Apple TV's MLS Season Pass is half off for the rest of the season.
If you've put off buying an MLS Season Pass this year then you're in luck. Today, Apple TV is cutting the price in half, dropping to $49 from $99, for the rest of the 2025 season. If you have an Apple TV+ subscription then you can get a seasonal subscription to the pass for just $39. To be fair, the season runs from February to October so the savings more than makes sense — though it wouldn't be suprising for a streamer to charge full price no matter the number of matches left. Apple announced the same deal on July 1 last year so, if you regret paying $99, it's a good thing to keep in mind for next year. You can watch matches and the matchday whip-around show in English and Spanish, which has interviews, highlights, replays and more. The seasonal subscription also gives you access to a "featured game of the week" broadcast during Sunday Night Soccer. Plus, watch live MLS Next Pro and MLS Next matches. MLS All-Star rosters 2025: Lionel Messi, seven USMNT team players highlight squad
Argentine World Cup champion Lionel Messi and seven players from the U.S. men's national team are among 26 players named MLS All-Stars for the 2025 season, the league announced on Wednesday, June 25. The MLS All-Stars will face a team of All-Stars from Mexico's Liga MX on July 23 at 9 p.m. ET at Q2 Stadium in Austin, Texas, broadcast on MLS Season Pass on Apple TV. The USMNT's Patrick Agyemang, Max Arfsten, Sebastian Berhalter, Alex Freeman, Diego Luna, Miles Robinson, and Brian White will represent their MLS clubs in the showcase. Canada national team goalkeeper Dayne St. Clair and Mexican National Team forward Hirving "Chucky" Lozano are also on the MLS team. The Western Conference-leading Vancouver Whitecaps will have four All-Stars in Berhalter, White, defender Tristan Blackmon and goalkeeper Yohei Takaoka. San Diego FC, second in the West as MLS' newest club, will have three All-Stars: Lozano, Anders Dreyer and Jeppe Tverskov. Agyemang and Lozano were selected by MLS commissioner Don Garber to be All-Stars. Austin FC coach Nico Estévez, who is leading the MLS All-Star team, designated 12 players to be All-Stars, while 12 others were voted through a combination of fan, player, and media voting. Columbus Crew's Diego Rossi will make his fourth appearance (2019, 2021, 2024-25), while LAFC's Denis Bouanga (2023-25), Philadelphia Union's Jakob Glesnes (2022-23, 2025) and FC Cincinnati's Miles Robinson (2021, 2024-25) have been named MLS All-Stars for the third time. Messi, the Inter Miami star, and his teammate Jordi Alba were named MLS All-Stars for the second straight season. Alba played in the match last year with midfielder Sergio Busquets, while Messi and Luis Suarez did not participate in the showcase. Messi, 36, and Alba, 36, are the oldest players on the MLS All-Star roster, which features six players aged 24 years old and younger. "The truth is that we don't go out much either," Messi told Argentinian outlet Infobae regarding his lifestyle. "We live in the area where the club is located and we have a short drive to Miami. We go out, we've gone out a couple of times, but I still don't know it well." Messi is currently in action at FIFA's revamped Club World Cup. However, the star was powerless to prevent his side conceding two late goals as Miami surrendered a lead against Brazilian side Palmeiras to draw 2-2 and let slip the chance to win Group A.
