Abbie Chatfield details awkward visit to ‘sex pub' on Euro trip with boyfriend Adam Hyde
Abbie Chatfield has just returned from her four-week European holiday with boyfriend Adam Hyde – and boy, does she have a few stories to tell. Debriefing on today's episode of her It's A Lot with Abbie Chatfield podcast, the media personality candidly shared an awkward holiday encounter when she and Hyde found themselves at a 'sex pub' in Amsterdam. 'It wasn't a sex club – it was a sex pub,' Chatfield said. 'We walk in and it's like a pub, like the Royal in Bondi, if you know it.' But the former Bachelor star says that there was nothing sexy about the venue, which charged about €25 ($45) for entry. 'To the left there's a room that looks like a gymnastics room. It's got those plastic covered mattresses… There's also cages, a cage room, with more soft mats in there. A little bar … downstairs there's something but we don't know what.' Chatfield said things got more awkward when she and the Peking Duk musician were told to sit down by the bar with eight other couples. Strangely, everyone facing was inward at each other 'like we're about to do a little battle or something'. 'I said to Adam, 'I can't look up.' I was actually staring down, like I can't look at these people,' she recalled, as her anxiety level rocketed. 'It felt like Adam and I were probably like fresh meat to these people. I feel like they may have been regulars.' Chatfield said she could feel the stares, with one woman even staring at Hyde while 'licking her lips' suggestively. 'It felt like I was a chunk of pork being thrown into the croc den by Bob Irwin,' she admitted. 'It was crazy.' So the duo decided to ditch the group after spotting a man with a Maori tattoo because if he was from New Zealand, it could have been a 'high danger zone' if he recognised the high-profile pair. But the 'dungeon' wasn't much better. 'We go to the dungeon … there's a man with a fedora, suspenders, no shirt, just smacking his chook,' she shuddered. 'They're having a great time alone in the dungeon.' Chatfield and Hyde then go into another room where she forced herself to 'try to be horny' because this experience 'isn't in Australia'. But she just couldn't feel at ease. 'We go into the other room and close the door,' she said, revealing they attempted to get intimate only to find they had an audience. 'There was a group of them in the window watching us have sex… I was like, 'Adam, I hate this,'' she remembered. 'At that point, I was trying to be a good sport. So this whole time Adam thinks I'm OK, but I went, 'Baby, I f***ing hate this.'' And with that the pair were out of there. Chatfield says the biggest reveal of all was that she's 'a prude' and she's OK with that. 'I really hate public sex and I hate people seeing me,' she concluded. 'I think also with this job, even going to bars and people screaming in my face, it's not like a sexy thing. It's not hot. It's like a violation, actually, more than it is hot.'

Abbie Chatfield sparks engagement rumours with boyfriend Adam Hyde as she sports huge ring
Abbie Chatfield has sparked engagement rumours with boyfriend Adam Hyde after showing off some bling she received on her 30th birthday. The Bachelor star shared a video to Instagram on Monday in which she revealed the custom made ring Adam gifted her for her birthday. 'So my 30th birthday and I was wondering what he is going to do for me. We were in Greece for my actual birthday so I only recently got my present but it's so cute,' she said. 'For context, he calls me bug because one day we were in bed and he said "you're like a little bug". Ever since then, [he calls me bug]. So me being buggy he got me this custom made,' Abbie explained before opening a heart-shaped box to reveal the ring. She then placed the band on her ring finger and held it up towards the camera. From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'It's a bug ring. Is that not the cutest, coolest, sickest 30th birthday present? It's so weird... I thought you would all be wondering what he got me and I just wanted to show it off,' she added. Many fans flocked to the comments to question whether she was wearing the ring on her engagement finger. 'Hahahaha I did see the left hand engagement ring finger,' one person commented. 'Little do you know, you're now engaged,' another said while a third wrote: 'She did pop it on that finger.' Abbie immediately shut down speculation, explaining she was wearing the ring on her right hand but the camera flipped the image to make it seem it was her left finger. Abbie and Adam have been going from strength-to-strength since debuting their romance in June 2024 and she has even featured in his on-stage performances. She joined Adam on stage for his band Peking Duk's New Year's Eve set at the Hindley St Music Hall in Adelaide as they rang in 2025 together. In pictures shared to Instagram, the couple packed on the PDA as they weren't shy of sharing their affections in front of the thousands of fans in the crowds. One on-stage video showed the couple leading the crowd in the countdown to 2025 before sharing a New Year's kiss. Earlier this year, Abbie told Stellar Magazine that her relationship with Adam is the best she's ever had. 'It isn't like other people I've had flings with. And this is gonna sound a bit w**ky, but he's had a bigger career than me,' she said after concerns from fans that Adam is 'using her' for fame. 'I don't think he's using me for anything. He's successful in his own right. 'I think I'm cool for being with him, not the other way around.' Abbie was friends with Adam for two years before they started dating, which she said has added to the trust between them.

