So, can you go beyond what the eye shows and challenge your mind to see what's really there? Before we jump into the challenge, let's understand why illusions like this are so fascinating. Optical illusions are images that trick your brain. They often use shapes, colors, and patterns to confuse your mind and hide details in plain sight. All new features in Minecraft 1.21.100.23 preview explained

Image via Mojang Minecraft has recently confirmed its new and third game drop, 1.21.100.23, to be added later this year. Currently the developers are in the experimental phase where they have introduced a suite of experimental features, which aim to enhance the mechanics and gameplay experience of the players. The new experimental features include new mobs, recipes, and mechanics focused on copper. The update is currently available only for Bedrock Edition. This article previews all the features to come in Minecraft 1.21.100.23 version. All major features are coming in the Minecraft 1.21.100.23 update . Here are the following experimental features that are confirmed by Minecraft: 1. Copper Golem As copper is the main focus item for this game drop, Minecraft now has introduced Copper Golem, a player-made mob crafted with copper blocks and carved pumpkins. The main function of the Copper Golem is to transport items that players drop in the copper chest into the normal chest (item sorting). Upon killing one Copper Golem, it will drop 1–3 copper ingots. 2. Copper Chest It is a new block that will only appear when a player summons a Copper Golem. When players drop items into a Copper Chest, the Copper Golem automatically picks them up and sorts them in the nearby chest. Copper chests have 2 types of appearance: waxed and oxidized variants. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Honda SP125: Now with More Power & Style Honda Learn More Undo Copper Chests can be crafted using a Chest and Copper Ingots. 3. Copper Tools Minecraft has introduced copper tools, which are a minor update from stone tools. These tools are introduced with the motive to help early-stage players. Players can now craft tools, weapons, and armor from copper. The copper armor is a great choice, as it will help players save iron in the early stage, and it is better than leather armor. Here are all the tools, weapons, and armor that players can craft: Copper Axe Copper Hoe Copper Pickaxe Copper Shovel Copper Sword Copper Armor Copper Helmet Copper Chest plate Copper Leggings Copper Boots 4. Technical and Parity Updates Here are the following technical and bug fix adjustments: Hotbar can always be hit on any touch device. The detection area matches the texture even if you have custom controls enabled. Fixed faces of non-full blocks (e.g., cakes or trapdoors) having an unnatural ambient occlusion applied to them in some neighboring block configurations. Glowing text on signs no longer gets overly bright when looked at directly in Vibrant Visuals. Fixed an issue where custom armor disabled knockback on some platforms. Fixed a bug that caused Happy Ghast to occasionally suffocate when faced against a wall. Boats no longer play step sounds when on the ground. Air friction is now only applied to boats when they are leashed. Boats are still prevented from orbiting the player when leashed. Boats once again retain momentum when moving off ledges. Fixed a bug where the Happy Ghast riding sound would sometimes play in the loading screen. Fixed a bug where both Ghast and Happy Ghast ambient sounds would not be audible further than 16 blocks away from the player Ghast ambient sound is now audible within 80 blocks. Happy Ghast ambient sound is now audible within 64 blocks. Leashed mobs can now be pulled into boats, minecarts, and other rideable entities if the leash is slackened when close to those entities. Leashed mobs will now automatically dismount their vehicle if the leash is stretched far enough. These are all the features under the experimental phase of the Minecraft 1.21.100.23 update. IND vs ENG, 2nd Test: Under grey skies, Akash Deep shines bright

