‘Trinny London's new elixir is a non-negotiable in my skincare routine'
Metro journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more Ever since Trinny Woodall launched her namesake multi-million pound beauty brand, Trinny London, back in 2017 we have been a huge fan of the label – if not the number one fan. We have tried and tested almost every product from Trinny London; from the multipurpose illuminator, Take Back Time Eye Cream, to BFF SPF30 cream, the Bounce Back peptide moisturiser, and BFF De-Stress – plus everything in between. There have been a lot of new lunches dropping at Trinny London, including the new Take Back Time Elixir, which is a lightweight serum that targets dull skin, and it has slipped into my beauty routine seamlessly. Formulated with antioxidant artichoke polyphenols, a blend of pro-vitamin B5, trehalose, xylitol and squalane, this featherlight milk-like Elixir gives your skin a boost of hydration, elasticity and luminosity. It absorbs instantly into the skin. The micro-infusion technology enables the ingredients to penetrate deep within the skin for an effective treatment. Better yet? It is suitable for all skin types, can be used morning and evening on cleansed skin, whether after moisturising or on its own. Buy Now for £79 The Take Back Time Elixir is a multi-functional skincare item that is suitable for all skin tones, types and texture, and is super easy to use. The liquid formula has been formulated with active ingredients that hydrate, nourish and revitalise the skin, which is all our skin goals combined. It is enriched with artichoke polyphenols, which are a potent antioxidant that restores the skin and boosts microcirculation for visible brighter and plumper skin. The Elixir also contains a blend of pro-vitamin B5, trehalose, xylitol and squalane, which are key to delivering a deep boost of hydration to the skin for up to 48-hours, but they also support the skin barrier too. Trinny has formulated the new release using micro-infusion technology, which means the ultra-fine particles penetrate the epidermis on a deeper level for a more effective treatment that is not at all invasive. This blend of ingredients work to brighten dull and dehydrated skin into a brighter, plump, hydrated and rejuvenated complexion within 28 days. Not only does it work to rehydrate your skin, but it can boost the skin's elasticity, as well as smooth the skin's texture. I have been using Trinny London's Take Back Time Elixir every morning and evening in a bid to give my skin a new lease of life, and after just a few uses I noticed it was looking more hydrated and brighter. As a Beauty Editor I am fortunate enough I get to sample a whole host of products from different labels, but sometimes that can wreak havoc with my skin, which is why I'm grateful for the Elixir that acts as a moisturiser, serum, and skin barrier protector in one. More Trending The Elixir is ultra-lightweight and blends into the skin effortlessly. It doesn't leave any residue, is not at all tacky like other serums, nor does it cause any make-up applied on top to start piling throughout the day. Quite honestly, I forget I have even applied it and have double dosed on the milk-like Elixir before. The Elixir can be applied after cleansing and moisturising your skin with other products in your multi-step skincare routine, though sometimes it may be all I apply to my skin when I am in a rush or working from home and I want to give my skin an extra dose of TLC. The 30ml tube is encased in a compact silver tube, which is easy to use, pack and take on the go. Plus, it comes with a refill, which I think is a standout feature especially because we know Trinny London products fly off the shelves in the blink of an eye. This Elixir is even more lightweight but also more powerful, so a little goes a long way. It is suitable for all skin types, including those with sensitive skin, and is fragrance free. To be truthful, I don't know how I ever lived without it. Follow Metro across our social channels, on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram Share your views in the comments below MORE: One P. Trinny London expands its beauty range with multipurpose illuminator