Abbie Chatfield opens up about X-rated act while on holiday
One of Australia's most well known media personalities has revealed one X-rated thing she is looking forward to on her upcoming trip to Europe. Abbie Chatfield is currently holidaying in Europe with her boyfriend Adam Hyde, one half of Peking Duk, in honour of her 30th birthday. But, during an Ask Me Anything on her popular Listnr podcast It's A Lo t, she revealed one thing she was really excited about ahead of the trip. 'For those of you who don't know, I went to a sex club in Sydney with my friends and I walked in, and the girl behind the bar goes, 'It's Abbie Chatfield,' Chatfield said on the podcast. Being recognised soured the experience for the 30-year-old, who was in lingerie at the time, and therefore she did not partake in any of the activities at the venue. 'I felt deeply uncomfortable and anxious the entire time, people were coming up to me and recognising me — no one's allowed phones so it was actually worse,' she said. Chatfield added she and Hyde, who also performs under the name Keli Holiday, have been monogamous throughout their relationship — and will likely continue to do so. But, the trip to Europe allows them to explore their sexuality as a couple without being recognised. 'I've been gagging for a threesome,' Chatfield said bluntly. 'I've been gagging to f*** a woman, you know I'm a bisexual girly pop. But we haven't been able to — like, in Australia, who are we going to have a threesome with?' Chatfield said there was a difference between her sharing her sex life publicly, and others talking about her sex life. She also expressed that she enjoys the idea of watching Hyde have sex with another woman. 'The shame kink is only in the moment, not once it's over,' she said. She said the couple have spoken a lot about experiencing a sex club in Europe, including their boundaries and what they are willing to do. 'I think on the first time we go, we should go and agree to only f*** each other and not touch anyone else,' she said. She said the next time they go to a sex club, they will talk more about what they would be willing to do outside of their relationship. Chatfield expressed that she only wanted to have sexual relationships outside of Hyde with a woman — she said she didn't want to make any other men happy. 'No men I meet in a sex club will ever respect me as much as Adam — and I've never really been into random hook ups,' she said.

Abbie Chatfield reveals her plans for her first sex club experience with boyfriend Adam Hyde in Amsterdam
Abbie Chatfield has revealed her plans to visit a sex club in Amsterdam with her boyfriend Adam Hyde after celebrating her 30th birthday on Greek island Folegandros over the weekend. Speaking on her It's A Lot podcast, Abbie, 30, said she was 'really excited' to partake in local delicacies with her Peking Duk frontman beau, including smoking weed, stroopwafels and sex clubs. The high-profile couple began dating in June last year, and Abbie said they been monogamous the entire time, but she is now ready for a threesome. 'I think we will continue to be, probably forever, but I have been gagging for a threesome,' she said. 'I have been gagging to (sleep with another woman) because I'm a bisexual girlypop.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'But I haven't been able to in Australia because who are we going to have a threesome with?' Abbie recounted her first foray into a sex club in Sydney, in January 2024. The media personality said the outing did not go to plan because she was too recognisable. 'I went to a sex club in Sydney with my friends and I walked in and the girl behind the bar screamed "ABBIE CHATFIELD!"' she recounted, adding sarcastically, 'Hi Queen.' 'Obviously, I didn't touch anyone or do anything. I felt deeply uncomfortable and anxious the entire time.' 'I don't want to in front of people that know who I am. So Europe will be our chance.' The FBoy Island host said she had considered the option of employing a sex worker, but felt uncomfortable about the prospect of becoming a salacious piece of anonymised TikTok content. 'I don't want to restrict the chooks from telling their friends a great story over wine, but I also don't want to be a great story over wine,' she explained. Abbie reiterated she has a kink for watching her partner sleep with other women. 'The shame kink is only in the moment,' she said. 'Once I've [finished] I don't like it anymore.' 'So, we've got to go to sex clubs. We've spoken about it a lot - about our boundaries and what we're going to do.' A fan asked then what the couple's boundaries will be. On their first visit to a sex club in Amsterdam, neither Abbie nor Adam will sleep with another person. 'Our plan is to go one time... not touch anyone else, not even consider it. And then the next time, then we can talk about what we might feel comfortable with,' Abbie explained. The media personality lamented how it has been more than two years since she has slept with a woman. 'Obviously I want to continue to explore my sexuality and I feel safe doing that in a European sex club more so than in Australia,' she said. Adam had floated the idea of introducing male partners, as well as female partners, into the couple's sex club experience for balance. After mulling it over, she told him: 'I don't want any other man to derive any joy from me, other than you.' 'I don't want to make any other men happy.' Generally speaking, Abbie said she doesn't find 'men attractive'. 'Unless I have a crush on them,' she added. Producer Oscar admitted he was confused at this point in the conversation. Abbie explained she has to get to know a man's personality before becoming attracted to him, whereas she finds 'women instantly sexually attractive'. 'But I've always been the third in a threesome, never the partner,' Abbie added. 'So we'll see how we go.' After Amsterdam, the couple will continue their three week holiday in Berlin, before travelling to Croatia, and then returning to Greece on the island of Hydra. Abbie is currently on a 'social media break' and does not have access to her personal phone, which she said is being managed by her assistant whilst she is on holiday.

