Juthoor Summit achieves milestone success, strengthens Bahraini-Emirati AI partnership
Juthoor (Roots) Summit, the New Gen AI Summit, concluded Exhibition World Bahrain in the presence of Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, along with distinguished figures from the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, and other GCC countries. From Bahrain to Washington: Juthoor Goes Global Reflecting the summit's growing international dimension, it was announced that the next edition of 'Juthoor' will be held in Washington, D.C., elevating the summit to a new level of global influence and extending its roots from Bahrain to the heart of the world, carrying a message of knowledge, integration, and empowerment of the Arab individual in the digital age. Towards Youth and Research Initiatives in Artificial Intelligence At the conclusion of the summit, a number of key recommendations were issued, foremost among them the launch of specialised training and research initiatives in artificial intelligence and future professions, targeting youth and entrepreneurs in the region. These initiatives will be developed in collaboration with regional and international partners, supporting the Arab digital transformation agenda and empowering Arab individuals to play an active role in shaping the future of technology, rather than merely adapting to it. Festival Returns Bigger
The second edition of the Bahrain Summer Toy Festival is set to be twice as big this year, offering families a packed season of entertainment from July 1st to August 5th at Exhibition World Bahrain. The Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) has announced that tickets are now available online through Platinumlist, allowing guests to plan ahead for a smoother, more convenient experience. General admission is priced at BD 3, with a fast-entry option at BD 6 and a family package for five at BD 12. Expanded Offerings Following a successful debut, this year's festival will occupy double the space, with a wider range of attractions. Highlights include Arabic and English theatrical performances, creative workshops, immersive gaming zones, and exclusive live meet-and-greet sessions with beloved cartoon characters. Organised in collaboration with Beyon's Al Dana Amphitheater and Spacetoon, the festival brings together globally recognised entertainment and educational brands under one roof. Family-Focused Vision With affordable ticketing and all-day access to activities, the festival aims to position Bahrain as a leading summer destination for families across the region. The BTEA described the event as a safe, vibrant space where children can engage in cultural and recreational activities. The festival is part of Bahrain's broader year-round calendar of tourism events, designed to strengthen the Kingdom's appeal as a diverse and welcoming hub.

EWB participates in IMEX Frankfurt 2025
Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB) wrapped up its participation at IMEX Frankfurt 2025, held from 20 to 22 May in Frankfurt, Germany. As one of the leading international exhibitions for the meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions (MICE) industry, IMEX Frankfurt 2025 brought together thousands of professionals and suppliers from across the globe. Representing EWB at the event were Alan Pryor, General Manager; Huda Al Shamlan, Director of Marketing, Communications and Partnerships; and Bjorn Hufkie, Director of Business Development. Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA) representatives also took part in the event.

NBB signs deals with Real Estate Developers
The National Bank of Bahrain (NBB) has signed five Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) with prominent real estate companies during its participation in the recent Innovation Summit in Social Housing 2025. Held from 23rd to 25th April at the Exhibition World Bahrain (EWB), the Summit gathered key industry stakeholders to collaborate on advancing national housing ambitions. NBB formalised the MoUs at its dedicated stand with ERA Real Estate, Kayan Real Estate, Delmon Gate, Best Location Properties, and Al Janabiya Gate. The agreements aim to offer social housing beneficiaries access to a broad range of property options backed by NBB's financing solutions such as its new Tas'heel+ product. The Bank will work closely with each company to facilitate hassle-free purchase experiences for customers throughout their homeownership journey. Through these collaborations, the Bank will further expand its mortgage finance portfolio to offer a more diversified pool of properties aligned with the financing needs of prospective buyers. Subah Abdullatif Al Zayani, Chief Executive – Retail Banking at NBB said, 'By combining our financing and advisory expertise with the market presence of our partners, we are building a more efficient and responsive ecosystem that supports homeownership aspirations across the Kingdom.'

A particular highlight was the Fawateer feature, which enables users to seamlessly view and pay bills electronically.