Metro journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more Trinny Woodall has proved she is a force to be reckoned with as her namesake multi-million pound beauty label, Trinny London, continues to expand. Some may be familiar with the BFF SPF30 cream, the Bounce Back peptide moisturiser, Take Back Time eye cream, or the multipurpose make-up stick Trinity, which launched earlier this year. But the fun doesn't stop there, as Trinny London is set to add to its beauty collection next month. Trinny London is set to launch another multipurpose beauty essential in the form of the Miracle Halo. Now the name doesn't give away much, other than it's a miracle product, but we already knew that about Trinny London. The Miracle Halo is the ultimate illuminator, which aims to leave your skin glowing in an instant. Now the title makes sense, right? The multipurpose stick functions as a highlighter to illuminate the skin in an instant. The featherlight texture buffs into the skin effortlessly and leaves the skin glowing. Available in four shades, including Sunlight, Firelight, Candlelight and Starlight. Set to launch on 3rd July. Buy Now The Miracle Halo is a product we never knew we needed until we got wind of its benefits and how easy it is to use. The upcoming release can be applied on its own for a natural dewy complexion, layered over your make-up on the high points of your face for an added boost, or mixed in with your moisturiser or foundation for a happy medium between a no make-up make-up look. Speaking about her latest creation, Trinny shared: 'This is the next best thing to that do-not- disturb glow. I use Miracle Halo on its own, mixed with my moisturiser or coverage products such as BFF All Day foundation. It's perfect for that shot of luminosity.' The Miracle Halo is a weightless texture when applied on the skin, but it achieves an instant glow – and we don't mean an iridescent or pearlescent finish. More Trending The genius stick form makes it easy to apply to direct areas of the face, but also take with you travelling, which we all know is a huge headache when you have to decant your favourite products into a pesky 100ml container. The Miracle Halo is available in four illuminating shades, including Starlight, which is a soft cool champagne tone, Candlelight that is a natural pink hue, Sunlight for a honey gold finish, and Firelight that is a bronze tone. A little goes a long way with this product, plus it is longlasting too, which is ideal for the beauty minimalists and those seeking simple fuss-free products. The Miracle Halo is set to launch on 3rd July and retail for £32. So clear your diaries, you've got shopping to do! 8 Best Neck Firming Creams To Use in Australia in 2025
Doomscrolling on our phones is not just taking a toll on our minds but it's quietly wreaking havoc on our appearance too. These products are hand-picked by our team to help make shopping easier. Learn more Turns out constantly staring at our phones – aka doomscrolling – is not only bad for our minds but also taking a toll on our physical appearance too. Ever heard of the term 'tech neck'? Well now, you'll never forget it now. Caused by the forward tilt of your head while continuously looking down at phone and computer screens, 'tech neck' leads to fine lines and creases across the neck that can be very annoying to get rid of. And no, this isn't about ageing (which, by the way, is a privilege). But if you're looking to soften the appearance of those neck lines, we've rounded up a list of top-rated neck creams that are getting serious buzz. Keep scrolling for our roundup of the most popular, most-reviewed neck creams you can get your hands on right now – including one from Trinny London that's the beauty entrepreneur's secret to a smoother and firmer neck. Our necks don't have as much fat underneath, which would normally make the skin look plumper. Our neck also doesn't have many sebaceous glands, which means it never gets oily and oiliness can be really good for skin to give it extra hydration,' she explained. $96 at Adore Beauty Why we love it: It's a rich, luxurious and creamy texture that feels great to put on. For those with sensitive skin, you're going to want to be careful with how many active products you load onto your skin. The skin on our neck can also be more delicate compared to the rest of our face. HOW WE CHOOSE PRODUCTS Our team of experienced writers spend hours researching products to include in articles. We find out what factors make a good product by talking to experts, reviewing test results and analysing thousands of customer reviews. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS WHAT ELSE CAN YOU DO TO FIX TECH NECK? Besides investing in a neck cream, if you want to keep a smooth and more youthful looking appearance, you're going to want to be applying an SPF every single morning. The sun's UV rays contribute to all signs of ageing, so keeping your skin protected is key. Another obvious point is not be on your phone as much – which we know, is not an easy task. Try and take regular breaks, and ensure you maintain good posture while scrolling and having fun with your friends. WHAT'S THE BEST WAY TO APPLY A NECK CREAM? For the best results, you should apply your neck cream everyday – think of it as an extension to the rest of your face. Make sure you always follow up with an SPF to keep your skin protected – you can see our roundup of the best ones for your face here.
