Four-star safety Tylan Wilson names Clemson in his final three schools
Four-star Tylan Wilson trimmed his list to three schools on Wednesday, putting Clemson in the mix alongside Texas A&M and Arkansas. The Georgia native has been on Clemson's radar since he picked up an offer in January and he was on campus for the Tigers' major official visit weekend in early June — a visit that helped solidify Clemson's spot among his top choices. Wilson is scheduled to announce his decision on July 18. According to 247Sports, he's the No. 221 overall prospect and ranks No. 17 among safeties in the 2026 cycle.

The other top name left on the board is four-star Blake Stewart, who is also nearing the end of his recruitment. Stewart plans to reveal his commitment on July 13, with Clemson battling Miami and Vanderbilt for his pledge. The Tigers are believed to be in a strong position with Stewart, who Rivals ranks as the No. 149 player overall and the No. 10 safety in the country.
Clemson has already secured two safeties in the current class, so there's only room for one more addition at the position. With spots limited, landing either Wilson or Stewart would close out the position group in strong fashion for safeties coach Mickey Conn and the defensive staff.
The next two weeks will be crucial as the Tigers try to lock in one of their final defensive pieces for what's shaping up to be another highly ranked recruiting class.

However, Mexico's response was swift. Javier Aguirre's pushed forward, chased the deficit and quickly equalised through Fulham's Raúl Jiménez. In the 27th minute, the forward received the ball inside the box, turned and shot first-time, catching the opposing goalkeeper by surprise followed by a goal celebration in tribute to the late Diogo Jota. From that point on, the Mexicans had the majority of the chances with the USA looking to hit on the break. Advertisement After plenty of chances, Mexico finally took the lead in the 77th minute. Chiefs QB Mahomes Receives Awkward 'Exit' Review from Steelers Legend Roethlisberger
Chiefs QB Mahomes Receives Awkward 'Exit' Review from Steelers Legend Roethlisberger originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Two-time Super Bowl winner Ben Roethlisberger is entitled to his opinion of three-time Super Bowl winner Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City Chiefs ... Advertisement No matter how wrong - or how lacking in eloquence - that opinion might be. The run being orchestrated by Mahomes is, by any measure, nothing short of incredible. Mahomes already has three Super Bowl rings to his name, which is something many great players never claim once. But Mahomes' excellence has been no strike of luck. Rather, Mahomes and the Chiefs have carried the torch from the New England Patriots as the next great NFL dynasty, appearing in the last seven AFC Championship games and winning the AFC West each of the last nine seasons. To question Mahomes' greatness would simply be foolish. Advertisement Enter "Big Ben.'' The former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Roethlisberger "went there'' on a recent episode of his podcast "Footbahlin with Ben Roethlisberger." "Yes, I think Patrick Mahomes is phenomenal. He's going to go down as, you know, another arguable goat. You know what I mean? There's not only like one goat, but there's goats—the whole herd of goats,'' he said. But ... "I would take Aaron (Rogers) in his prime over Patrick right now,'' he said. And then he tried to phrase it just so ... "Patrick Mahomes is just entering out of his prime." What? We don't think Ben means to insult Patrick here. And Rodgers? The eye test certainly showcases Rodgers' brilliance from his prime years and he remains a cemented great at the quarterback position despite a downward spiral over the last few years. Advertisement But Rodgers is 41. Mahomes is 29. ... and his downward spiral is already here? All things considered, Mahomes continues to make any argument against him all the more difficult with each passing season. Not even a decade into his career, Mahomes has earned a place at the table of legends with more room to add to a laundry list of accolades. Where is Roethlisberger's coming from here? We're not clear. ... in part because "Patrick Mahomes is just entering out of his prime'' is such an awkwardly unclear way of phrasing it.
