Apoorva Mukhija On Urfi Javed Getting Abused After The Traitors Win: 'People In Power Don't Care'

Apoorva Mukhija stated that she may not have won The Traitors but she is very happy with her journey in the show. Apoorva Mukhija and Urfi Javed were always at loggerheads in The Traitors. And while the latter has won Karan Johar's show now, The Rebel Kid also feels that Urfi played a 'fair game". In an exclusive interview with News18 Showsha, Apoorva opened up about Urfi's victory and shared that the latter played the game with a 'great strategy". 'Honestly, Urfi played a fair game. She did play a very number game where she had a lot of people in her corner, which honestly is a great strategy to play the game with. The only thing that I'm underwhelmed with is that she heard him (Puraj Jha), she heard them talking and that's all. But I think anybody who is the winner deserves to be the winner because they have done something right. They definitely don't deserve the hate that they are getting," she told us. However, Apoorva also bashed those abusing or threatening Urfi after her victory and stated, ' Virat Kohli had said this, that people in this country love to blame women, either they even or they lose, people just love to blame women in this country. I think it's unreal that us, who played the game, have not taken it that seriously. We don't hold anything against Urfi or Nikita because they won. We all share our respectful opinions. I think since so much of the audience in India is Bigg Boss audience, they're so used to abusing others, this is not that game." The content creator further made a strong statement, saying, 'Nikita must have done something right, Urfi must have done something right, which is why they have won. Nobody has the right to go and abuse them." Apoorva questioned the 'people in power" to take action against hatemongers on social media. 'I just hate to know that things like this continuously keep happening in this country and there is nothing that anybody does about it. The platforms don't do anything about it. People in power don't care about women getting abused every single day on social media. And that is the entire truth. That is the only truth that matters. We live in a country where kisi ko bhi kuch bhi kehna has no consequences," she added. While Apoorva took a stand for Urfi, we asked her about the latter's comment regarding her in another of our interviews – that she would never answer Apoorva's calls. Reacting to the same, The Rebel Kid explained, 'I think we shouldn't answer each other's calls. We are just not two people who can seem to get along. I am sure you also have people in your life with whom you cannot get along. The only problem is that ours has been broadcasted to millions of people. I appreciate people who hold a grudge because they at least have some ground that they stand on. Let's not solve it otherwise. One must have a few enemies, too, in life." Apoorva concluded by saying that she may not have won The Traitors, but she is very happy with her journey in the show. 'I outperformed every single thing that I had thought of. This has been one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life and there is nothing that I would change about it. I'm so happy that I went in the ninth episode because had I gone to the 10th, I would have, I really like ended the game on me and Purav and said 'Hum dono innocents hai'. I'm really glad that I was not in that spot. I'm just very happy about the timing of my exit from the show and the way I played the game was great," she said. First Published:

He said that after a YouTuber's video went viral, several of the YouTuber's followers began targeting him with homophobic slurs. According to Sufi, Urfi and her sister Dolly Javed shared the video on their Instagram stories and 'used homophobia to create controversy for attention.' Sufi Motiwala told us, 'There was a whole issue with a YouTuber and his straight audiences were abusing me online with homophobic slurs. It is unacceptable. Urfi and Dolly Javed also posted it on their stories and deleted it later. They were excusing homophobia to create a point for her. In a fiery turn of events, Sufi Motiwala hit back at the Javed sisters on Instagram after being accused of hypocrisy and being called out by Urfi for alleged abusive behaviour. Sufi, in his statement, made it clear that he never mentioned any names in his earlier post condemning homophobia. 'If the shoe fits, wear it,' he wrote and accused the sisters of dragging him into a 'manufactured' drama to grab headlines. 'Don't use me for TRPs,' he said bluntly, rejecting the narrative being spun around him. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Future-Ready Living in Godrej Majesty, Greater Noida Godrej Noida Book Now Undo In his lengthy Instagram post, Sufi also detailed his experience inside 'The Traitors' house. He claimed Urfi had influenced the house to vote him out 'just for vibes' rather than actual strategy, and said that her actions had left him feeling isolated. 'Imagine the mental turmoil when no one in a house of 20 wants to talk to you because Urfi Javed hates you,' he wrote. Despite admitting he didn't like her, Sufi maintained that he had the decency to apologise for using harsh language. He drew a distinction between the online backlash Urfi often faces and his own comments, saying, 'The entire internet calling you names is different from me reacting after being cornered.' Urfi Hits Back Never one to stay silent, Urfi fired back with multiple Instagram Stories, accusing Sufi of playing the victim while being abusive on national TV. She recalled a past incident where he allegedly sent her an abusive DM, which she deleted only after his team — who also represent her — requested it. Urfi Javed Blasts Sufi Motiwala Over His Online Rant: 'Ye Aadmi Poori Duniya Ko Gaali De...'

Last Updated: Urfi Javed hits back at Sufi Motiwala for targeting her post-The Traitors, saying he abuses everyone but plays victim when called out. Urfi Javed is back in the headlines for her off-screen spat with influencer and former The Traitors co-contestant Sufi Motiwala. Although Urfi is no longer a part of the reality show hosted by Karan Johar, the drama surrounding it is far from over. The latest showdown began when Sufi Motiwala posted a fiery Instagram Story aimed at Urfi and her sister Dolly Javed. He accused Urfi of influencing the house to vote him out 'just for vibes," and questioned her credibility on a game show that requires 'observation, strategy, and brainpower." In his post, Sufi ranted, 'Uorfi Javed I'm sick of you and your stupid narrative… You started targeting the youngest cast member based on a feeling and CONVINCED the whole house to vote for me just for vibes." He went on to say that despite not liking her, he had the decency to apologise for his language, unlike her. 'I don't like you… but I apologised. To think you don't have the brainpower to understand the difference of the entire internet calling you a c****a and me abusing you after you've cornered me." He further distanced himself from Urfi and said she was the one dragging his name after he critiqued her designs as 'half-baked." Urfi, never one to back down, posted a series of Instagram Stories addressing Sufi's claims. She reminded everyone of a previous incident where Sufi allegedly sent her an abusive DM, which she only took down after his team—who also represent her—requested it. Clapping back at his criticism of her sister Dolly, Urfi wrote, 'Stop victimising yourself when you're the one who's abusing me on national television calling me 'm*******d saali'. Ye aadmi poori duniya ko bole, judge kare, gaali de, koi inhe palat k bol de toh problem hai!" In another post, she continued, 'Aap ko sab allowed hai bolna but ab uska reply mil jaye toh victimisation shuru. I wasn't even saying anything but my sister has her own voice." Urfi further revealed that she's received thousands of hate messages and threats too, but chooses not to play the 'victim card." Mocking Sufi's age comment, she quipped, 'Bhaiya agar itni age kam hai toh kyu aaye aap show pe?" First Published:
