Linkin Park Reaches A Career Landmark For The First Time
Linkin Park's 'In the End' celebrates 100 weeks on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart — the ... More band's first triple-digit-charter on the worldwide tally. TOKYO - JULY 07: Chester Bennington of Linkin Park performs on stage at the Tokyo leg of the Live Earth series of concerts, at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on July 7, 2007 in Tokyo, Japan. Launched by former US Vice President Al Gore to combat Global Warming, the concert is one of a series taking place over a 24-hour period on July 7 across seven continents. (Photo by) 'In the End' is the song that started it all for Linkin Park, so it makes sense that the tune remains the most popular in the band's discography. Even after decades of smashes and successful albums, no other cut has been able to top 'In the End' in the Grammy-winning act's catalog, as people all around the world continue to buy and stream the track. The single, which somehow appealed to everyone from the most intense hard rock superfan to top 40 pop lovers, helps Linkin Park reach a new milestone on one of Billboard's worldwide tallies this week. 'In the End' Hits a Milestone 100 Weeks 'In the End' has now lived on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. for 100 weeks. That list ranks the most consumed tracks all around the world — excluding streams and sales coming from American listeners — as it aims to paint a picture of what the rest of the planet is listening to. This moment is a first for Linkin Park, as 'In the End' is the band's only tune to rack up triple-digit stays on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Following behind the introductory single is 'Numb,' which is now up to 81 weeks on the tally, a figure it adds to once again this time around. 'The Emptiness Machine' follows in third, with only 43 appearances on the same roster. 'In the End' Never Hit the Top 40 Despite its longevity, 'In the End' has never managed to crack the top 40 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., though it has come close. Last fall, when Linkin Park began to roll out music from its then-forthcoming comeback album From Zero, 'In the End' rocketed to No. 42, which remains its all-time high. The hard rock tune originally arrived in October 2020, when Billboard's global rankings were still brand new. This week, it dips slightly to No. 70, falling just one space. Linkin Park Scores Multiple Worldwide Wins 'In the End' also ranks as Linkin Park's sturdiest hit on the Billboard Global 200. On that ranking, the cut reached 100 weeks less than a month ago. At the moment, it sits just two spaces behind where it lands on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Linkin Park fills a trio of spots on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. at present, as 'In the End,' 'Numb,' and 'The Emptiness Machine' all find space. 'In the End' is also a hit in America, as it rises on the Alternative Streaming Songs chart and holds at No. 1 yet again on the Hard Rock Streaming Songs tally.

Lady Gaga Blocked From An All-Time Record By Music's Hottest Newcomer
Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars scored one of the biggest global hits in recent memory with "Die With a Smile," and they have the chart records to prove it. The tune lived at No. 1 on both of Billboard's worldwide rankings for months, but all successful runs must come to an end eventually. The Grammy-winning collaboration recently stepped aside from the throne on the Billboard Global 200, and it has also now moved on from the top of the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. as well. It looked for a while like the cut might have been on its way to making history and breaking an all-time record, but its impressive winning streak has finally come to an end—at least for now. "Die With a Smile" earned 17 stays atop the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., including the past six frames in a row. This week, it slips to No. 2, making way for a newcomer who has just scored the biggest hit around the world. "Ordinary" by Alex Warren steps up to the summit on this ranking for the first time. The track reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 several weeks ago but had been kept from the top spot on the list that excludes all streaming and sales activity from America… until now. The two tunes swap spaces, and Gaga and Mars may not be able to recover. "Die With a Smile" ranks as the track with the second-most weeks at No. 1 in the history of the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. It is just two frames away from tying the all-time record — which Mars also claims with another musician. His duet with Blackpink singer Rosé, "Apt.," collected a total of 19 stays in the penthouse and was in direct competition with "Die With a Smile" for a long stretch of that time. While it's possible that "Die With a Smile" could return to the top, "Ordinary" has some real momentum behind it. Global audiences appear to still be waking up to the track, and it could lead for quite some time. That said, the throwback-sounding duet likely won't disappear anytime soon. In fact, it could remain inside the top 10 for several more months, as it has already been living in that region since last fall. This is not the first time that "Die With a Smile" has been dethroned on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. The tune first reached No. 1 in early September 2024. It reigned for two months before "Apt." replaced it. Throughout 2025, those two tracks have traded positions multiple times.

Lady Gaga's Early Career Singles Soar To New Peaks Post-Coachella
After two weeks headlining Coachella, Lady Gaga's catalog is performing better than it has in some time. It's not so much her newer tracks from her latest album Mayhem, which arrived just a few weeks ago and dominated the Billboard charts upon release, but her older cuts that are back in the spotlight. Following her back-to-back main stage performances, some of the classics that turned the singer and actress into a global powerhouse have once again become worldwide hits, climbing higher than ever. Gaga currently holds five spots on both of Billboard's worldwide tallies — the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Two of her most familiar tracks rise to never-before-seen heights this frame thanks to an uptick in sales and streams, a surge clearly tied to her Coachella showings. Of the two growing cuts, "Poker Face" ascends the highest. That track, one of Gaga's true breakout hits, reaches new peaks of No. 63 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and No. 72 on the Billboard Global 200. At the same time, "Bad Romance" also improves its standing. The track only debuted on these two tallies last week and now soars to new peaks. The Grammy-winning tune jumps from No. 172 to No. 149 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. Meanwhile, it rises more modestly on the Billboard Global 200, climbing from No. 186 to No. 168 in just its second frame on the list. As "Poker Face" and "Bad Romance" soar, Gaga also earns a new hit on both tallies. "Judas," taken from her 2011 album Born This Way, debuts at No. 147 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and No. 195 on the Billboard Global 200, as it barely makes space on the 200-spot roster of the most-consumed tracks worldwide. Gaga even manages to see another hugely successful single return to one of the two planet-spanning charts. "Shallow," her collaboration with A Star Is Born co-star Bradley Cooper, which won her both a Grammy and an Oscar, reappears on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., landing at No. 174 in its two-hundred-and-first frame on the tally. Two of Gaga's most recent releases are still performing exceptionally well, as she occupies a pair of spots inside the top 10 on the two tallies. "Die With a Smile," a duet with Bruno Mars, holds at No. 1 on both global rankings yet again. "Abracadabra," the current focus track from Mayhem, climbs back into the uppermost tier, settling at No. 8 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and one spot beneath that on the Billboard Global 200.

