According to Facchine, Allah has promised Muslims victory if they simply try, and he expressed absolute confidence that within a decade Allah will topple 'the Zionist regime.'

PKK to hold symbolic disarmament ceremony in Iraqi Kurdistan
Shafaq News – Ankara A symbolic disarmament ceremony by the Kurdistan Workers' Party (PKK) will take place soon in Iraq's Kurdistan Region, marking a new phase in efforts to end decades of conflict with Turkiye, the pro-Kurdish Peoples' Equality and Democracy Party (DEM) announced on Saturday. In a statement, DEM described the moment as 'historic,' signaling a new stage in the pursuit of peace and democratic reform. The initiative follows the PKK's announcement in May that it would dissolve and lay down arms after more than 40 years of armed struggle that claimed over 40,000 lives. The decision came in response to a February call by the group's jailed founder, Abdullah Ocalan, urging an end to armed resistance. According to DEM, the upcoming ceremony is part of a broader 'new solution process' launched following a public appeal by Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) leader Devlet Bahçeli. Talks have included proposals to form a parliamentary committee before the summer recess to oversee the disarmament process and other peace-related arrangements. The party said the PKK is expected to hold the symbolic handover event within a week, with photos to be released once preparations are complete. Two PKK officials confirmed this week that several fighters would publicly destroy their weapons in a gesture of goodwill. One told AFP that combatants who had previously fought Turkish forces would burn or break their weapons during the ceremony. Representatives from political parties, the media, and local observers are expected to attend. The exact date and location have not been disclosed. A second official said Ocalan is expected to issue a new message regarding the process in the coming days. Ocalan has been imprisoned since 1999 on Imrali Island near Istanbul, with limited communication permitted. DEM, which has served as a communication channel between Ocalan and the Turkish government, is scheduled to meet President Recep Tayyip Erdogan next week, ahead of a planned prison visit. The party called on all segments of Turkish society to support the democratic transition and denounced interference with public will. Most PKK fighters in recent years have been based in northern Iraq's mountainous terrain, where Turkiye maintains a network of military outposts and regularly conducts cross-border operations.

Iraq's Kataib Hezbollah rejects disarmament: Weapons for Imam Mahdi
Shafaq News – Baghdad The Iraqi Resistance will never surrender their weapons except before Imam Mahdi — a revered figure in Shiite Islam believed to be the awaited redeemer who will one day establish global justice — a senior commander from the Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah declared on Saturday. In a statement, Abu Ali Al-Askari, the group's security official, condemned what he described as 'cowards echoing Zionist-American demands' to dismantle resistance arsenals across the region, arguing these weapons had defended Iraq and its holy sites against extremist forces, which he blamed on 'American-backed Saudi Wahhabi takfiri gangs.' 'These weapons are a sacred trust for Imam Mahdi, safeguarded by the mujahideen defending Iraq's sanctities,' Al-Askari emphasized, insisting that only the Imam could authorize their surrender. He also dismissed calls to disarm as 'the lowest insult,' urging followers to focus instead on confronting American and Turkish forces in Iraq. Al-Askari also reminded supporters of the massacres committed by ISIS in 2014, crediting resistance fighters for stopping its advance and pledging they would continue to protect the country. About the Iraqi Resistance A term typically refers to an umbrella of Iran-aligned armed factions that emerged following the US invasion in 2003 and gained further prominence during the war against ISIS. These include groups such as Kataib Hezbollah, Asaib Ahl al-Haq, Harakat al-Nujaba, and Sayyid al-Shuhada Brigades, many of which are formally integrated into the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) while maintaining separate chains of command and ideological alignment with Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC).

British Islamist Journalist Robert Carter Reacts to UK Government Ban of Palestine Action: What a Disgrace - Britain Is Conquered by Israel; This Government Is Doing Everything to Make Tel Aviv Happy;
Roshan Salih, editor of the British Islamist media platform 5Pillars, and British Islamist journalist Robert Carter, who also works for the platform, discussed the recent Iran–Israel war and the prescription of Palestine Action by the House of Commons as a terrorist organization on the June 25, 2025 episode of the 5Pillars podcast. Salih argued that Iran must strengthen its ballistic missile capabilities, enhance its air defenses, and pursue a nuclear bomb. He stated that most Sunni Muslims support Iran in its fight against Israel, despite Iran's reputation being 'tarnished' by its actions in Syria and Iraq, because they see a state confronting Israel. Carter said that all Muslims support this because Israel is 'the enemy of Islam, the enemy of all Muslims, and the enemy of the Middle East.' Responding to the UK's prescription of Palestine Action, Carter said, 'This country is conquered by Israel,' and addressed the British government directly: 'What a disgrace, you should be in jail yourselves.' He added that the UK government is supposed to represent British rights and British freedoms, and he said: 'I can't believe the state of this country, what a joke.' Carter concluded that if there is anything that makes him 'sick to be British,' it's the British establishment, stating: 'I don't want to be associated with these arseholes.'
