'A bold global expansion roadmap will see Hero MotoCorp extend its presence into Germany, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom in the second quarter of FY2025–26, as we carry our vision of mobility without boundaries to new markets,' Munjal said. "Our entry into Europe and the UK later this year marks the next phase in our global ambition — backed by engineering excellence and innovation," he added. He also said that the firm achieved 43 per cent year-on-year growth in international markets in FY 2024-25 from South Asia to Latin America through a sharp focus on customer experience, quality and scale. Electric future The company's electric mobility brand VIDA recorded a 200 per cent increase in sales during the year (FY25), aided by a wider retail footprint across urban centres, said Munjal. On strategic partnerships, Munjal highlighted the company's investment in Ather Energy, and its collaboration with Zero Motorcycles in the US. 'Our partnership with Ather Energy, now a publicly listed company, strengthens India's largest EV charging network and premium electric segment leadership,' said Munjal. 'Our partnership with California-based Zero Motorcycles is culminating in an exciting new premium motorcycle,' he added. He also said that the company's investment of ₹510 crore in Euler Motors is intended to strengthen the company's position in the electric three-wheeler segment. 'Each step reaffirms our belief – the future of mobility in India will be electric, inclusive and innovation-led. Hero MotoCorp is proud to lead this transformation,' added Munjal. Hero MotoCorp Q4 results Hero MotoCorp reported a 6 per cent year-on-year (Y-o-Y) increase in standalone net profit to ₹1,081 crore for the fourth quarter of FY25, up from ₹1,016 crore in the same quarter last year. However, the profit declined 10 per cent sequentially from ₹1,203 crore in Q3 FY25. Revenue from operations grew 4 per cent Y-o-Y to ₹9,939 crore, compared to ₹9,520 crore in Q4 FY24. On a quarter-on-quarter (Q-o-Q) basis, revenue dipped 3 per cent from ₹10,211 crore posted in the preceding quarter.

Hero MotoCorp reported dispatching 553,963 units of motorcycles and scooters in June 2025, marking a 10.03% increase compared to 503,448 units dispatched in June 2024. Motorcycle sales aggregated to 512,658 units (up 8.33% YoY), and scooter sales added up to 41,305 units (up 36.68% YoY) in June 2025. While domestic sales rose by 6.86% YoY to 525,136 units, exports increased by 139.59% YoY to 28,827 units in June 2025. Retail momentum remained strong, with the company registering 3.94 lakh vehicles on the Vahan portal, signalling steady demand across both urban and rural markets. The company expects the onset of monsoons and a positive economic outlook to further boost sales heading into the festive season. VIDA, powered by Hero, continued its growth momentum, dispatching 7,178 units and recording 7,665 VAHAN registrations that translate into a steady gain. The brand expanded its portfolio with the launch of the VX2, billed as Badalte India ka Scooter. The VX2 blends EV technology with scooter practicality and is offered with Vida's innovative Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model, enabling pay-per-kilometer flexibility and reducing upfront ownership costs. Hero MotoCorp is the worlds largest manufacturer of motorcycles and scooters, with a global footprint spanning 48 countries across Asia, Africa and Latin America. It has collaborations with Harley-Davidson and Zero Motorcycles and strategic investments in Ather Energy and Euler Motors. The companys standalone net profit increased 6.39% to Rs 1,080.94 crore on a 4.41% jump in revenue from operations to Rs 9,938.65 crore in Q4 FY25 over Q4 FY24. The scrip rose 0.74% to currently trade at Rs 4,260 on the BSE.

