AC/DC Expand 2025 Australian Tour With Second (And Final) Shows In All Cities
Upon going on sale last week (June 26th), the band officially broke Ticketek's record for the largest on-sale day in the vendor's 45-year-plus history – which they previously set themselves back in 2009 with their Black Ice stadium tour. According to promoter Christo Van Egmond, tickets for the Power Up tour moved at an average of 1,200 tickets per second. 'The demand has been extraordinary,' he said. 'This second Perth show will definitely be the final show that will be added to the Australian tour. We can confirm that absolutely no further shows will be added.'
Joining the tour as main support will be Melbourne's Amyl & The Sniffers, with local openers for each show to be announced in the coming months. AC/DC's current line-up for live shows includes founding member and guitarist Angus Young, longtime lead singer Brian Johnson, rhythm guitarist (and Angus' nephew) Stevie Young, American session drummer Matt Laug (filling in for absent drummer Phil Rudd) and former Jane's Addiction bassist Chris Chaney (not to be confused with The Living End's Chris Cheney) – who officially serves as Cliff Williams' stand-in following his retirement.

Chamber choir to mark 50 years of music with special concert
A chamber choir will celebrate its 50th anniversary with a special concert. The St John Singers (SJS) has been providing a wide variety of music to the community and supporting local charities for half a century. The group was founded by John Powell as an extension of the St John the Baptist, Bishopstone's church choir. Since then, it has expanded its scope, offering regular concerts of both church and popular choral music in Salisbury, across the UK and abroad. Sidcup school to host concert celebrating 15 years of nurturing young talent
A school is set to host an anniversary concert to celebrate 15 years of nurturing young musical talent. Hurstmere School in Sidcup will host the concert on Tuesday, July 8, to celebrate both past and present musicians from StudioFix, the school's student record label. The event will put a spotlight on the success of various bands, solo artists, and the school's award-winning choir, Harmony Army. StudioFix has seen its students evolve into performers at major UK venues like the Royal Albert Hall, and even winners on national competition platforms. Notable alumni include Zach Loizou, Tom Monks, Robert Taylor, Jamie Moreland, and The Gas Tanks, the latter having supported Madness after forming at Hurstmere. Andy Gilbert, StudioFix's music teacher and the programme's founder, said: "We want to ensure the next generation of musicians at Hurstmere have the same experiences moving forward." He added that all funds raised from the concert will be channelled back into the school's music department. Tickets for the event are available for purchase via Eventbrite, with early bookings recommended. The school said: "This is more than a concert — it's a celebration of 15 years of passion, creativity, and community spirit."

Post Malone's Epic Move at Arizona Dive Bar Leaves Staff Speechless
Post Malone's Epic Move at Arizona Dive Bar Leaves Staff Speechless originally appeared on Parade. There's nothing like the rush of a killer concert, and when you're Post Malone, the good vibes don't stop at the encore. On June 21, 2025, after electrifying State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, Post skipped the fancy after-party and headed straight to Gracie's Tax Bar, a no-frills dive in Phoenix. What happened next had the entire staff picking their jaws up off the floor. See what one team member had to say in this Instagram video from @12newsaz on June 29: View this post on Instagram A post shared by 12News 🌵 (@12newsaz) Can you imagine winding down with friends and seeing this superstar stroll in? No big entourage, no flashing cameras, just Post sipping a drink, swapping stories with patrons, and soaking up the laid-back atmosphere. He was right at home, like he'd been going to Gracie's the tab arrived, Post didn't just cover the bill; he left a tip so generous it will keep 15 employees smiling for weeks. 'He tipped enough to cover everyone's bills for a month,' bartender Chris Banks told 12 News AZ. Wow! But the money was only part of it. The 'Pour Me a Drink' singer stayed until 2 a.m., taking photos and chatting with fans, and treating everyone with genuine kindness. 'I was just so impressed at how respectful he was,' owner Grace Perry shared. 'You don't see that every day.' This musician turned a regular night into one that the staff and locals will talk about for years to come. Post Malone's big-hearted gesture proves that kindness always steals the show. But you don't need platinum records to make someone's night. Next time you're at your favorite hangout, toss in a little extra, and you can make someone's day too!
