The Rolls-Royce Spectre Rose is a customised creation featuring rose motifs on the upholstery and a unique exterior. The company says the car was commissioned by a prominent client in the Middle East for her daughter. To achieve the desired effect, the craftsmen at Rolls-Royce created a new embroidery technique. Two shades of pink threads are blended, using a satin stitch to create a subtle gradient such that the embroidered roses have a three-dimensional look. A single hand-painted pink coach line runs along the flank of the Spectre. Around the world, Rolls-Royce has set up special creative hubs in places such as Dubai, Shanghai and Seoul, where invited clients can work with a designer to create their dream car. Along with these changes under its skin, it wears a new face – starting with the redesigned front grille with diagonal stripes – similar to the new X3. As with some of the newer BMWs, the border of the grille is now illuminated. The refreshed iX's daytime running lights in the headlamps are set at an angle, also taking reference from the newer generation of BMWs. The updated electric sport utility vehicle has 300kW, which is 60kW more than its previous rendition. This cuts the 0-100kmh sprint time to 5.1 seconds, an improvement of 1 second. In terms of operating range, the iX xDrive45 claims to be able to travel 602km before needing a recharge. This is up from 425km on the pre-updated iX xDrive40 model. Charging speed has also been upgraded from 150kW to 175kW. Hot voltage hatchback Performance EV: The Peugeot E-208 GTi is the brand's first electric hot hatchback. PHOTO: STELLANTIS French brand Peugeot is betting that it can transfer the appeal and character of the GTi badge from its combustion-engine models to the electric age with its new E-208 GTi. The five-door hatchback is one size smaller than the Volkswagen Golf GTI , but quicker. The Peugeot's 209kW front-mounted motor gives the car a 0-100kmh sprint time of 5.7 seconds, versus 6.6 seconds for the petrol-powered Volkswagen. The front axle has a limited-slip differential to enhance handling. The car's wheel tracks are wider than the standard E-208 hatchback. Both the suspension set-up and electronic stability program have been tuned to suit the GTi's more aggressive brief. The E-208 GTi is the first model to be fully designed by Peugeot Sport, the performance arm of Peugeot. The car has big shoes to fill, considering the high bar set by the Peugeot 205 GTi from the 1980s, long regarded as among the best hot hatchbacks in automotive history. Six-seater Bentley on auction MPV of sorts: Special Bentley Mulsanne is a six-seater limousine. The wheelbase has been stretched by 1,000mm and the height raised by 79mm. One of supposedly 12 units made , it has been listed in June on Collecting Cars, an online auction site. It has six individual seats; the two in the middle row are rear-facing. A privacy partition with adjustable opacity separates the front seats from the rest of the cabin. An intercom system and a quilted headliner split by a wood-veneered central spine, which houses the lighting and controls, are among other features that set the car apart from the regular Mulsanne. Mechanically, the Grand Limousine is identical to the standard Mulsanne, with a twin-turbocharged 6.75-litre V8 engine powering the rear wheels. Mike Roan has been running renewable power systems for 33 years. Straight out of university, he got a job at Whakamaru hydro power station on the upper Waikato River. And in two weeks' time, the 55 year old will step into the role of chief executive of Meridian, the country's biggest renewable power generation company. His family drives only EVs: a BMW iX SUV, and a Peugeot 208 "shopping trolley" for around town. The upfront cost is "challenging", he admits, but they pay themselves off. "And they're a bloody amazing piece of technology."

Bollywood Actress Dia Mirza Buys BMW iX Electric SUV Worth Rs 1.39 Crore
Bollywood celebrities are slowly adopting luxury electric vehicles, and the latest to join the list is Dia Mirza. The actress, known for her environmental activism, appears to be advancing her agenda with her latest purchase, a fully electric BMW iX. Classified as a luxurious electric vehicle in the Indian market, the EV comes at a starting price of Rs 1.39 crore (ex-showroom) and seems to be a perfect fit for the UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme) Ambassador's garage. The update on Dia Mirza's new BMW iX was shared on Instagram with pictures and videos of her taking the delivery. With this EV in her garage, the actress has joined the list of celebrities like Riteish Deshmukh, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Ibrahim Ali Khan as an owner of the vehicle. Additionally, the Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, has also been seen driving the vehicle. Dia Mirza's new EV also gets unique features, such as a hexagonal steering wheel and an extensive curved display that includes a 12.3-inch instrument panel and a 14.9-inch infotainment screen. The iX is also equipped with numerous features, such as an electrochromic panoramic glass roof and multi-functional seats that offer memory and massage capabilities. Dia Mirza's BMW iX xDrive50 comes packed with a 111.5 kWh battery pack, which offers a WLTP range of 635 km on a single charge. The charge from the battery is transferred to two electric motors, one placed on each axle, giving it all-wheel-drive capacity. The combined output of these motors is rated at 523 hp and 765 Nm torque. When put to use, they can propel the SUV from zero to 100 kmph in 4.6 seconds. The battery can be charged from 10 percent to 80 percent in approximately 35 minutes using a 195 kW DC charger, in 97 minutes with a 50 kW DC charger, in roughly 5.5 hours with a 22 kW AC charger, and in about 11 hours when using an 11 kW AC charger.

More power and improved range: Updated BMW iX now in Singapore, Lifestyle News
The updated BMW iX is now in Singapore, and the German luxury electric SUV now features more power and improved range, alongside a minor refresh in its styling. The new iX was unveiled at an event held at New Bahru on June 5, and while the car looks fairly similar to the pre-facelift model externally, there are some slight enhancements to distinguish it as a new model. The most obvious ones are the diagonal LED elements in the headlight design, in place of the previous version's horizontal design. The grille design features diagonal lines within it as well, replacing the previous model's diamond/triangle pattern. It is also framed by the BMW Iconic Grille lighting element as standard now. For the first time, BMW will be offering the iX with an M Sport trim package in Singapore, which includes gloss black front air intakes, 21-inch M Sport rims and vertical reflectors on the lower rear bumper. The standard Sport trim will still be available, and it features more body-coloured design elements like on the lower front bumper for a more streamlined look. However, the main changes to the iX are under the skin. The sole drivetrain variant available is now the xDrive45, instead of the xDrive40 previously. That indicates an increase in power, and the BMW iX now produces a total of 402hp and 700Nm of torque, up from 322hp and 630Nm of torque. As a result, the car can now go from 0-100km/h in 5.1 seconds, one full second quicker than the outgoing model. The battery has now been reengineered, and now delivers a capacity of 94.8kWh, up from 71kWh previously. This means that the new BMW iX xDrive45 now has a range of 602km, a 40 per cent increase over the xDrive40's 425km range. Prices for the updated BMW iX xDrive45 start at $451,888 with COE (as of June 2025) for the Sport variant, while the M Sport version goes for $473,888, inclusive of COE.
