Wiegman hails 'incredible' Euros repeat for England
"I just can't believe it. I have a medal around my neck and we have a trophy," Wiegman told BBC One TV.
"It has been the most chaotic tournament on the pitch -- all the challenges we had on the pitch against our opponent.
"From the first game it was chaos. Losing your first game and becoming European champions is incredible.
"Football is chaos."
England won the penalty shootout 3-1 after the match in Basel finished 1-1 following extra time.
"We said we can win by any means and that's what we have shown again today. I am so proud of the team and the staff. It is incredible," Wiegman, who is Dutch, said.
England captain Leah Williamson said she had a feeling her team was going to win.
"(I feel) total disbelief -- but at the same time, I knew it was going to happen. There's always a moment when I think, right girls, let's turn it on.
"The way we defended as a team, nothing came through us. It felt like it was going to be our day.
"Relentless, we have players who absolutely love it. It's just unbelievable to do it again. And after that first game, no-one thought we would -- and fair enough! But nothing has changed."

Rovanpera emerges from home forests leading Rally of Finland
On treacherous dirt and gravel tracks the two-time world champion won three of the day's nine stages behind the wheel of a Toyota. Prosecutors call for PSG's Achraf Hakimi to face rape trial
The Nanterre prosecutor's office told AFP that they had requested that the investigating judge refer the rape charge to a criminal court. "It is now up to the investigating magistrate to make a decision within the framework of his order," the prosecutor's office told AFP in a statement. Hakimi, 26, played a major role in PSG's run to their first Champions League title, the full-back scoring the opener in the 5-0 rout of Inter Milan in the final in May. Hakimi, who helped Morocco to their historic charge to the semi-finals of the 2022 World Cup, was charged in March, 2023 with raping a 24-year-old woman. Hakimi allegedly paid for his accuser to travel to his home on February 25, 2023, in the Paris suburb of Boulogne-Billancourt while his wife and children were away on holiday. He denies the accusations.