Lady Gaga's Decade-Old Single Debuts On Multiple Billboard Charts
Lady Gaga's Coachella performance revives 'Judas,' which debuts on Billboard's global charts over a ... More decade after release, driven by renewed interest and streaming. INDIO, CALIFORNIA - APRIL 11: (FOR EDITORIAL USE ONLY) (EXCLUSIVE ACCESS) Lady Gaga performs at the Coachella Stage during the 2025 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival at Empire Polo Club on April 11, 2025 in Indio, California. (Photo byfor Coachella) After headlining both weekends of Coachella, Lady Gaga experienced substantial gains on streaming platforms and in terms of pure sales of her songs and albums. The singer first saw her music climbing on Spotify and iTunes, and then later, on the Billboard charts, following weekend one of the event. She returned for the second weekend and once again promoted not only her new album Mayhem to the massive crowd, but also highlighted some older tunes – the classics that made her a superstar. Following the second weekend of the music festival, Gaga once again enjoys a significant growth on a number of charts. Her back-to-back performances have helped earn her another global hit — not with something brand new or even a tune featured on her latest full-length, but rather a single she dropped well over a decade ago. 'Judas' is Gaga's sole new hit on Billboard's worldwide rankings this frame. It opens at No. 147 on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. and kicks off its run on the Billboard Global 200 at No. 195, narrowly managing to sneak onto the latter tally. The difference between the similarly-named rosters is that the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., as its name suggests, omits all sales and streaming data from America in an effort to reflect what the rest of the planet is listening to. Gaga has claimed nearly the same number of hits on both tallies. 'Judas' is her eighteenth placement on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., and she has now scored nineteen wins on the Billboard Global 200. As it arrives, 'Judas' becomes Gaga's lowest-peaking track on the Billboard Global 200, a distinction previously held by 'Don't Call Tonight' from her latest full-length, which topped out at No. 183. 'Judas' is her second-lowest performer on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., narrowly beating 'Bad Romance' by just two spaces, as that Grammy-winning cut stalled at No. 149. 'Judas' was released as the second single from Gaga's Born This Way, her sophomore full-length, which arrived in May 2011. The promotional cut dropped just a few weeks prior, following the title track, which became another huge smash for the singer. A heavy electro banger, the track divided listeners. Some enjoyed its thumping beat, while others were concerned by its religious iconography and themes. Despite some controversy, it became a top 10 hit in numerous nations, including the U.S., where it peaked at No. 10 on the Hot 100, giving Gaga another placement inside that competitive tier.

Lady Gaga's Early Career Single Is Finally A Global Hit — 15 Years After Its Release
Lady Gaga was always destined to steal the show at Coachella as the biggest headliner at the festival this year. The singer delivered a set that thrilled the thousands who packed the desert grounds — and countless more who tuned in via livestream. Whenever a major star commands the main stage at the event, a noticeable bump in streams, sales, and general consumption often follows. Gaga's new debuts on a handful of Billboard charts show she's no exception, as one track in particular even manages to become a global hit years after its initial release. "Bad Romance" has always been one of Lady Gaga's most recognizable tracks. It's a true pop classic that helped define her early years of superstardom. Shockingly, the dark, dramatic dance-pop anthem had never appeared on Billboard's global rankings…but that changed this week. Following Gaga's Coachella set, "Bad Romance" opens on both the Billboard Global 200 and the Billboard Global Excl. U.S. On the former, which offers a worldwide look at the most popular tunes each week, the cut starts its run at No. 186. Over on the latter list, which removes data from the U.S. to better reflect international popularity, "Bad Romance" earns an even stronger showing, debuting at No. 172. Throughout her career, Gaga has shown she can command attention anywhere on the planet. Before this week, the pop powerhouse had already landed 16 tracks on the Billboard Global Excl. U.S., and now "Bad Romance" joins that group and makes it 17. Meanwhile, on the broader Billboard Global 200, she's earned 18 stays somewhere on the roster. These updated figures also include some newer additions to her catalog. Earlier this year, Gaga unleashed her latest full-length Mayhem, which produced a number of worldwide smashes, including a few that debuted on the tally the week the set was new and then disappeared. Some fans might be shocked to learn that "Bad Romance" is only just now making its debut on Billboard's two global tallies. That's not to say the song wasn't a massive hit internationally when it first dropped. Quite the opposite, actually. Upon its release, "Bad Romance" dominated charts around the world and became a defining cut of the late 2000s. Billboard didn't launch its two global rankings until several years ago, long after "Bad Romance" had peaked. Because of that timing, many older hits never had the chance to appear. It's actually fairly common for beloved classics to only chart when something extraordinary happens — like a career-defining Coachella headlining set. "Bad Romance" isn't Gaga's only worldwide smash at the moment. This week, the superstar fills four spots on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. U.S. lists. Alongside the debut of "Bad Romance," two more of Gaga's hits — "Abracadabra" and "Poker Face" — grow on both rankings. Meanwhile, her collaboration with Bruno Mars, "Die With a Smile," holds steady at No. 1 on each list for another frame.
