Drake reacts to anti-Kendrick Lamar chant during Wireless Festival set : "I'll drink to that"

Drake acknowledged a loud chant from the crowd at Wireless Festival's second night, where fans shouted 'F**k Kendrick' during his headlining set. Performing as part of his 'Drake & The Mandem' showcase, the rapper shared the stage with UK artists including Central Cee, J Hus, and Dave. After stating, 'Three nights headlining, three different sets, three different vibes. Name another artist that can do that and bring him up here and we can clash right now,' fans erupted into a chant targeting his longtime rival Kendrick Lamar. Drake briefly removed his headset to hear the chant clearly, then responded with a casual request: 'Chubbs, grab me a shot, I'll drink to that.' After taking the shot, he added, 'Y'all thought y'all could knock The Boy off for real?' prompting a unified 'no' from the crowd before launching into 'NOKIA.' While Drake made no direct reference to Lamar on night one, which featured appearances by PARTYNEXTDOOR, Bryson Tiller, Mario, Bobby V, and Lauryn Hill, he did not miss the opportunity to lean into the crowd's energy on night two. The festival's third night will feature Burna Boy and Vybz Kartel, with additional guests expected. Drake is set to continue his European tour, Some Special Shows 4 U, with PARTYNEXTDOOR, running through September.

Pusha T says Kendrick Lamar's lyrics made Drake tap out

Pusha T has confirmed that he maintained communication with Kendrick Lamar during Lamar's highly publicized lyrical feud with Drake. The Clipse rapper made the statement during a recent appearance on The Breakfast Club, further aligning himself with the Compton rapper while praising his skills as a lyricist. When asked directly whether he spoke with Kendrick amid the ongoing tension, Pusha responded, 'Hell yeah, he's my guy.' He added, 'Great lyricists just tune into the obvious,' as captured by NFR Podcast. This isn't the first time Pusha T has publicly praised Lamar. At the 'Saint Sessions Live' event during Art Basel Miami last year, he credited Kendrick's lyrical depth and emotional precision as the reason he emerged victorious in the rap battle. 'The truth really hurts and the truth cuts deep,' Pusha T said. 'And I think what Kendrick was doing was really talking to his soul... That'll cause you to tap out, that'll cause you to sue—it's crazy.' The timing of these remarks aligns with the release of Let God Sort Em Out, Clipse's first album in over 15 years. Kendrick Lamar is featured on the standout track 'Chains & Whips,' and was almost included on 'So Be It' as well. According to Malice, Lamar submitted his verse in the middle of the Drake conflict, yet still delivered 'top to bottom' lyrical excellence. Pusha's comments only add fuel to the ongoing narrative surrounding the high-profile rap beef, further cementing Lamar's image as a calculated and poetic force in hip hop.

Pusha T clarifies fractured relationship with Kanye West

Pusha T has addressed the tension in his relationship with Kanye West during a recent interview on The New York Times' 'Popcast.' The rapper clarified that his bond with West is strictly confined to their music collaboration, stating that outside of their professional work, they have little in common. 'Outside of music, we're nothing,' Pusha said, emphasizing that their connection is based on creativity, not personal values. He went on to explain that they have never shared the same principles, morals, or mindset. "We can't be anything outside of music. Music is where we click,' he added, noting that they often disagree on various issues. Pusha also criticized what he perceives as clout-chasing behavior, suggesting that such actions are incompatible with his values. 'If you're a man … you can't move like this,' he said, highlighting what he sees as a lack of integrity in West's actions. Pusha T on why Ye isn't a 'real man' 👀 'Outside of music, we're nothing. His principles, his morals, his mindset. We don't see eye to eye.' 'If you're a man … you [don't] gotta flip-flop, kiss ass & backbite.' — NFR Podcast (@nfr_podcast) June 24, 2025 Pusha had previously spoken on their strained relationship in a GQ interview in June 2025, claiming that their bond was irreparable. He expressed his belief that West knew he did not view him as a man, citing weaknesses in West's character that had become evident over time. No Malice, Pusha's brother and longtime partner, also weighed in during the interview, noting Pusha's unwavering commitment to integrity in an industry often marked by backstabbing. While Pusha remains firm in his stance, West has publicly expressed regret over the fallout. In May 2025, West posted on social media, saying, 'I miss me and Pusha's friendship.'

