USC Commit Details Lincoln Riley Party During Visit

USC Commit Details Lincoln Riley Party During Visit originally appeared on Athlon Sports. One USC 2026 commit took in the sights and sounds of an epic block party while visiting the Trojans. At the home of his future college football head coach Lincoln Riley, nonetheless. Advertisement Riley took official visits to a new level, as college head coaches everywhere are getting more creative during a new summer recruiting period. June allowed coaches like Riley everywhere to host recruits on official visits -- a first ever as officials are often held during the regular season. Running back commit Deshonne Redeaux of Oaks Christian High experienced Riley's block party, he shared with Gerard Martinez of 247Sports. How was Riley able to shut down his block? USC Trojans head coach Lincoln Riley. Jonathan Hui-Imagn Images "Man, that was a good time," Redeaux began with Martinez. "He shut the whole block down. It was a block party with food trucks and everybody came together. It was just a really good time." Riley bought a $17 million mansion in Palos Verdes Estates back in 2022, right after he got named the Trojans head coach. Redeaux likely got a chance to see the 13,000 square foot venue Riley lives in with his family. His house features a five-car garage, built in elevator, a built-in movie theater, a putting green for golf and a tennis court. Palos Verdes Estates is known as one of the more affluent neighborhoods of L.A. It's a coastal city that is located approximately 45 minutes south of the USC campus. Redeaux got the chance to take in Riley's neighborhood with the other recruits on hand. The four-star concludes he aims to bring back a championship legacy to the Land of Troy. Deshonne Redeaux is serving as a recruiter for USC

Deshonne Redeaux is serving as a recruiter for USC USC football recruiting is being powered by the administrators, but one running back is trying to do his part USC is currently putting together an elite 2026 recruiting class. Under new general manager Chad Bowden, the Trojans have the No. 1 class in the country for the 2026 cycle, and do not show any signs of slowing down any time soon. One of USC's commits in the class is four-star running back Deshonne Redeaux. Since committing to the Trojans a month ago, Redeaux has been trying to recruit other top prospects to join him at USC. At the Under Armour Next Camp on Sunday, Redeaux spoke to Gerard Martinez of 247Sports about his role in helping to put together the Trojans' class. "I'm recruiting [four-star safety] Davon Benjamin, [four-star wide receiver] Vance Spafford—Vance and I played seven-on-seven together and have been friends ever since," Redeaux said. "I've been talking to him and [five-star tight end] Mark Bowman as well. "I don't know Mark personally, but I've talked to him." Redeaux was particularly effusive about the Trojans' offensive line class. "I'll keep doing my recruiting, but I think we'll get the big boys we want," Redeaux said. "We got [five-star offensive tackle Keenyi] Pepe and I have a relationship with him that goes back to Carson. We went to school together and everything. We played together with the Cali Bears, to Carson Colts and then Lace Facts. "We basically grew up together. The recruiting class is like a brotherhood. We all know each other and grew up playing together or against each other." Chad Bowden does not seem to need much help in recruiting players to USC. But having a guy like Redeaux assisting in his efforts certainly cannot hurt.