Abbie Chatfield celebrates her 30th birthday 'somewhere in Greece' with partner Adam Hyde - as he freestyles her a sweet celebration song
Abbie Chatfield broke her social media embargo this week to celebrate her 30th birthday. The influencer announced last week that she was taking a month off all online platforms after a year of incessant trolling. But Abbie was back on Instagram on Friday to reflect on her 30 years on the planet. She shared an expansive carousel of throwback images from her past, augmented with 20 things that she wished she knew at 20. Captioning the post, Abbie revealed that she and boyfriend Adam Hyde were living it up 'somewhere in Greece.' From A-list scandals and red carpet mishaps to exclusive pictures and viral moments, subscribe to the DailyMail's new showbiz newsletter to stay in the loop. 'I'm excited to be 30,' she wrote. 'I've never been scared of ageing. Every day I learn and grow, so what's there to be scared of? 'I'm proud of myself for the woman I am, and I am excited to meet the woman I will become. She continued: 'I'm happy that I made it this far. Here's what I wish I knew at 20 as I enter my 30s. Abbie then went on to impart several pearls of wisdom that she has picked up along the way, including the ability to 'feel your feelings'. 'Don't over-intellectualise,' she wrote over an image that showed her engrossed in a book. 'Don't numb yourself with your favourite vice. It takes practise to process emotions. The more you do it, the more you learn. That is true resilience.' She also emphasised the importance of keeping a daily journal as a way of making sense of the world. 'UNFORTUNATELY, journaling every day helps,' she imparted. 'It can be painful and daunting, but it is much like massaging a knot in the muscles. Abbie then went on to impart several pearls of wisdom that she had picked up along the way including the ability to 'feel your feelings' 'At first it hurts and you will want to stop but you must persist until you feel the tension ease. Write freely without restriction or expectation. She also reiterated the importance of telling people close about feelings, adding: 'Tell people how you feel as often as possible! It will free you and save you pain! And the outcome could be better than worst case. Better than you imagine' She also waxed lyrical about the importance of keeping fit, but only up to a point. 'DO NOT exercise to punish yourself. Don't exercise out of pure vanity. Move to feel good. Dance, run, walk, stretch, do a star jump Whatever!' she exclaimed 'Exercise changes your life for the better, but only if you're listening to your body and enjoying it! Another life lesson Abbie imparted was the importance of recognising the transient nature of life. She wrote: 'Very few things in life are permanent, least of all your emotional state. When it's hard, don't panic, because change is coming. When it's easy, be grateful, because change is coming.' She also had some sage words for people in relationships too, adding: Relationships SHOULD NOT be hard! They are "work" yes, but hard is not the word. 'When there is natural love and respect, issues do not linger or fester. The person you are with should make you lighter.' Abbie's wise words were augmented by a catchy clip of boyfriend Adam Hyde celebrating his ladylove with an impromptu song. 'Birthday baby, it's the birthday queen,' Adam began singing over a simple beat while a bikini-clad Abbie danced seductively in the background. Adam's romantic tribute was full of swoonworthy lines guaranteed to make anyone's knees buckle. 'She's the best looking woman on top of the entire world, she sings for the men and she sings for the girls,' he sang. He continued: 'Every time I see her, I just want to weep, because she's more pretty than my favourite poems. '30 years young with wisdom on her tongue, you know she is my favourite, she's the world's favourite song.' Abbie also showed off her musical talent in the video, singing back up vocals of 'It's my birthday', as Adam continued his serenade. Adam's post was met with a flurry of comments from fans - with more than a few suggesting a full studio release. 'Bro, this is sooo catchy, I'm vibing,' one follower quipped while another jumped in with a similar: 'Release this NOW! Omg happy 30th bday Abbbbbbz.'
