Emmerdale fans 'solve' explosive wedding day twist for one couple amid huge secret

Emmerdale fans think Gabby Thomas and Vinny Dingle could be set for dramatic scenes ahead of their wedding, with one of the characters hiding something on the ITV soap There could be a dramatic wedding on the way on Emmerdale after a big secret on the ITV soap. ‌ One couple are due to wed in the coming months on the show after getting engaged earlier in the year. But a near-kiss with another character could jeopardise this, while one of the pair is also having doubts over whether he wants to get married or not. ‌ Gabby Thomas and Vinny Dingle surprised their loved ones months earlier with their plans to tie the knot. It seemed quite rushed with them not having been dating for very long, but they agreed that it felt right. ‌ So when Vinny tried to kiss his friend Kammy in a recent episode, it left both men confused. Vinny was left downplaying the situation and trying to act like nothing happened, while he will continue to question his sexuality in the fallout. Kammy has encouraged Vinny to be honest about what happened, also questioning what it meant for his relationship with Gabby. With Vinny seeming to question whether he wants a wedding at all, Gabby remains unaware as she continues to plan their big day. ‌ Now, after hints it could spell drama on their wedding day, fans think Vinny's near-kiss with Kammy may come out during the ceremony. Another suggestion is that Vinny's lack of desire to marry again, after the loss of his wife Liv, may come out during the big day. After spotting a new poster for this month on the show, fans were sure big things were ahead for Vinny. Each month or so, the ITV site changes which characters feature in the poster on the episode page. It tends to be that whoever is in the poster will be taking centre stage in the coming weeks. In the latest one Vinny is shown alone, looking worried about something. ‌ Having seen this, fans think Vinny's secret is about to be exposed and that an explosive wedding could also be on the cards at some point. Taking to social media, one fan said: "The new ITVX poster of Vinny is making me think it's all about to come out soon about him and Kammy? I think it'll build up and then be revealed on their wedding day?" Another fan responded to this saying: "I'm guessing he'll panic at the wedding about not wanting to get married. I do think that it will also come out that he tried to kiss Kammy and that will add to Gabby's confusion. "But obviously that's not the real issue. I'm actually quite excited. It isn't what I expected from this storyline." A further fan said: "I agree, I like how the focus is Vinny not sure if he wants to get married and not necessarily the fact he tried to kiss Kammy." Vinny horrified as major Emmerdale legend overhears private moment with Kammy

A new friendship for Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) turned to confusion on Emmerdale recently when Vinny got carried away and tried to kiss his friend Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah). Kammy is confident, relaxed and reckless – all the things Vinny isn't, basically. So when they spent an afternoon getting revenge on a delivery driver who'd made some pointed comments to Vinny, he was swept away by the excitement and fun they were having. He leaned in to kiss Kammy, who didn't reciprocate. They then tried to brush the whole thing off as being a joke. 'Kammy isn't bothered about the kiss, he more feels for Vinny,' Shebz Miah confirmed. 'Kammy's so relaxed. Kammy's so confident in his sexuality. It's more that he wants to offer a helping hand, because it's a very tricky situation now that Vinny's in. We've got Gabs on one hand, then all the other stuff in Vinny's life and how does it affect that?' With Vinny's wedding to Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) coming up soon, Vinny is now feeling incredibly anxious about what happened with Kammy, particularly after Gabby insists that Kammy is on the guest list for the wedding. When Vinny has to take Gabby's car to the garage to be serviced, he can't avoid Kammy any longer. As they talk, Gabby passes by on the phone with Laurel (Charlotte Bellamy) and there's a glitch in the call that means Laurel can hear everything Kammy and Vinny are talking about. It's not long before Laurel demands a private word with Vinny and he's naturally nervous about what Gabby's step-mum might be about to say. Knowing that Gabby has previously had her heart broken when former fiancé Nicky Miligan (Lewis Cope) jilted her on their wedding day after admitting he was gay, Laurel is obviously worried that history could be about to repeat itself. For Vinny's sake as much as Gabby's she begs him to consider carefully whether he's absolutely sure about the relationship with Gabby. She says if he has any doubts, he shouldn't go ahead. Rosie Bentham told us that potentially Gabby would be more devastated if this wedding didn't happen than she was with Nicky. More Trending 'I think this one would hit even deeper because it is someone that she genuinely has feelings for and has developed a very strong connection with,' she reflected. 'I think if Vinny is questioning things and really struggling, some communication needs to happen. But this stuff with Kammy, I don't know how it would be initially received. Popular football show cancelled by Sky Sports is coming back for new season after U-turn

