Three-Star Cornerback Jeremiah Favorite Welcomed by Michigan State Football Fans Upon Commitment
Michigan State football welcomed its 11th defenseman and sixth defensive back from the class of 2026. The Spartan fanbase welcomed the new commit with open arms under his commitment post.

Head coach Jonathan Smith's recruitment squeezed its way into the No. 24 overall spot across NCAA classes of 2026. Smith landed his 21st commitment on Wednesday, June 25. This is the eighth commitment rolling in from the 10 rising seniors who visited East Lansing over the weekend of May 30.

Jeremiah Favorite announced his commitment on Wednesday afternoon.
The Boiling Spring, S.C. native was recruited by secondary coach Blue Adams. In the absence of Demetrice Martin, Adams needed to step up and deliver a pitch that would work equally as well as the former cornerbacks coach's excellent recruiting skills.
Spartans immediately took to the comments to welcome him to his home away from home. Showering his comment section in green, it's safe to say Michigan State is excited at the bare minimum to have rounded out a solid defensive class and push the Spartans one step further in their rebuilding era.

The three-star is the No. 1230 overall recruit, No. 105 cornerback overall, and No. 21 recruit from South Carolina. Some other schools in the running for Favorite out of his 25 total offers were Indiana, Oklahoma State, and Wake Forest.
Favorite joins edges Fameitau Siale and Cory House, linebackers Braylon Hodge and Adam Shaw, cornerbacks TJ Umenyiora and KJ Deriso, safeties Jordan Vann, Eliyjah Caldwell-Hardy, and Brayden Thomas, and defensive lineman Christopher Knauls on defense from the class of 2026.

Murray-Boyles is expected to suit up with the Raptors as they play at least five games in the NBA Summer League, beginning on July 11 against the Chicago Bulls (8 p.m. EDT, NBA TV).

For Carolina Panthers wide receiver Xavier Legette, that means enjoying the outdoors, even if it means helping a friend out in a muddy situation. Legette went viral for helping a friend get an ATV out of muddy water he believed the vehicle could get through. At first, Legette was trying to coach his friend out of the predicament, but when that didn't work, he jumped on to do things himself. Legette didn't hesitate a bit when he saw the situation getting even more sticky. However, the video clip ends with Legette and his friend trying together to pull the blue ATV out of the mud without showing the end result. Legette's wilderness adventures have been on full display since the South Carolina product entered the NFL as the Panthers' first-round selection last season. He went viral for numerous reasons, including his thick Southern accent that fans adore. He's also been seen riding horses on his farm, especially "Dolla Bill," which he gives a nod to with his touchdown celebration that mimics riding a horse.
