Aubrey O'Day reveals how Sean Diddy Combs triggered her plastic surgery spiral

Time of India2 days ago
Aubrey O'Day is no stranger to the knife, or the spotlight, but in a raw new reveal, she is finally tracing the start of her cosmetic surgery addiction. In a recent episode of Botched Presents: Plastic Surgery Rewind, the Danity Kane alum emotionally opened up about how her time under Sean 'Diddy' Combs' management left lasting scars.
From girl group glam to
Aubrey O'Day's plastic regrets
The singer, now 41, got candid with Dr. Terry Dubrow about how her transformation journey began during her stint on MTV's Making the Band in the mid-2000s. She revealed that being labelled 'the sexy one' came with pressure that never really left her. The constant expectation to look hot, polished, and picture-perfect became her normal, until it spiralled into surgical obsession.
'Rewind' but not rewritten
As part of the show's retreat, Aubrey initially hoped to strip things back and explore a more natural version of herself. But after seeing the impressive results of other retreat participants, she admitted she felt tempted to go under the knife again. While half-joking, her confession showed how deep the urge still runs.
Dr. Dubrow, ever the voice of reason, reminded her that the goal of the retreat was to repair, not repeat. And though Aubrey still supports plastic surgery, she did express one standout regret: her lips. She called them uneven, duck-like, and a clear example of a surgeon pushing her past the limit without warning.
Aubrey addresses Diddy's verdict
Outside the cosmetic theatre, Aubrey is still processing the weight of Diddy's recent legal drama. After the rap mogul was convicted of transporting individuals for prostitution but cleared of sex trafficking and racketeering, she broke her silence on Instagram Stories.
She stated that the verdict did not erase the pain of countless individuals who had crossed paths with Diddy. The emotional aftermath of that verdict, she said, was something she was still unpacking, highlighting the cultural weight it carried, especially for survivors.
Celebs who joined the chorus against Diddy
Aubrey is not alone. Will Smith, Wendy Williams, and Eminem have also spoken out, some distancing themselves, others unleashing lyrical jabs or calling it long overdue. The whispers around Diddy are now full-blown headlines, and Aubrey's story adds another powerful voice to the conversation.

Did saree label 'Suta' copy a design from 'Rouka'? Designer Sreejith Jeevan calls out the brand for copying his design

Designer Sreejith Jeevan of Rouka by Sreejith Jeevan, has ignited a debate about plagiarism in Indian fashion. He subtly called out Suta, a popular saree brand, for allegedly copying his designs, particularly an ivory saree with red floral appliqué. While avoiding legal action due to resource constraints, Jeevan seeks acknowledgment of original work. There's fashion inspiration and then there's fashion imitation. And it looks like beloved saree label Suta may have crossed the line. In a heartfelt Instagram video posted on July 31, designer Sreejith Jeevan, the creative force behind Kerala-based brand Rouka by Sreejith Jeevan, finally addressed something that's clearly been bothering him (and many other designers) for a while now: plagiarism in fashion. While Sreejith didn't name names in the original video, his followers did all the talking. Soon after, Instagram Stories flooded in showing screenshots of a Suta saree that looked strikingly similar to one Rouka has been retailing, an ivory drape with red floral appliqué. Followers began tagging Suta directly, calling them out for what appeared to be a not-so-subtle copy. In his video, Sreejith admitted that this wasn't the first time his work had been 'borrowed.' Since 2015, he's been creating Onam collections that are deeply rooted in Kerala's culture and minimalism, something he's seen slowly being picked up (and not always credited) by brands whose aesthetic had never been remotely similar before. While he once brushed it off with the age-old 'imitation is the sincerest form of flattery,' he revealed that seeing a direct copy of a design from 2019-2020, right down to the artwork, was the final straw But what really struck a chord was how open he was about the emotional toll. Sreejith shared how people would DM him about the similarities but hesitate to speak up publicly. 'They'd message me screenshots and say, 'This looks like yours!' But when I asked them to call it out, they'd say, 'No no no, we can't put it out,'' he said. And honestly, he gets it. Not everyone wants to get into messy fashion fights. But that silence added to his sense of helplessness. Legal action? Not worth it, Sreejith explained. As an independent designer, spending time and money on court cases isn't practical. 'We don't want to pour resources into IP battles, we just want people to acknowledge where something came from,' he said. And that's exactly what happened this time. His brave decision to finally speak up triggered an outpouring of support from the fashion community, with many coming forward to say, 'Hey, Rouka did it first. ' While Suta hasn't officially responded yet, the internet is buzzing. One thing's for sure, conversations around design ethics and original creativity in Indian fashion are long overdue. And this incident? It's definitely sparked one.

Urvashi Rautela's Dior bag stolen from Gatwick airport, actor seeks help from London police

Actor Urvashi Rautela took to her Instagram account on Thursday to seek help from London police after her Dior bag went missing. She claimed that her luxury bag was stolen from the baggage belt after she landed at Wimbledon. She said she was flying on Emirates from Mumbai to London via Dubai. She took to her Instagram Stories and wrote, 'Injustice tolerated is injustice repeated.' She tagged Gatwick Airport, Emirates, and the Metropolitan Police in her post and added pictures of her boarding pass, baggage tag, and a first-class ticket to prove her claim. Her post read, 'Our @wimbledon @dior brown baggage was stolen from the belt at @gatwickairport after flying @emirates from Mumbai during #Wimbledon. Baggage tag & ticket above. Urgently requesting help to retrieve it.' Urvashi Rautela further used hashtags like #platinumemiratesmember and #gatwickairportpolice in her post to escalate the matter and seek urgent help. Her post has attracted mixed reactions from the netizens. While some did not believe the actor's claims, others expressed concerns. One user wrote in the comment section, 'I hope your Labubus are safe.' 'First Indian to lose baggage returning from Wimbledon,' added another.
