(Video) Thai Hot Guys' Appearance In PJ This Weekend Draws Flak From Locals
After announcing plans to open a Thai restaurant in Malaysia, the viral Thai Hot Guys will be making an appearance in the Klang Valley later this week. Unfortunately, the news isn't so well-received. Yesterday, local social media personality Caprice shared a video on his Instagram account, revealing that the four members of Thai Hot Guys would be making an appearance at Mattress Premium Outlet (MPO) in Petaling Jaya this weekend. The event, titled 'Thai Hunk Coming To MPO', is scheduled for 26th July 2025 (Saturday) and will include meet-and-greets with the viral influencers. A quick check on MPO and the Thai Hot Guys members' social media pages confirmed the event. An announcement post also revealed that fans can win a chance to meet the four internet personalities. The event will be held at the MPO Showroom in Petaling Jaya from 11am to 5pm. While the meet-and-greet received interest from fans, it also drew flak from Malaysian netizens. In his post about the event, Caprice tagged local authorities and the Immigration department, urging them to block the Thai Hot Guys from entering Malaysia and attending the event. The comments also argued that the event is disrespectful to the local culture, given the controversial content the Thai Hot Guys are known for. Others also questioned how MPO had received approval to hold the event. As of writing, MPO hasn't responded to the backlash. However, it's worth noting that the Thai Hot Guys are likely only attending the event to promote the store and might not engage in their typical sexy content. The group also faced similar backlash after announcing plans to open a restaurant in Malaysia. However, owners Dee and Wow explained that the restaurant will not have the dancing concept as the group wants to respect Malaysian culture. We hope MPO can clarify this event as soon as possible to avoid any more controversy. However, can an explanation change the public's perception? What are your thoughts on this? I was only defending myself, says MMA fighter in viral video
KUALA LUMPUR: The 22-year-old amateur mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter seen in a viral video knocking out a security guard outside a condominium in Selangor said he was simply "defending himself". In an interview with local personality Caprice on Instagram (@capricedaddycap), Tony Lim said he was provoked and had acted in self-defence. "When I talk in a simple way, I will say that the guy provoked me. So, I just defended myself," he said. Lim said the incident followed an earlier confrontation involving the same security guard and another resident, which had also been caught on video. The first video that went viral is on Lim having an argument with a resident. According to Lim, tensions escalated when he went downstairs last Thursday night and was confronted by the same security guard, accompanied by two individuals whom he believed to be his bosses. "He pointed at me and the bosses asked me if I was the one who viral-ed and commented on the video?" Lim denied being responsible for spreading the video. Lim said the guard had been dismissed from his duties and reiterated that his actions were solely to protect himself. "As an MMA practitioner, we just want to defend ourselves against this. I don't want to provoke this," Lim added.

'CEO Batu' claims trial to indecent exposure involving teen
KUALA LUMPUR: A social media influencer known as "CEO Batu" was charged at the Ampang Sessions Court today with exposing his genitals to a 14-year-old girl two months ago. The accused, Muhammad Iqbal Muhamad, 22, pleaded not guilty when the charge was read before Judge Norshila Kamarudin. According to the charge sheet, Muhammad Iqbal allegedly committed non-physical sexual abuse by exposing his genitals to the teenager near Sunway Batu Caves at 1.16am on May 16. He was charged under Section 15(a)(1) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017, which carries a maximum penalty of 10 years' imprisonment, a fine of up to RM20,000, or both, upon conviction. Deputy public prosecutor Nadiah Malek Fauzie requested bail to be set at RM10,000 with one surety, citing the accused's public profile and the virality of the case. However, defence lawyer Mohd Anih Rafih appealed for a reduced bail of RM6,000, arguing that his client was currently unemployed and that his social media accounts had been suspended by the authorities. "The accused is also caring for his grandfather, who suffers from a heart condition and requires monthly treatment at the National Heart Institute. "He is willing to comply with additional bail conditions, including reporting to the police and surrendering his passport. "Furthermore, he will not interfere with prosecution witnesses, as his mobile phone has been seized and he no longer has access to his social media platforms," said the lawyer. The court set bail at RM6,000 with one surety and imposed further conditions prohibiting contact with the victim and requiring the accused to report to the police once a month until the conclusion of the case. The court set Aug 14 for case mention. It was earlier reported that the influencer had been arrested for allegedly sending obscene messages to a 14-year-old girl. He was initially remanded on May 23. The arrest followed public backlash after fellow influencer and singer Caprice exposed screenshots of messages allegedly sent by Muhammad Iqbal to the teenager. Caprice claimed he was contacted by the girl's mother, who sought his help after her daughter was allegedly sexually harassed by the influencer. Among the screenshots shared on social media were explicit messages and an indecent image allegedly sent by the accused, purportedly to show a surgical scar. The influencer was also said to have sent a follow-up message apologising to the girl's mother and requesting a meeting to resolve the matter.

