bronze creation that sold for $32.8 million in 2023, setting a record-high price for a work by a female artist.
Princess Beatrice is a longtime supporter of Sandro's designs and previously wore a dress from the French label for an event in June 2024. She also often wears such labels as Beulah London, Simkhai and more.

Builder from Essex wins £75k Porsche 911 after entering 6p competition
A builder from Essex is the lucky winner of a £75,000 Porsche 911, in a competition that cost just 6p to enter. Michael Barton, 39, from Harlow, was working on-site building an extension when he was surprised by presenter Katie Knight, who arrived to deliver the life-changing news and reveal the prize parked nearby. He won the car courtesy of online competition firm BOTB, who have had winners all across the globe scoring big prizes from small investments. Michael said: 'I'm absolutely shaking, nothing like this ever happens to me - It's amazing. "It couldn't have come at a better time – we've got a baby due in four weeks, it's a very exciting time for us.' The 911, finished in bright red, was an especially sweet win for the Liverpool fan. 'I couldn't have picked a better colour – this is a bit of me" he said, grinning as he sat inside and revved the engine. 'The whole experience has been surreal. "I've seen videos of other winners online and thought I would give it a go. "I'm a hardworking man, and the past few months I've really been hoping something good would happen.' Despite falling in love with the turbocharged sports car, Michael revealed he's likely to take the cash alternative and put it towards a deposit for a new house. 'This is going to help me progress to the next stage of where I want to be in my life' he added. To top off the surreal moment, Michael's partner revealed that the night before the win, she'd dreamt he'd won a shopping trolley. Katie said: 'Michael's reaction was just brilliant – total disbelief and so much excitement. 'It's a stunning car and such a head-turner, but with a baby on the way, I completely understand why he might take the cash. "Either way, it's an incredible prize for just 6p." BOTB hands over the keys to a stunning dream car to a different winner each week, as well as offering other lifestyle prizes. Founded in 1999, BOTB has given away £102m worth of cars so far. Soap star Alan Fletcher says Neighbours is finishing ‘at its peak'
Actor Alan Fletcher said Neighbours is coming to an end while the Australian soap is 'at its peak'. The programme had its final day of filming earlier this month after its two-year Prime Video revival which followed it being dropped from broadcast by Channel 5 in 2022. Fletcher, 68, who has played Dr Karl Kennedy for 30 years, said it is 'fair to say' he is now more famous in the UK than Australia due to the popularity of the show here. He told ITV's Good Morning Britain (GMB): 'It's extremely popular. It sits in the top five programmes (on Amazon). View this post on Instagram A post shared by Neighbours (@neighbours) 'Amazon gave us an extra 400 episodes, and we are eternally grateful. 'I have to say to you, when we finished filming, rather than the sadness we had the first time, I sat back and thought, 'Do you know what? We've been given the opportunity to make the best Neighbours we ever could have made'. 'That's where we finished up. I reckon Neighbours is at its peak.' The cast wrapped filming on July 11 at Nunawading Studios and the soap's final broadcast after 40 years will be in December. The programme, which launched the careers of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan, Margot Robbie and Guy Pearce among others, has followed the lives of people living and working in the fictional Melbourne suburb of Erinsborough since 1985. Neighbours was dropped by Channel 5 in 2022 after it failed to secure new funding, with a finale episode in July that year attracting an average audience of 2.5 million when several well-known characters returned to the show to say goodbye. The soap's return was announced in late 2022, with a social media clip featuring some of the characters being told the news. In February this year it was announced the programme would end after reports production company Fremantle failed to secure a deal with Amazon.