Popular football show cancelled by Sky Sports is coming back for new season after U-turn Sky Sports is planning to bring back the popular Sunday Supplement football show that was scrapped in 2020, and a similar format is expected to return under a new name Sunday Supplement is set to be revived by Sky Sports with a new name (Image: Sky Sports ) Sky Sports are set to revive its iconic Sunday Supplement show, which was shelved in 2020 after a successful 20-year run. Originally launched as Hold the Back Page in 1999, the programme featured sports journalists debating the week's top stories on Friday nights. ‌ Under the guidance of the legendary Jimmy Hill, it transitioned to a Sunday morning slot, becoming a staple for discussing the latest news, results and rumours. ‌ Following Hill's departure in 2007, Bill Bradshaw from the Daily Express and Brian Woolnough of the Daily Star stepped in as hosts. Neil Ashton later assumed the role before Jacqui Oatley made history as the show's first female presenter in 2020. However, the same year saw the show axed amid a packed Sky Sports timetable. A spokesperson for Sky explained at the time: "The huge volume of live football since the restart and a condensed season that has already begun means we must look at how best to deploy our resources for the benefit of our customers." Despite this, the Daily Mail reports that a refreshed version of the show is on the horizon, with plans to launch before the 2025/26 Premier League season kicks off. An official announcement is anticipated in the coming weeks. Article continues below The new iteration is expected to bear a different title but will likely retain the familiar format, featuring experts dissecting the major talking points of the week, reports the Mirror. The cancellation of Sunday Supplement was part of a significant revamp at the network. Later in 2020, Sky revealed that both The Debate and Goals on Sunday would no longer grace our televisions. Oatley became presenter of the show in 2020 (Image: Getty Images ) ‌ Goals on Sunday had been a staple since 2000, enjoying a two-decade run. Chris Kamara, a Sky stalwart and ex-midfielder for Swindon Town and Brentford, hosted the show alongside Ben Shepherd, where they entertained high-profile guests weekly. Alex Scott and Laura Woods also featured as presenters during its tenure. Jeff Stelling, another former Sky Sports luminary, remains puzzled over the decision to cancel the show and the subsequent redeployment of Kamara to cover lower-tier football before his eventual departure from Sky in 2022. "From out of nowhere, it all began to go wrong for Kammy," Stelling reflects in his autobiography, Saturday Afternoon Fever. "Sky axed Goals on Sunday, though to this day, I don't understand why. Article continues below "They certainly had nothing to replace it with. They kept the name alive for a segment shown on Sky Sports News, but it bears no resemblance to the original. "Previously, Kammy would always have been at the biggest in-vision game of the weekend, but now he found himself being sent to Championship or League One fixtures. He covered them with the same enthusiasm as he covered every game." Soccer AM was also discontinued in 2023 to much backlash after a 28-year run, following a decline in its regular viewership.

Sky Sports bringing back popular football show that was controversially scrapped

Sky Sports are set to revive the popular Sunday Supplement football programme, which was axed in 2020, and a similar format looks set to return with a new name ahead of the new Premier League season Sky Sports have reportedly decided to bring back a new version of its Sunday Supplement programme. The panel show was axed in 2020 after two decades on the air, but now looks set for a return. The programme began life as Hold the Back Page in 1999 and saw guest sports reporters discussing the week's biggest stories on a Friday evening. However, under the stewardship of the late Jimmy Hill, it was soon moved to Sunday morning, when all the pressing news, results and gossip of the week were discussed. ‌ Upon Hill's exit in 2007, both the Daily Express' Bill Bradshaw and the Daily Star's Brian Woolnough took up the role of presenters. ‌ Ex-The Sun journalist Neil Ashton later took over before Jacqui Oatley became its first female presenter in 2020. But that same year, the show was controversially cancelled due to a tight Sky Sports schedule. A Sky spokesperson said at the time: "The huge volume of live football since the restart and a condensed season that has already begun means we must look at how best to deploy our resources for the benefit of our customers." Yet, the show is set for a revamped return, reports the Daily Mail. It will be up and running again ahead of the 2025/26 Premier League season, and an official announcement is expected in the coming weeks. The resurrected show will allegedly take on a different name, though it is expected to follow a similar format to its predecessor, with industry insiders discussing the week's storylines. Sunday Supplement's axing came during a momentous network overhaul. Later in 2020, Sky announced that both The Debate and Goals on Sunday would also be leaving our screens. Goals on Sunday, like Sunday Supplement, started in 2000 and ran for two decades. ‌ It was hosted by Sky icon and former Swindon Town and Brentford midfielder Chris Kamara, and he and co-host Ben Shepherd welcomed big-name guests each week. Both Alex Scott and Laura Woods also made appearances as presenters. Another ex-Sky Sports big-hitter, Jeff Stelling, still can't quite fathom why the show was axed, and why Kamara was later enlisted to cover lower-league matches before departing the broadcaster for good in 2022. "From out of nowhere, it all began to go wrong for Kammy," Stelling writes in his autobiography, Saturday Afternoon Fever. "Sky axed Goals on Sunday, though to this day, I don't understand why. ‌ "They certainly had nothing to replace it with. They kept the name alive for a segment shown on Sky Sports News, but it bears no resemblance to the original. "Previously, Kammy would always have been at the biggest in-vision game of the weekend, but now he found himself being sent to Championship or League One fixtures. He covered them with the same enthusiasm as he covered every game." Soccer AM also suffered the axe in 2023 after 28 years on screen, having suffered a loss in regular viewership. Fresh torment for Vinny in Emmerdale as Gabby delivers big Kammy revelation

Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) and Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) are engaged in Emmerdale and up until fairly recently, the road to their wedding was free from drama. The two characters announced their engagement in April. It left Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) and Laurel Thomas (Charlotte Bellamy) very surprised, as they both feared it was too early in their relationship to decide they wanted to become husband and wife. During an afternoon of hanging out with new friend Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah), Vinny got carried away in a moment and tried to kiss him. The move left both of them stunned. Vinny tried to brush it off as a joke, claimed he isn't bisexual, and reminded Kammy that he's in a happy relationship with Gabby. In the aftermath though, while Vinny has tried to ignore the almost-kiss, it's very obvious it's been playing on his mind. Kammy has made it clear that he won't mention it anymore, focusing more on trying to support Vinny in this journey, rather than the fact he's lying to Gabby. More Trending In upcoming episodes, an excited Gabby is busy finalising the guest list for their engagement party. Want to be the first to hear shocking EastEnders spoilers?