Kendrick Lamar had Toronto hating Drake as much as everyone else

Kendrick Lamar had Toronto hating Drake as much as everyone else KENDRICK LAMAR NOT LIKE US 🚨LIVE IN TORONTO🚨 — NFR Podcast (@nfr_podcast) June 13, 2025 So, imagine getting in a fight with someone in the most public way possible. Everyone knows you're beefing. It's been you vs. the other guy for a little more than a year now. People have picked sides and hunkered down. You'd like to think that the folks from your hometown would pick your side, right? Especially if, throughout your entire career, you've gone out of your way to show them love whenever you could. Of course, when the moment comes, you'd like to think they love you back. That certainly isn't what happened for Drake last night. THEY NOT LIKE US: The Kendrick Lamar and Drake beef, explained Kendrick Lamar brought the GNX Tour, aka the Drake Hatefest, to Toronto on Thursday night. He had every person in the Rogers Centre screaming every word of Not Like Us with every fiber of their being. It was a pure display of hatred that I'm not sure I've ever seen before. WARNING: There is some NSFW language in this video This isn't supposed to happen. Drake is supposed to be Toronto's golden boy. This isn't supposed to happen. This would be like Drake coming to LA and having the crowd curse Kendrick until they couldn't anymore. The crowd has so much fun cracking down on their hometown hero that they actually asked for an encore once it was all over and done with. You could probably make a credible argument that Kendrick Lamar is, in fact, milking this Drake thing. The beef started more than a year ago and it's been over for a while. Really, it was over as soon as Drake got lawyers involved. If it wasn't over then, it was definitely over at the Super Bowl. If it wasn't over at the Super Bowl, it's definitely over now after the Toronto takeover. But I think the only people who'd argue that Kendrick is doing too much with this are the people who have never had enemies in their lives. And, honestly, good for those people! Having enemies sucks. But let me tell you something. If you ever get one-up on your enemy? You never let them live it down. Especially when your one-up is this big. The truth is, Kendrick is never going to stop performing Not Like Us. And it honestly doesn't seem like his fans want him to at this point. Sorry, Drake. The party is still going at your expense, buddy. Even at the crib. Is this the end for Russ? The Russell Westbrook era in Denver is over. The future Hall of Famer declined his player option for next season and is officially a free agent, according to NBA Insider Marc Stein. Russell Westbrook has declined his player option for next season and is now an unrestricted free agent, per Marc Stein. Which team should the former MVP go to? — Yahoo Sports (@YahooSports) June 13, 2025 That begs the question about what might be next for Russ in his NBA career. I'll say the thing so you don't have to: What should be next for Russ is probably retirement. It's pretty clear Westbrook believes he has something left in the tank. I don't think that's farfetched, either. The dude was playing important minutes for a playoff team this season. Before it went bad in Denver, things were also pretty good. He was a solid contributor at times. But, man. Things have ended in chaos at every stop for the last few years. The Lakers. The Clippers. The Nuggets. All bad. I feel like that's a sign. There's nothing wrong with hanging it up. Westbrook is a first-ballot Hall of Famer — there's no question about it. He was the second player in NBA history to average a triple-double, he's been a league MVP, he's been to the NBA Finals and is unquestionably one of the most consequential players of his time. You can't talk about this era of NBA basketball without talking about Russell Westbrook. But his prime is way behind him. And it feels like the further we get away from it, the more his legacy gets ever-so-slightly tarnished. He probably won't do it, but hanging it up feels like the best option right now. Mya Lesnar is definitely Brock Lesnar's kid Mya Lesnar effortlessly secured herself a second NCAA championship on Thursday in the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships. Christian D'Andrea has the details: "Mya Lesnar didn't follow in her father's footsteps despite a burgeoning women's wrestling scene at the college level. Instead, she used her family's farmhand strength to carve a championship path in track and field -- specifically, the shot put. After beginning her college career at Arizona State, she transferred to Colorado State in 2022. That move helped unlock her potential. She won a national indoor championship earlier this year, then doubled up in the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships Thursday."