India's Akash Deep celebrates the dismissal of England's Ollie Pope on day five of the second cricket test match between England and India at Edgbaston in Birmingham, England, Sunday, July 6, 2025. (AP Photo/Scott Heppell) Birmingham: Akash Deep tends to get excited at the prospect of representing the country and playing on the biggest stage, getting to run in and bowl at venues he has only heard of in stories while growing up. Last Sept, ahead of a Test match against Bangladesh, he said he was thrilled to be playing a match at Green Park in Kanpur, since it was the first stadium he had ever heard of. Similarly, he had pre-conceived notions about traditional bowling conditions here in England. 'I'd imagined that I'd get conditions where the ball swings and seams,' Akash had said after his four-wicket haul in the first innings here at Edgbaston. Go Beyond The Boundary with our YouTube channel. SUBSCRIBE NOW! Hailing from a small town in Bihar , Akash Deep sure has come a long way. On Sunday, when proceedings began after lunch on Day 5, the announcer at the ground mentioned Akash by name. Immediately, the Indian fans — who comfortably outnumbered the England supporters — started chanting his name wildly. After his match-winning 10-wicket haul in the second Test, the humble, small-town boy is the toast of Indian cricket at one of the most celebrated venues in the world. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Honda SP125: Now with More Power & Style Honda Learn More Undo Perhaps Akash Deep's humility is what helps him stay flexible and be effective in varied conditions. 'The coaches have always encouraged me. They tell me that even I don't realise the things I am capable of,' Akash said. 'Any attack of ours can take 20 wickets anywhere': Shubman Gill hails Mohd Siraj, Akash Deep after historic Edgbaston win When he found out that conditions in England this summer didn't exactly resemble the stories, Akash Deep immediately decided to stick to his natural lines and lengths. He has enough miles in his legs at the domestic level and that showed as he ran in tirelessly, seamlessly, in both innings here. 'I trusted my experience and stuck to the line and lengths that I bowled in India. On these kinds of pitches, you need to be disciplined.,' Akash said. He consistently out-bowled everyone on this relatively docile Edgbaston track and kept coming at the batters. It's remarkable considering he was off-colour in the IPL following a side injury and subsequently carried a niggle while travelling with the India 'A' team preceding this Test series. 'Akash is an attacking bowler who asks questions by bowling at the stumps a lot. That's one of the golden rules here in England. Coming back from injury and seeing him running in and bowling at a high pace is a a nice sign for us,' India's bowling coach Morne Morkel said after Akash Deep produced a dream spell to get rid of the in-form Ben Duckett and Joe Root late on the fourth day on Saturday. Not surprisingly, he got the ball rolling immediately on the final morning by knocking over Ollie Pope , followed by trapping Harry Brook in front of the stumps with balls that jagged back remarkably off the seam. For now, Akash Deep is on a roll. India will be hoping for more such performances from him in this series. Inquiry report exposes irregularities in Nemom Service Cooperative Bank

Thiruvananthapuram : An inquiry into the irregularities surrounding Nemom Service Cooperative Bank, held as per Section 65 of Kerala Co-operative Societies Act, revealed fraud committed by members of the society's administrative panel. The report states that the bank received investments worth Rs 112 crore and Rs 52 crore were given as loans. Most of these loans were benefited by the accused and also by people close to them. However, not even a single penny was repaid, the report said. As per report, former secretary Balachandran Nair's wife P K Sreekala took loans worth Rs 10 lakh. A R Rajendran, who is also a former secretary, along with his wife Sreejakumari, children and son-in-law, also took loans worth lakhs of rupees. Some of the accused took loans up to Rs 25 lakh from the bank by pledging properties. However, they soon got the documents released with the help of the then secretaries. The existing liabilities of the loans at the bank were not marked in the encumbrance certificates even as the accused took loans using the same documents from other banks. Agricultural loans were provided only to the accused, their relatives and party members. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Honda SP125: Now with More Power & Style Honda Learn More Undo They took agricultural loans of Rs 10 lakh from the bank at 4% interest and deposited the money for 9.5% interest in the bank itself. They collected the interest on the deposit but did not repay the interest or the loan amount. Even the elections of panel members did not comply with the rules, the report said. No general body meeting was held at the bank since 2018, the report added. Using the documents of properties of people who took loans from the bank, the accused took other loans without their knowledge. The consent of the joint registrar is required to appoint people on a contract basis at the society. But the accused appointed their kith and kin at various positions at higher salaries and the bank incurred a loss of Rs 14.21 lakh because of this. The fixed deposit (FD) receipts have to be certified by the secretary, but here even retired staff were found to have certified FD receipts. "The report reveals grave irregularities, and the accused must be brought before the law at any cost. Measures must be taken to provide money back to the depositors," said Santhivila Mujeeb Rahman, patron of the depositors' forum. There are as many as six accused in the case. Former secretary of the bank S Balachandran Nair and former president R Pradeep Kumar were arrested earlier. The third and fourth accused former secretary A R Rajendran and cashier Vasanth along with two other board members are still absconding and the search has been intensified for them," said the probe team.
