WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels might be known as Mr. WrestleMania, but who does he believe is Mr. and Mrs. NXT?
WWE Senior Vice President of Talent Development and Creative Shawn Michaels recently spoke with Brad Gilmore of Reality of Wrestling. When asked who Mr. and Mrs. NXT were, Michaels didn't hesitate to name Stephanie Vaquer Mrs. NXT, but Mr. NXT is a bit more of a toss-up.

'Well, in the last couple of months, it'd have to be Stephanie Vaquer for the women's side, our NXT Women's Champion,' Shawn Michaels said. 'She has just taken the entire world by storm. I think she's somebody that already had an international name, but I think once she got on to NXT programming, the entire world and the entire globe — her popularity has just skyrocketed
'Look, I think it's a toss-up on our men's side. I think they'd probably argue about it, but I think Trick Williams and Oba Femi are two guys with — Trick has unlimited charisma, but Oba also has a mystique and an aura about him. They're two very different individuals, but they're both guys that are easily superstars that people see are going to be Raw and SmackDown superstars in the very near future, I'm sure.' Vince McMahon gets into nasty Connecticut car crash

Former WWE boss Vince McMahon was involved in a rough car crash in Connecticut last week, according to multiple reports. McMahon, 79, was traveling near Westport on Thursday morning when his 2024 Bentley slammed into a 2023 BMW 430 before hitting a median guardrail, TMZ reported. A third vehicle, a Ford Fusion, driving in the other direction, was then struck by debris from the crash with McMahon. Barbara Doran claimed in a Facebook post that her BMW was struck by McMahon as she was on her way to catch the ferry to Martha's Vineyard The outlet reported that there were no major injuries in the wreck but McMahon was cited for reckless driving — a misdemeanor. Photos of the crash showed fairly extensive damage to the front of McMahon's Bentley, which reportedly had its airbag deployed in the incident. The crash came on the same day that wrestling legend Hulk Hogan died at 71. Hours after the reported crash, McMahon took to social media to mourn the loss of Hogan. 'The world lost a treasure today,' wrote McMahon. 'Hulk Hogan was the greatest WWE Superstar of ALL TIME, someone who was loved and admired around the world. He was a trailblazer, the first performer who transitioned from being a wrestling star into a global phenomenon. 'His grit and unbridled thirst for success were unparalleled — and made him the consummate performer. He gave everything he had to the audience whom he appreciated, respected and loved. 'He leaves us with one of his favorite expressions, 'Train, take your vitamins and say your prayers.' Today, we pray for him.' TMZ reported that McMahon is slated to appear in court in August.

Vince McMahon involved in car crash, will appear in court next month

According to a report from TMZ, Vince McMahon, former WWE head honcho who resigned in disgrace following a hush money scandal over alleged sex trafficking involving a former employee, was involved in a car crash last week. Just hours before the media outlet reported Hulk Hogan's death, McMahon crashed his Bentley into the back of a BMW that then collided with a guardrail. Another vehicle became involved when debris hit it. While all three cars needed towed following the incident, all drivers were wearing the seatbelts and no injuries were reported in the fallout of the crash. More from the TMZ report on what's next for McMahon: McMahon was issued a misdemeanor summons for reckless driving and following too closely resulting in an accident. He will have to appear in court late next month. Representatives from McMahon did not comment on any of this. Just hours after the incident, McMahon was posting tributes to Hogan on social media.
