Irish star CJ Fulton to play NBA Summer League basketball with Minnesota Timberwolves
Belfast's CJ Fulton's professional career has started with a bang as he has confirmed that he has signed to play for the Minnesota Timberwolves Summer League team in Las Vegas in July. Fulton, a 6'3 point guard, developed a reputation in NCAA basketball as a classic floor general, who can run a team without turning over the ball (he was a consistent leader in the NCAA in assist to turnover ratio). That reputation got him on the radar of the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Denver Nuggets, both of whom invited Fulton to pre-draft workouts. Although Fulton went undrafted in this week's NBA Draft, he had clearly left a mark on the upper brass of the Minnesota Timberwolves, as their President of Basketball Operations, Tim Connelly, outlined their desire to add Fulton to the Summer League squad, despite not taking him with their 17th or 45th pick. Fulton announced on Instagram that he is heading to Vegas, marking the next step in a brilliant career to date. The Timberwolves schedule starts on July 10th, with a matchup with the New Orleans Pelicans. They will also face Phoenix, Denver and Detroit. The Timberwolves had turnover issues around star Anthony Edwards last year, ranking in the bottom third of turnover percentage in the NBA. With veteran Mike Conley close to retirement, they need a steady playmaker to run the team. The 8th pick in the 2024 draft, Rob Dillingham (from Kentucky), played in just over half of the team's games last year and he is expected to take a major jump at this year's Summer League. Whether that helps or hinders CJ's case for a spot on a roster will remain to be seen. Realistically, though, regardless of the Wolves' own plans, this is an amazing shop window to show what CJ is capable of against top-level competition. The eyes of the NBA, their development league (the G-League) and top European teams will all be on Vegas to see what Ireland's brightest star is capable of doing on the biggest stage. Come the end of July, it will become much clearer where CJ's first meaningful professional contract will actually be signed.

Woman humiliated when wrongly suspected of shoplifting at PAK'nSAVE gets apology
Photo: RNZ / Marika Khabazi PAK'nSAVE Henderson has apologised to a customer for being wrongly suspected of shoplifting. In a Facebook post on Tuesday, the store said a customer, CJ, had been approached by staff in a way that caused her public embarrassment, distress, and a deep sense of humiliation on 5 April. "We fully acknowledge that this incident should never have happened. "The way the situation was handled - both in the moment and in the way her complaint was managed afterward - fell well below the standard we expect of ourselves. "The accusation made against CJ was completely unfounded, and we extend our heartfelt and unreserved apology for the harm caused." PAK'nSAVE Henderson said it took full responsibility, and while it had a duty to address retail crime, it must never come at the expense of respect, dignity, and fairness. "In this case, we got it wrong - and the consequences were unacceptable." The store said it was urgently reviewing its training, protocols, and escalation procedures to ensure no other customer is subjected to the same kind of treatment. "Accountability starts with us, and meaningful change will follow. "To CJ - we are truly sorry for what you went through. You deserved better." RNZ have contacted Foodstuffs for comment.

Contempt case: Kunal excused from appearing before HC
1 2 Kolkata: Calcutta High Court on Monday dispensed with the personal appearance of Kunal Ghosh and other accused in a contempt of court case concerning a ruckus in front of chambers of high court lawyers at Old Post Office Street and Kiran Shankar Roy Road on April 25. The division bench of justices Arijit Banerjee, Sabyasachi Bhattacharyya and Rajarshi Bharadwaj excused the personal appearance upon an undertaking that the alleged contemnors would appear as and when directed by the court. Senior counsel for the accused, Kalyan Bandyopadhyay, opened his argument by pleading that the bench didn't have the jurisdiction to issue a contempt rule. "The CJ on his administrative side assigned the matter to the special bench. It was not a judicial order," he argued. Citing rules under the Calcutta High Court Contempt of Courts Act, 1975, Bandyopadhyay pleaded that the HC could issue a contempt rule on "its own motion" after hearing petitions of contempt that were moved before the bench. Bandyopadhyay pointed out that no such petition had been moved before the division bench of CJ TS Sivagnanam and Justice Chaitali Chatterjee (Das) a day after the incident.

