Atalanta expecting improved new Inter offer for Nigeria star Lookman

While Inter had been prepared to offer a transfer fee in the region of €40m, Atalanta are seeking a fee closer to €50m.
Atalanta, who have already raised €65m through the sale of Mateo Retegui to Al-Qadsiah this summer, are expecting Inter to come back in with a new and improved offer for Lookman in the near future, according to reports from Calciomercato.com.
The fact that Atalanta have already raised a significant sum through the sale of Retegui this summer, they are said to be in a strong position when it comes to negotiating a deal involving Lookman.
Thursday's report claims that Inter could return with a new offer that has improved by €2m-€3m compared to their initial €40m bid.
