Former Jets teammate sets the record straight on 'misunderstood' Steelers QB Aaron Rodgers
Aaron Rodgers has no shortage of critics — but if you asked his former Jets teammate Breece Hall, he's simply misunderstood. On a special Fanatics Fest edition of Da Get Got Pod with Marshawn Lynch and Mike Robinson, Hall shared his honest feelings on Rodgers and his short-lived tenure with the Jets: "Very misunderstood person," Hall said. "Great dude, comes off to people a certain way. But once you really get to know him, you realize how good of a person he is. Last year, when you're losing games, the blame gets put on the faces of the team, and it just so happened to be guys like me, Sauce [Gardner], Garrett [Wilson], Aaron [Rodgers], Quinnen [Williams], and Quincy [Williams]. "I feel like when you're losing, somebody has to get let go — but what people don't realize is when stuff is crazy organizationally, then it's hard for players to have stability and win games. … But I love Aaron. Me and him still have a great relationship to this day. That's my guy.' Many argued Rodgers was heavily at fault for the 2024 Jets' disaster — but Hall clearly believes the blame goes far deeper than any one player. In his short time with the Steelers, Rodgers' display of generosity in mentoring rookie Will Howard — and the respect he's earned from teammates and coaches in Pittsburgh — has proved Hall's point that the four-time MVP isn't as complicated or egocentric as critics make him out to be. Livvy Dunne buys rare Paul Skenes rookie card
Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Paul Skenes and his partner, influencer and former gymnast Livvy Dunne, have become a baseball power couple since Skenes' rapid ascent to superstardom dating back to his rookie season last year. Skenes' dominant play and subsequent National League Rookie of the Year win further propelled the frenzy when baseball fans and card collectors went on a mission to find the one-of-a-kind Paul Skenes Rookie Debut Patch Autograph card. That card was discovered by an 11-year-old California native and eventually went to auction, where it would ultimately sell for $1.11 million to, at the time, an anonymous bidder. Just hours after its sale was finalized, DICK'S Sporting Goods announced they were the ones to pony up the more than $1 million. Now, another rare Skenes rookie card has come to light. Except this time, the card didn't end up in the hands of a collector or sporting goods store. Skenes' partner, Dunne, has paid $2,850 for the rare Skenes card. The card in question is a 2024 Bowman's Best anime card depicting the former No. 1 overall pick. Dunne scooped the card while attending Fanatics Fest in New York City. Only five such cards were produced, with the one that Dunne purchased receiving a perfect PSA grade of 10, according to the vendor in the video. Skenes sees card exhibit for first time Skenes on Friday was at DICK'S House of Sport at Ross Park Mall, where he viewed the exhibit housing his one-of-one card for the first time. "Keep it in Pittsburgh, it's cool," Skenes said of the card and the exhibit. Appearing at a trading card event, Skenes also met with some young Pirates fans who were thrilled to see the Pirates' ace. Skenes owns a 4-7 record with a 2.12 ERA and 110 strikeouts so far through the 2025 season.

Liv Morgan injury update: WWE star will 'miss several months' after shoulder injury
WWE star Liv Morgan will 'miss several months of action' after she suffered a shoulder injury. The announcement was made by commentator Corey Graves during Monday Night Raw on June 23. It was expected Morgan would miss significant time as a result of her injury, but the severity of it was unknown. Morgan is also one half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champions alongside Raquel Rodriguez. Advertisement The plans on the titles haven't been announced, as Rodriguez could either continue the reign alongside someone else or the titles could be vacated. What happened to Liv Morgan? Morgan suffered the injury in a match with Kairi Sane during Monday Night Raw on June 16. In the early stages of the contest, Sane dropped to her knees to perform a single-leg takedown. Morgan went face first on the mat and her right shoulder also hit the ground. Morgan immediately yelled in pain and rolled out of the ring as the referee prevented Sane from performing any other move. Advertisement Medical personnel came to check on Morgan outside of the ring, and the match was eventually called off as Morgan was escorted out of the arena. Sane was declared winner by forfeit. Liv Morgan return: When could she come back? While the severity of Morgan's injury is unknown, Morgan won't be appearing in WWE in the foreseeable future. Morgan was scheduled to attend Fanatics Fest in New York City on June 20-22, but was pulled from the event after her injury. A shoulder dislocation can sideline athletes for months. The timeline of return depends on the severity of the injury and whether surgery is necessary. The Mayo Clinic says the shoulder would improve "over a few weeks" if surgery is not needed, but if surgery is performed, full recovery can take five to six months. Advertisement Shoulder injuries have been an issue for the two-time Women's World Champion. In 2023, Morgan missed six months of action after she dislocated her shoulder in a match with Rhea Ripley, which turned out to be a labrum tear and she required surgery. Should Morgan miss around five months, she would return around the same time as Survivor Series on Nov. 29, or could possibly wait to return at Royal Rumble in January 2026, similar to how she did in 2024. Morgan was in her fourth reign as WWE Women's Tag Team Champion with Raquel Rodriguez, a record for the title. The duo won the titles at Raw After WrestleMania on April 21 and they lost them to Lyra Valkyria and Becky Lynch one day earlier at WrestleMania 41. The biggest stories, every morning.