Vida, Hero MotoCorp's electric mobility brand, has launched the new VX2 electric scooter, With prices starting at Rs 59,490 (ex-showroom).Two variants with Battery-as-a-Service optionThe VX2 is available in two variants, VX2 Go and VX2 Plus and introduces an Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model. This allows customers to lease the battery instead of buying it outright, significantly reducing the upfront cost. Under this plan, the VX2 Go is priced at Rs 59,490 (ex-showroom) and the VX2 Plus at Rs 64,990 (ex-showroom). Without BaaS, the prices go up to Rs 99,490 (ex-showroom) for the Go variant and Rs 1,09,990 for the Plus (ex-showroom). advertisementBattery, range, and charging capabilitiesVida claims that the BaaS model brings down running costs to just Rs 0.96 per kilometre. As an added benefit, if battery performance drops below 70%, Vida will replace it free of charge during the subscription period. The VX2 Go features a 2.2kWh battery that delivers an IDC-certified range of up to 92km, while the VX2 Plus gets a larger 3.4kWh battery capable of up to 142km on a full charge. Both batteries are removable, offering flexible three-way charging options. Fast charging allows the battery to reach 80% in just 60 minutes. Using the standard 580W charger, a full charge takes about 3 hours and 53 minutes for the Go and around 5 hours and 39 minutes for the VX2 rides on 12-inch wheels, features a sleek, flowing design with a familiar Vida silhouette and comes in seven contemporary colour options, including exclusive shades for the Plus variant. The scooter gets a long, flat single-piece seat, a pillion backrest, and a practical front-mounted frunk for added utility. New Delhi [India], June 18 (ANI): Hero Motocorp on Wednesday introduced the Battery-as-a-Service (BaaS) model for its VIDA VX2, which will help consumers reduce the upfront ownership cost, making electric mobility more affordable and accessible to a wider customer base. This 'pay-as-you-go' battery subscription is intended to make VIDA Electric Vehicle (EV) ownership more flexible and affordable. This BaaS model will be launched on July 1, 2025. This subscription model will allow, customers to have the option to finance the scooter chassis and battery separately, reducing significant upfront capital expenditure into manageable monthly payments. With the help of this BaaS model, VIDA customers will be get an option to improve cost efficiency. Additionally, they will also get access VIDA's pan India ecosystem which includes over 3,600 fast-charging stations and 500+ service points across 100+ cities. 'By removing conventional barriers and reimagining EV ownership and experience, VIDA aims to democratize electric mobility while offering unmatched convenience, flexibility, and peace of mind', the company said. According to Hero Motocorp, consumers can choose from flexible subscription plans tailored to their daily or monthly budget and usage, which will offer greater affordability, convenience, and peace of mind in EV ownership. Recently, VIDA launched the 'Charging Simple Hai' campaign during the ongoing IPL season in May. Showcasing its removable battery technology with the message 'Every plug point is a VIDA charging point', the campaign highlights the ease of charging VIDA's batteries using any standard 5-amp socket, making electric mobility truly convenient and accessible. VIDA, powered by Hero MotoCorp, continued to deliver growth with dispatches of 8361 units and 7161 VAHAN registrations for the VIDA V2 electric scooter range. The brand has also been teasing its upcoming electric two-wheeler over social media, which also, will avail benefits from the new service. Instead of purchasing the scooter and battery together, buyers will have the option to finance the chassis and battery separately. The subscription model is designed to lower the initial cost of ownership by spreading battery-related expenses into monthly payments. Users will be able to choose from flexible subscription plans based on their budget and expected usage. Further details, including subscription pricing and plan options, will be released on July 1, 2025. The manufacturer says that the new approach is intended to improve access to electric vehicles by offering more flexible financing options and the company's network currently includes more than 3,600 fast-charging stations and 500 service points across over 100 cities, which will support the rollout of the BaaS model. The teasers on social media do not reveal much other than the side view of the scooter's fascia, wherein the scooter gets a squareish LED headlamp with a new design and a bright red colour shade. Codenamed VX2, the upcoming scooter is anticipated to be positioned as a more affordable option compared to the V2 in the product lineup. This scooter was also spotted earlier featuring a smaller TFT display and switchgear similar to that of the V2. Notably, it includes a physical keyhole, suggesting that the VX2 aims to cater to budget-conscious consumers. The V2 is available with three battery pack options, while the VX2, which has also been seen, includes a 'Plus' identifier, indicating several variants may be offered. An image leak showed that the new scooter's alloy wheels would be the same as those on the V2. Currently, the Vida V2 has three versions: V2 Lite, V2 Plus, and V2 Pro.
