Race-by-race tips and previews for Monday's Kempsey meeting
Track Soft 7 and rail True Race 1 4. Turning Circle has the fitness and map edge deep into her prep, having placed in her last three runs up to provincial level where she boxed on okay after leading over the mile. Will likely jump favourite back in trip from a handy draw, and suited on a track starting to dry out. 1. Shoot'em Up will also relish the drop back from provincial grade well into his first prep. Blinkers go back on, and the top country jockey takes over as well. 2. Fireup is an improver who ran home well at big odds last start coming off a freshen-up. Gap to the rest. How to play it: Turning Circle to win Race 2 2. Warbreccan has to overcome a wide draw at only his second start, but showed more than enough in a strong closing debut at Tamworth in heavy ground. Fitter now staying at the distance, and jockey change is significant. 1. Vendemmia resumes off a 24 week break in his first outing for the new northern NSW stable. Missed narrowly as a heavily backed favourite at Ipswich in mid February when first since spring, and has trialled steadily. Keep safe 4. Hayley's Rocket at good odds also improving into her second start. 3. River Biscotte who beat the top selection home when resuming, and 8. Apache Jack returning off a solid trial; can both run into the minor money. How to play it: Warbreccan to win Race 3 6. Ofcourseiam is an honest and lightly raced filly, and terrific value improving second-up with a gear change. Worked home late at Port Macquarie when having her first run since early last spring after being backed from $4.00 into $3.40. Gets more ground here, and again will settle back off a wider draw and be strong late at good odds. 10. Totally Underrated is the natural threat drawn inside and deep into the campaign. Held her ground okay in a stronger maiden last start, and the 11 day back-up is a solid pointer. 9. Torque Ti Amo is an emerging filly and likely the most talented in the race. How to play it: Ofcourseiam to win Race 4 9. Aleishka is a talented and imported filly well placed to land an overdue maiden win third-up. Finished off okay when having her first run Down Under off a nine month break before being ridden very quiet at Coonabarabran and thundering home late to miss by a nose. Naturally bred to thrive over this longer journey, and just needs a clear crack at them from the 400m to produce a dominant final burst. 6. Justice Please is a provincial-based filly banging on the door for a second win from her last three starts. Tracked the speed before driving home best at Gosford, then stuck on okay in a deeper race at Wyong. Drawn off the track, but finds a weaker race. How to play it: Aleishka to win

Turning Circle was placed at Gosford when resuming from a spell and followed that up with a 10th at Kembla Grange before a fourth as favourite at Wyong. Race-by-race tips and previews for Sunday's Parkes meeting
(Selections based on a soft track) Race 1 6. Amoruso is a three-year-old filly having her first start and she comes into this having easily won a trial at Tamworth. She scored by almost four lengths in that hitout and gets her chance to launch her career with a victory. 1. Cerons has two placings from six starts and has had two unplaced efforts in Queensland since finishing second in the Tamworth trial behind Amoruso. He's drawn wide here but has the talent to make an impact. 8. Spring Prospect debuted with a fifth at Mudgee back in December and has had two trials leading into this resuming run, winning the latest of them at Dubbo. 9. I Don't Think So was first-up from a long spell when finishing fourth at Dubbo and shouldn't be taken lightly. How to play it: Amoruso WIN. Race 2 13. Turning Circle started favourite when finishing fourth as favourite at Wyong last time out. She was safely held in that event but will find this easier and looks perfectly suited to break her maiden. 14. Winning Reign ran third placed at Dubbo when last produced and can make an impact again. 3. Outcast Soldier finished second in that same race at Dubbo and also can be thereabouts in this company, while 8. Billabong Rose is racing well and has the advantage of gate one. How to play it: Turning Circle WIN. Race 3 1. Egyptologist resumes here on the back of two trials. He won at Mudgee and Dubbo at his last two starts before a spell and looks primed to run well first-up over the mile. 4. Naval Officer is on the quick back-up after hitting the line well to win at Wellington on Tuesday. 9. Remadosi wasn't beaten far in the Murrumbidgee Guineas at Wagga last time out and is worth plenty of thought, while 2. Midnight Affair ran well at Hawkesbury in Highway company at her latest outing. How to play it: Egyptologist WIN. Race 4 2. Princess Halo was a Sapphire Coast winner three starts ago and has since finished midfield in both runs. She can bounce back to winning form here. 6. Sheridan Street won well on debut at Gundagai as favourite before tackling the Wagga carnival and never being a factor. She can lift on that in this company. 7. Swilken Bridge is handy at best and can give cheek from the good draw, while 11. The Mooch has been placed in two of her latest three starts and can figure again. How to play it: Princess Halo WIN.