Influencer to be charged with child sexual harassment, possession of obscene images
KUALA LUMPUR: A social media influencer will be charged in court tomorrow over a case involving non-physical sexual harassment of a child. Selangor police chief Datuk Hussein Omar Khan said the suspect is expected to be charged under Section 15(a)(i) of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017 for non-physical sexual assault on a child, at the Ampang Court tomorrow. The charge carries a maximum of 10 years' imprisonment or a maximum of RM 20,000 fine, or both, upon conviction. "The suspect will also face a separate charge under Section 292(a) of the Penal Code for possessing obscene images on a mobile phone, which will be heard at the Selayang Court on Friday," he said. It was reported that police detained the 22-year-old influencer for allegedly sending obscene messages to a 14-year-old and was initially ordered to be remanded from May 23. This comes after the influencer faced public backlash after singer and fellow influencer Caprice revealed several messages allegedly of a sexual nature that were sent to the underage teenager. In a series of posts on his Instagram feed and Stories, Caprice said he was contacted by the girl's mother, who sought his help after her daughter was allegedly sexually harassed by the influencer. Among the screenshots shared were messages and an indecent photo allegedly sent by the influencer to the woman's daughter, supposedly to show a surgery scar. The influencer also sent another message apologising to the girl's mother and requesting a meeting to resolve the matter.

Caprice, 53, flashes her underwear in a dress inspired by her 90s heyday as she attends the National Film Awards after revealing the secret to her sexy lad's mags looks
She's still got the same physique that sent fans wild back in the 1990s. And Caprice showed that even in her 50s, she can still recreate the same sexy looks that made her a favourite in lads mags, as she attended the National Film Awards in London on Wednesday. The model, 53, flashed her underwear in a racy sheer white fringed dress as she joined a slew of stars at the glitzy event. Flaunting her jaw-dropping figure in the daring dress, Caprice set pulses racing as she made her grand entrance, with the look eerily similar to one she sported in 2001. The former Celebrity Big Brother star was joined by names including Strictly Come Dancing professional Nadiya Bychkova, Jess Impiazzi and Anita Dobson. In a recent shoot with Loaded, Caprice threw it back to her lads mags heyday, during which she starred on 250 covers. The model flashed her underwear in a racy sheer white fringed dress as she joined a slew of stars at the glitzy event The model has revealed she's had to work for her jaw-dropping physique, admitting she has been on a strict diet and fitness regime for decades. 'Honestly, it's discipline,' she confessed. 'I play a lot of tennis and I go running when I can. I try to stay active most days, even if it's just a long walk.' Her biggest hack though is cutting out carbs, revealing how she recently 'eliminated carbs and lost 20 pounds'. 'The first month was rough, but now it's second nature. I feel stronger, I sleep better, and I've got so much more energy—it's been a total game-changer The California-born star has also bought in to the wellness hype, championed by the likes of Gwyneth Paltrow, as she gushed: 'I'm a big believer in overall wellness too. I start every morning with a smoothie and a ridiculous number of supplements. Wellness is part of my life.' Whilst Caprice is enjoying the trip down memory lane with her new bikini shoot, she has plenty of other ventures that have boosted her bank balance and kept her busy in recent years. She made her first million at 25 and after a wise property investment in Surrey, has continued to build her property portfolio alongside her booming lingerie business which is said to have bagged her £24million. The model has revealed she's had to work for her jaw-dropping physique, admitting she has been on a strict diet and fitness regime for decades (pictured in a 2000 swimwear shoot) Her childhood dream though was to act and after realising she wasn't getting cast in lead roles, she simply decided to make her own movies, launching her own film company, JJLove Productions 'named after my boys Jett and Jax.' She shoots multiple films a year, with her latest movie, A Scottish Christmas Secret, hitting Channel 5 later this year. She has also moved on from her reality TV years, which saw her appear on everything from Celebrity Big Brother to Celebs On The Farm. Now a mother of 11-year-old boys with her film producer husband Ty Comfort, she says she won't let them watch reality shows, declaring: 'I'm done with toxic TV.' 'I'm blessed to have this platform, and I want to use it for good—to make a positive difference in people's lives,' she said. She previously admitted she would not have had the guts to start making movies and pursue new business ventures without the courage gained from surviving a brain tumour. Caprice was training for the winter sports reality show The Jump in 2017 when a scan revealed the terrible news. She later underwent an operation which involved surgeons taking off part of her skull to remove the tumour. The star is now a proud patron for Brain Tumour Research.
