'We saw McFly in concert and something wild happened on way home'

A fan of McFly was left stunned by what she witnessed after their performance, prompting her to share footage of Tom, Danny and Dougie from her car After watching McFly perform in concert earlier this week (June 22), some fans of the pop band were left in amazement by what happened after the show. The four-piece, which consists of Tom Fletcher, Danny Jones, Dougie Poynter and Harry Judd, performed in Southampton, where they took to the stage at the city's Guildhall Square. There, the sold out crowd enjoyed 20 years of hits – including All About You and Obviously as part of Southampton Summer Sessions celebrations. It precedes McFly embarking on a large tour of the UK and Ireland later this year. After leaving the event, fan Charlotte Samina admitted she was stunned to see three of the group's members during her journey home. ‌ Samina took to TikTok, where she penned in a caption alongside her video: "Driving home from a McFly gig only to be overtaken by McFly on their motorbikes." ‌ The clip showed Tom, Danny and Dougie overtaking Samina on the Hampshire dual carriageway, prompting one TikTok user to declare: "Please say you opened the windows and said hello, thanks for a sick gig." Samina confessed: "I debated it but when I put the window down their motorbikes were LOUD so they'd never have heard us!" A second person praised: "Amazing! I drove this road home back and know it well! Can't believe you saw them!" A third gushed: "This is iconic." Whilst a fourth quipped: "The thought of Tom on a motorbike just doesn't sit quite right." Earlier that day, meanwhile, Tom hailed the "best weekend ever" as he shared several snaps to Facebook of the band enjoying their lunch beside their bikes. "Best weekend ever. Motorbikes & McFly," he penned in a caption. ‌ One fellow biker replied: "As an avid fan of extreme metal for countless years, I never thought I would comment on a McFly related page but here I am! Great bikes, Bobber wins (just). Luckily, I have both!" Another fan wrote: "Saw you at Westonbirt on Saturday. Your energy was off the scale and you were just what I was hoping for and more. ‌ "Amazing, loved it, thank you all. We were up on the disabled viewing platform with my daughter. She didn't stop beaming the whole time." A third individual shared: "My hubby is off to Bruges and Luxembourg on their motorbikes with his mates this weekend. Lads and bikes… gotta be done." A fourth suggested to the lads: "Next stop needs to be ABR Festival. The biggest motorbike festival in the UK." And a fifth Facebook user praised 39-year old Tom's photos: "Looks amazing! Everyone having so much fun! You guys know how to put on a brilliant show and have a fantastic time doing it! Awesome!"