"Ah shit, here we go again": The story behind GTA's most famous quote
Source: Rockstar Games Rockstar Games' Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas released in 2004, and few one-liners have held up so well as CJ's exhausted, "Ah shit, here we go again." What started out as a quote in an opening cutscene soon grew to be a cultural touchstone, taking over memes, social media, and even celebrity endeavors. Let's break down why the generic phrase came to be the internet's boilerplate expression for dealing with yet another headache. Why "Ah shit, here we go again" is GTA's greatest meme line Right at the beginning of San Andreas, CJ returns to Los Santos, to be instantly dumped right back into gangland theatrics. After being hassled, he lets out a deep breath, "Ah shit, here we go again" and we're with him. That one line exactly sums dread and resignation. Even though the game came out in 2004, it wasn't until a 2015 YouTube upload by ZMOONCHILD that the meme began gaining traction online. Jump forward to April 2019: green-screened versions of CJ walking into any situation went viral. One tweet from @ChaoticGeekCG gained thousands of retweets, giving birth to infinite mashups, from Kratos falling into battles to humorous TikToks. Today, the meme runs through subreddits, Instagram reels, and TikTok in fashion, solidly established as pop culture shorthand for, "Brace yourself, trouble's here." How the meme entered mainstream culture and why it endures The appeal San Andreas retains today revolves around its quotable lines and raw yet humorous tone. "Ah shit, here we go again" encapsulates that daily fatigue everyone is familiar with: waking up on Monday, handling drama, or watching a clichéd TV cliche for the umpteenth time. The tone of the meme makes it ideal for innumerable settings and that's why celebrities and even musicians have jumped on the bandwagon through collaborations, remixes, and viral content. Even mainstream outlets such as the Daily Dot feature it as the definitive meme for frustration and burnout. Ah shit here we go again meme compilation From a gritty cutscene in 2004 to TikTok gold gone viral in 2025, CJ's timelessness line demonstrates the strength of simplicity. In fewer than five words, "Ah shit, here we go again" evokes universal sentiments of fear, boredom, and irony. It's not only a meme, it's a mood. And as long as life is going to throw curveballs, CJ's sigh of weariness will remain our anthem. 5 GTA 6 easter eggs Rockstar can include in GTA 6
(Image via Rockstar) If there's one thing Rockstar always delivers besides chaos and controversy, it's easter eggs. Whether it's Bigfoot in San Andreas or the UFOs in GTA 5, the devs are known for stuffing their worlds with cheeky secrets, spooky nods, and pop culture throwbacks. And with GTA 6 shaping up to be the biggest game in the series yet, you know Rockstar's gonna go wild. Here are 5 easter eggs we absolutely expect to see in GTA 6, either because they're iconic, long overdue, or just so Rockstar-coded it hurts. 1. Another Bigfoot Cameo They teased us with Bigfoot for years, and finally gave us a full-on encounter in GTA 5. But let's be real: Bigfoot's basically family now. With Leonida's swamps and backwoods, the setting is perfect for a creepy cryptid comeback. Expect grainy sightings, spooky shadows, or even a mission that makes you question if Bigfoot's real or just some guy in a ghillie suit. Why Tommy Vercetti Must Return in GTA 6 2. A Tommy Vercetti Tribute Somewhere in Vice City Vice City isn't Vice City without the original legend: Tommy Vercetti. Whether it's a mural, a statue, or an old abandoned mansion full of 80s memorabilia, we're betting Rockstar throws in a tribute to the OG kingpin. They have to. Fans will lose it if there's even a 'Vercetti Enterprises' office somewhere. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Hasta 8 meses de protección Seresto Encuéntralo Undo Bonus points if it's hidden and only accessible during a specific time of day. Classic Rockstar. 3. Aliens Again, But Weirder Aliens have been a GTA staple since forever, indicated by crop circles, crashed UFOs, and even secret government bases. But Leonida's strange mix of wetlands, beaches, and sketchy redneck zones gives Rockstar room to take it further. 4. A GTA 5 Farewell Hidden in the World GTA 5 ran for over a decade. That's longer than some friendships. Rockstar has to give it a send-off. Maybe a broken-down car that looks like Franklin's Buffalo. Or a shrine to 'three legends from Los Santos.' Something emotional, subtle, and 100% Rockstar. You might laugh. You might cry. You'll definitely screenshot it. Why CJ Must Return in GTA 6 5. CJ or Grove Street References ' Ah s **, here we go again*.' You just read that in CJ's voice, didn't you? Grove Street and San Andreas left a cultural dent, and Rockstar knows it. Whether it's graffiti tags, a track on the radio, or some old NPC muttering CJ's iconic line, a San Andreas nod is guaranteed. We'd bet our last in-game dollar on it. GTA 6 is already looking stacked, but let's be honest — the easter eggs are the real cherry on top. Rockstar's gonna flex hard on the nostalgia, the inside jokes, and the WTF moments. And we're 100% here for it. Keep your eyes peeled, because Leonida isn't just packed with crime — it's packed with secrets. Game On Season 1 kicks off with Sakshi Malik's inspiring story.
